Oh Mary! Worship your Lord, prostrate and bow with those who bow (to Allah)!”

Tafsir

O Mary! Do not fail in worshipping your Lord. Continue your prayer. Bow down with those who bow down before Him, bow down in ruku' and prostration. Bow down with those who bow down before Him. This means pray in congregation. It is not permissible for women to pray in congregation among men. It is said that Maryam used to pray in congregation in her room in Bayt al-Maqdis. In this respect, since the rewards in congregational prayers and worship are high, Allah (swt) made Hadrat Maryam pray in congregation in her own room, in her own private place, not among men, to increase the reward. In addition, Zakariyya 'alaihis-salâm', in his capacity as a prophet, bowed down with those who bow down in the presence of Allah, because worship behind a prophet is more favorable.

Can a person be blessed with so many blessings and forget his Lord? Especially if Allah is his teacher and nurturer. The fact that He said, "Prostrate and bow with those who prostrate and bow" means that Hazrat Maryam did not hold back from worship, that she prostrated and bowed in the presence of Allah (swt) with the people at the altar, and that she was praised by Allah (swt). It is declared by our Lord.

What is said in the video

The forty- third verse: O Mary, worship your Lord, worship your Lord, fall down in prostration, and with those who bow in His presence bow down too, it says.

What did we say just now, above? By your worship she was made distinguished, she was chosen by your worship. Evident from early childhood. Given as a vow to Allah in Bayt al-Maqdis and growing up there, under the protection of a prophet being raised, Allah Almighty, you with (?) nourishing, cleansing her of her sins, and her continually, to Allah, spending her life in worship, without (?) any man, her becoming a mother, yes, of course these are great miracles. These are great miracles.

O Mary, worship your Lord. Fall down in prostration. With those who bow in His presence, you too bow.

Our commentary (?) Mary. Worship your Lord. Do not fall short. Keep up your prayer. Bow with those who bow in His presence. Do ruku and prostration. With those who bow in His presence, you too bow. What is meant here. The meaning here: Pray in congregation. It is not permissible for women to pray in congregation among men. It is said that Mary, in Bayt al-Maqdis, in her own room, would pray in congregation. In congregation. In this respect, since in prayers performed together and in acts of worship the rewards earned are greater, Allah Almighty had our mother Mary in her own room, without going among men, in a place of her own, pray in congregation, so as to increase her (?).

Also, Zechariah (peace be upon him) having the quality of a prophet, since worship done behind a prophet is superior, He said: with those who bow in Allah's presence bow down. Now a question like this may come to our mind here. Prayer was given to the Prophet (peace be upon him). Mary, however, before the Prophet came, before Jesus had even come into the world, at a young age, when she became an adult, Allah Almighty commands her with worship, commands her to worship.

This, that worship is in you. With those who do ruku, who bow, bow, it says; fall down in prostration, with those who bow in His presence you too bow. How beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. He does not say: perform the prayer. The prayer belongs to the Muslim. Standing, bowing, prostration, tahiyyat. The others did some of these. Some of them. What is this? They bowed, they showed reverence in His presence. Reverence. And they fell down in prostration. and they would prostrate (?).

In this case, since only some of the elements within the prayer occur here too, with those who bow in His presence one must bow, it says. It doesn't say perform the prayer. Bow with those who bow. But to the Muslim He commands. Perform the prayer, He says. In the verse He says: you, (?) the prayer and give the zakat. Here, although she entered among the four great women, He does not say: perform the prayer. Bow together with those who bow, He says. Together with those who bow. That is, together with those who obey their Lord. You, fall down in prostration, He says. In prostration. But prostration, yes.

Well, Hodja, couldn't people understand it this way here now? You explained it here, now we understood. But you didn't say it like this, you say. Truly, everyone knows, everyone, that prayer was made obligatory for the Prophet. Well, that is, to his community, to the people after him; not to his community, to all the people of the world, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) came as a mercy to the worlds, he is a prophet to all people, a prophet to humans and jinn. Those who follow him perform the prayer; they don't follow, they go by their own heads. They will give account for it in the presence of Allah Almighty at the (?) Judgment.

So, since everyone knows this so well, here we (?). We left it at this much. And we said that since prayer is (?), there is no (?) in this. We wrote it this way. When we explain, you understand these anyway. When a person is granted so much, so many blessings, can that person forget his Lord? Especially if her teacher and trainer is Allah. His saying: prostrate and bow with those who prostrate and bow, that Mary did not hold back from worship, that in her prayer niche, together with people, she prostrated and bowed in the presence of Allah Almighty, and that she performed the prayer here we do not say; only that she prostrated and bowed, that is, with those who bow she bows, you see, that's ruku; full ruku as the Prophet taught us; they may bow in other ways too.

That she was granted Allah Almighty's praise, and is approved by our Lord, we say. That is, through Mary going into ruku and prostration.
