“Oh Our Lord! Take us out of here. If we return again (to what we were doing), we are truly oppressors.”
Tafsir
When these people who deny Allah and the Hereafter enter Hell, they say to Allah (swt), "Get us out of here, if we ever go back to what we were, we are cruel people, so give us the punishment you want," thinking that they will deceive Allah (swt). The thing is that Allah created our souls, and when He made a covenant with them, He gave each soul's desires and wishes as its destiny. They were taken to the realm of Berzah, the grave and waiting place of souls, until a time to come in the world. What lies beyond here is important! If we listen well, we will understand better why Allah (swt) did not take into consideration the regrets of these people and their pleas for forgiveness from Allah (swt). Up to this point, we have described some events in parts. Let us gather together what we have told here and what we have learned. We will be able to unravel behind the curtains of why Allah (swt), the Exalted, is the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted. We are going to go into a little bit of detail, collecting information, together with events that do not seem to be related to this Verse, and we are going to combine it with this Verse.
Allah (swt) will take people to Paradise not with their bodies, but with their souls, spirits and souls. Although the proofs of these have been made in the previous verses, we will gather all the information in this verse and explain their connection with each other better with a repetition, as if it has never been explained. Yes, we will not enter heaven or hell with our bodies. Bodies are entrusted to us. They are for our appearance on earth. Allah created the soul of our ancestor Adam. He made a covenant in the spirit world. He lifted all the souls together with the soul of our ancestor Adam to their graves in the world of Berzah. Then, He created the body of our ancestor Adam from mud and put his soul into this body. Then he told Iblis and the angels to prostrate to Adam.
If we prove what we say with verses, we will learn better, we will realize that our old knowledge is wrong, and we will be judged by the truth.
So, when Allah (swt) created our bodies from mud, He did not make a covenant with our bodies after He put the souls into the body. He introduced His Essence to our souls as soon as He brought them to Himself. Allah, who put the free will in the hands of human beings, made a covenant with them. He created the body of our ancestor Adam later. He put his soul into the body and gave it a physical appearance. Then He put our ancestor Adam into paradise together with our mother Eve. But Allah's intention was to bring people into the realm of property without entering Paradise, and to hold everyone to account for what they had earned and to place them in their rightful places.
He sent our ancestor Adam and our mother Eve to the earth by bringing events into existence. Our ancestor Adam and our mother Eve came to the earth as the first human beings. Then Allah (swt) created human beings from this couple in order for the souls to come to the property. When the fetus was a piece of flesh in the womb, on the fortieth day, He sent the souls whose time had come to this fetus. Thus the soul became embodied in the body. The essence and origin of man is the soul. Man is born, lives and dies, but the bodies, which are the mounts of the soul, die, but the souls do not. That is why Allah says, "All souls will taste death". He does not say that all souls will die. I am going to list many Ayat-i-Karimahs that Heaven and Hell will not be entered with bodies. I am not going to open them, some of them have been opened part by part in some past Ayat-i-Karimahs. When the turn of these Verses comes, I will explain them to you. (When the souls are paired). That is, when the souls and the bodies come together. (When you come to the Presence with a driver). (We will resurrect you twice and kill you twice) (You are being returned to the first creation), these Verses show that bodies will not enter Paradise. We will prove that the soul, nafs and spirit are one and the flesh is separate.
Our souls come to the world veiled. Our souls are taken from the realm of Berzah and brought to the realm of Jabbarrut. This place called the realm of Jabbarrut is the realm of closeness. Allah (swt) dresses this soul in a garment of the light of Jabbarut. The soul that wears this disguise is called the sultani soul.
What is this disguise? When Allah (swt) sends our souls to the realm of property, He completely closes our covenant in the Hereafter. He sends us to an unseen realm in the realm of property and commands us to believe in the unseen. He has created these realms so that those who do not believe in the Hereafter by showing us His Essence will not say, "If you had sent us to a realm where Your Essence is not visible, see how we would have worshipped you with faith. In this realm of intimacy called the realm of Jabbarrut, our soul is closed to a section where the hereafter lives, like the password of a computer. This part exists in the memory, but in the world, man cannot remember this closed part of the hereafter. From here he sends this soul to the angelic realm. There, too, He dresses it in a garment of angelic light. He closes this soul here too with a cipher. Man forgets these realms too. They are in the memory, but again he cannot remember them. From there, He sends our souls to the realm of property, which is called the corporeal soul. Our souls entered the fetus on the fortieth day in the womb. The realm of the hereafter is completely closed to human beings, and Allah has made our souls appear as a body, intertwined with the world. One of the verses says: "And when man increased his interest in the body and forgot his Lord, Habibim, remind them of the days with their Lord".
