(All the Prophets) are descendants of each other. Allah is Samee (All-Hearing) and Aleem (All-Knowing).
Tafsir
As I have explained in previous lessons, Allah (swt) created His Messenger Muhammad (s.a.w.) from His light. Then He gave him his soul. From the soul of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) He created the souls of the other prophets. In this way, they became a single descendant of each other. He brought his first created Messenger into the world as the last of the prophets in order to send him as a mercy to the worlds, to increase his honor and glory, to make him a witness over all the prophets, and to glorify him as the founder of the religion of Islam until the Day of Judgment. In this case, he was offered a position that people could not even imagine.
This means that before all souls were created and came into the world, before people put on the guise of a body, the beginning of humanity was Rasul-i Ekrem and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Since this whole universe was created from the light of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the Prophet (pbuh) became the Prophet (vema erselnake illâ rahmeten lil alemin). In this respect, the Prophet Khadijah was sent to bring prophethood to an end and to complement good morals.
Allah is the All-Seeing, All-Hearing. Since the Creator does not exclude His creatures from Himself, and since all creatures are dependent on Him, He is the One who knows their condition and is the One who corrects them. As the All-Knowing, He knows everything. Because Allah, who created the Universe out of nothing, created everything from mote to sphere, and the secret of creation belongs to His Essence.
Allah is the All-knowing, therefore He knows everything and is aware of everything. Not even a particle can move without His knowledge.
What is said in the video
All these prophets are a single lineage, descending from one another. Now we come to the real, core meaning. Since, first of all, before the worlds were created, the Prophet (peace be upon him), creating him by giving his light (?) from His soul, and from his soul creating the souls of the prophets, and from their souls, those prophets' souls, creating the souls of their peoples, the prophets in this way become a single lineage descending from one another. A single lineage. Now there are many meanings to be told here.
Perhaps if we go further, I will tell you. The verses that support these points. What does it say? All these prophets are a single lineage descending from one another. Since the prophets are pure, they are sinless, in Allah's sight they are pure and clean, so whichever of His prophets Allah Almighty praises, let Him praise, because those prophets are a single lineage descending from one another, and because from their souls the souls of their peoples were created, they are, above the worlds, the chosen of all people. Because it says the worlds. In the worlds, the only most chosen one is man. No created being is more honourable than man.
In the verse too: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, ve lekad halakne'l-insâne fî ahseni takvîm. It says: I created man in the most beautiful form. In the most beautiful form He created him. And in the universe, as soul, only man has a soul. Those without knowledge attribute a soul to cats, dogs, animals, nature. Allah protect us. Allah protect us. Only man has a soul. For this reason too, people are very honourable. And what it calls the worlds, these beings He created, the animals, wolves, birds, the noble angels, whatever He created, man is more valuable than all of them. Is the one who is an unbeliever valuable too?
Is the one who denies Allah valuable too? Because he has a soul, Allah Almighty, who gives him his provision as long as he lives, created them as the noblest of creatures above all He created. Since in the end the return is to Allah, for the deeds he did he will be called to account, and the other created beings will cease to exist, except the angels.
These, however, will remain in Hell forever. Because they were created honourable, and because they denied the Allah who created them, and since they are immortal, they will remain in Hell forever. What does this mean? Only man is addressed by Allah, and he is, of created beings, the most honourable. That is one. All these prophets are a single lineage descending from one another. Allah Almighty, in a verse as well, has the verse: who created you from a single nafs. Who created from a single nafs. Here it goes even deeper. Well, then it says: who created his mate for Adam, for Adam; well, when it says who created you from a single nafs, and then when it says He created Adam's mate, then, when there was no Adam, before Adam was created, that is, before he was created from clay, his soul exists, before his soul the Prophet's soul exists, his nafs exists, his nafs exists: who created you from a single nafs, that is, who created you from His essence, He gives him a soul, a soul. That soul is our Lord's (?); this is people understanding some things crosswise, and tying the matter only to Adam, and bringing the single nafs from Adam to here. And before that, it says, may Allah grant well-being.
As we explained in the previous verse, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was created first; since Allah Almighty, from the soul of the Prophet (peace be upon him), created the souls of the other prophets, and the beginning is the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), they are a single lineage descending from one another. Then from these prophets' souls the souls of the peoples were created. We have written this here too, to some extent.
From here, how does it say that before all souls were created and came into the world, before people put on the garment of the body, the beginning of humanity is the Noble Messenger and Esteemed Prophet, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The beginning of humanity. Since the whole universe was created from the light of Muhammad, in this respect, and again in this respect, as the Seal of the Prophets, the one who ends prophethood and completes good character, he was sent.
We also said this in addition: although people say that mankind spread from Adam, that is so in the outward sense. It is a spreading from Adam. In the inner meaning, the souls were earlier, in the realm of Lahut, created. Then, for the souls to come to this realm of Mulk, a garment of the body was needed. Allah Almighty created that body and called it Adam. Then He gave him of His soul.
And when people say mankind comes from a single nafs, they mean Adam. Whereas we said that before him the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was created. Before all souls. So when it says He created you from a single nafs, since from the soul of the Prophet (peace be upon him) the souls of the prophets, and from the prophets' souls the souls of the peoples were created, inwardly, inwardly, and in the true meaning, all people are created from the soul of the Prophet (peace be upon him). And in many places we say that people, indirectly, from the soul of the Messenger of Allah were created. Indirectly, all people are created from the soul of the Messenger of Allah.
How is it indirectly, Hodja? Since the prophets are from his soul, and from those prophets' souls come the souls of the peoples, he is in the position of the elder and father of all people; in this respect he came as a mercy to the worlds, came to complete good character, and for his religion to continue until the Day of Judgement, and so that Allah Almighty would give him an unknown station, the Praised Station (Makam-ı Mahmud), He sent him as the last prophet. Because he is the greatest of the worlds. Because he is the greatest of created beings. Yes. So from whom did he take that nafs? He created this from a single nafs.
From the Divine Essence. Because He gave him of His soul.
Soul, nafs and life are one, the body is separate, we said. Bodies are separate. If we go deeper, we said. It is so. Yes. To those who listen to us we explain a little more deeply, because they, since they listen to us, earn the right to ask us questions, and by asking questions people can develop their knowledge better; but if we were to write more deeply in the book, since someone who knows us or does not know us cannot ask us questions, and since his knowledge is not of a capacity to grasp it, it harms those people. That is why, though it is somewhat Sufi, somewhat inward-Sufi, somewhat deep, since we write with words that refer to one another, at least enough to be worked out, since we write the verses so that they refer to one another, they can, with a better understanding, grasp what we have written.
Yes.