If the origin of human beings is the soul, then people will be held to account with their souls and our souls will be taken into account. If people have made a good covenant with Allah, by reforming their souls while living in the world, they can ascend to the realm of angelic and Jabbarut and see the places they have come from. These are the events that happen after the Tajelliyat. They are among the righteous servants of Allah (swt). They are like the Companions on earth. When people come to the realm of property, they live their destiny in proportion to the covenant they have made with Allah (swt). Since they cannot step out of this destiny, they will either be a disbelieving rebellious tyrant or a good person who is obedient to Allah. They live their destiny in the realm of property and make themselves witnesses to Allah according to their will.
If the origin of human beings is the soul, and if Allah (swt) has made a covenant with our souls, and if Allah (swt) has given them the desires, wishes and wills of these souls as their destiny, these people will never change, even if they come to this world not once but thousands of times. In the Hereafter, their talk in this way is just empty talk. Therefore, their supplications and complaints will not be taken into consideration, and they will not become believers in the Hereafter. In that case, they will be eternal inhabitants of Hell.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 107. Our Lord, take us out of here; if we return again to what we did, then perhaps we are unjust people, then clearly we are unjust people. To whom does he say this? To Allah Almighty. Will Allah be fooled by this? He won't be fooled. Why?
This is the book of my destiny. I, I wished for my destiny from my Lord in its time, I received it. And it was engraved in me as characters. However much I tell you, once that realm is closed, my destiny is still this. I will live this.
This does not change.
Yes.
When these people who deny Allah and the hereafter enter hell, their saying to Allah Almighty, take us out of here; if we return again to what we did, we are unjust people, that is, then give us whatever punishment You want, is again talk in which they think they will fool Allah with words. That is, as our child Ender said here, (?) tell your Lord to lighten the punishment on us a little, they say. Look, they cannot say our Lord. Tell your Lord. Why? Because owing to the punishment they saw for their denial their hatred of Allah Almighty has grown, so they wait for their saviour, the Lord of their imagination, and they will take revenge on Allah who created them; that day is what they are waiting for.
You waited in that realm of Lahut, he did not appear. You came to this realm, worshipped idols you made with your own hands, he did not appear, so will he appear in hell, where you ended up last?
That is, Allah Almighty created our souls. When He made a covenant with them, He gave each soul its desire and wish as its destiny. Until a time of coming into the world, they were raised to the realm of barzakh, the grave and waiting place of souls. From here on is what matters. If it is listened to well, we will better understand these people's remorse and their asking Allah Almighty for forgiveness, and why Allah Almighty did not take it into account, I had said. I am explaining it anyway, we are talking. We repeat here what we said there. Up to here we explained some events part by part. Let us gather together what we explained and learned here.
That Allah Almighty is free from deficient attributes, why He did not accept their requests: we will have drawn back the curtain on this. Going into some detail regarding this verse, (?) gathering the information together with unseen events, with this verse we will bring it together, we had said.
Allah Almighty did not create people with the body, but with soul, nafs and life He created them. Where? At Allah Almighty's place. When did He create our bodies? Having earth brought from the world, our father Adam's body He created in human form, and said, when I breathe My spirit into this, prostrate.
Didn't He say so? What is the soul? Soul, nafs and life are, in the realm of Lahut, our original appearance. And when we leave our bodies, our souls do not die.
Every nafs shall taste death, your return is to Allah, He says. What does this mean? Every nafs shall taste death.
I die. Pay attention, look, what did it taste? I tasted death. Who dies? The body. What did I taste? I am alive. I tasted, I tasted death. The one who tastes death is surely alive, isn't he? Because he tasted death. So for soul, nafs and life there is no death. That there is no death, that paradise and hell are everlasting, Allah Almighty says in many verses anyway. There is no death in the hereafter. When He says, We revive you twice and cause you to die twice, the first revival is of the body, here. The first death is of the body, again in the world. The second revival of the body is in the hereafter: you with a driver, that is, soul and body will come face to face. He will come before Allah Almighty.
After our body, our mouths silenced, our feet bound, our hands made to speak, the soul taken as witness, our body will say exactly this. These are verses. You are being returned to the One who first created, He says. It tastes death a second time there. The body created from earth becomes earth.
What happened? There is no death for souls.
Yes. The verses are explicit anyway. But those who think themselves sheikhs, think themselves scholars, who put people into paradise with bodies, who make a lake at the gate of paradise and cleanse them and put them in there, wash them, put them in. May Allah reform them. Yes.
What is cleansing? What is the angels saying, today you have come pure? They will say it to people in paradise. In a verse Allah Almighty says this. Having come to the Station of Abraham and circled the House, He says, and at the Station of Abraham having prayed two rak'ahs, you are pure, as if newly born from your mother, He says. Look, pure. Did we become pure by washing? Well, we were cleansed of sins, we became pure. The angels also say, your coming here today, your coming pure. His entering there cleansed of his sins. A sinful person cannot go there and defile that place too. What does sinful person mean?
It is a person who will act in an unwanted way, outside Allah's religious ruling. Right? He will incur sin. Whereas if those who enter there are pure, (?) has been perfected. There is no longer any state in which he would commit a sin. Ah, there is. What will Allah Almighty do? We will load anew, He says there. What is this loading? We will no longer have any (?) that could lead us to sin again. Yes.
He will load it into memory. Memory.
What we say is proven with verses. Let us take it from further up. Allah Almighty will bring people not with the body, but with soul, nafs and life into paradise. Although the proofs of these were given in the previous verses, as if it had never been explained, we will gather all the information in this verse and, with a repetition, their connections to each other we will explain better, we had said. We already explained it. Let us explain it here, let's see what we explained. Yes. We will not enter paradise or hell with our bodies.
Bodies are a trust given to us. They are for providing our appearance on earth. Allah Almighty created the soul of our forefather Adam. He made the covenant in the realm of souls. He raised all souls, together with our forefather Adam's soul, to its grave in the realm of barzakh. Then, creating our forefather Adam's body from clay, He put his soul into this body. Then He said to Iblis and the angels, prostrate to Adam. Yes.
What did the angels say? Will You create on earth a human who will shed blood? What did Allah Almighty say? You do not know what I know. Why do you not know? Because neither the angels nor Iblis know that people were created earlier in the realm of Lahut. Before creating the worlds, Allah first created the light of the Prophet.
After subjecting his light to worship for seventy-eight thousand years, He gave him from His spirit. From his light He created the heavens and the earth and what is between them. And from his spirit He created the souls of people. First those of the prophets, then from the prophets' souls the souls of their peoples He created. In this case, because Allah Almighty, who brings the worlds into being from nothing, before creating the worlds first created the light of the Prophet and created the worlds from his light, He says, I will send you as a mercy to the worlds. Because the worlds were created from him.
Created from his light. The angels are unaware of these things. The jinn are unaware too. Yes.
Then, creating our forefather Adam's body from clay, He put his soul into this body. Then He said to Iblis and the angels, prostrate to Adam. If we go on proving what we say with verses, one learns it better. Realising that our old knowledge was wrong, we become bound by the truths, I had said. You know, the knowledge in people's minds. You know, they say paradise and hell with bodies.
So, when Allah Almighty created our bodies from clay, after putting the souls into the bodies, our bodies did not make the covenant. That is, He did not make the covenant with these either. As soon as He brought our souls, which He created first, to consciousness. What does this mean? However many souls will come into the world, all of them stand opposite. Imagine billions of pawns on a table. Let their remote control be in your hand. When you suddenly press the remote, they all come to life. Right? They will all start moving. Let's say a TV remote is in your hand. With that remote billions of televisions will work at the same time.
When you press, they all receive the same remote. Subject to the same code. Likewise people too suddenly come to themselves there. In the realm of Lahut. Very great meanings come out of this, but let's not say them. Let's come to the lesson. It overwhelms a person (?).
Yes.
As those souls come to themselves, Allah Almighty says, I am your Lord, doesn't He, there; the one who uses his reason is of the right, the one who denies of the left, to put it shortly now. The middle group. The sâbikun group. They are at the very front. That is, the group of saints and prophets.
So our bodies did not make the covenant there. What made the covenant? Our souls made the covenant. As soon as He brought our souls, which He created first, to consciousness, He made His Essence known to our souls. Giving partial will into people's hands as well. Allah made a covenant with them. Those people today who say I am a scholar are unaware of partial will, they don't know what it is. The scholars say so, but don't mix it up with (?), they say.
Has a partial soul been given to us? Partial. What does this mean? That is, a very small part. The whole is Allah Almighty. They don't even know that the whole soul is Allah Almighty. They (?) the soul. Its being called partial means, from a part of Him, a will He gave it. That is, steering oneself, governing oneself, with the judgements one makes, being able to prove oneself. That is will. He will do this with that will. Otherwise, if Allah Almighty removed my will from me and made me use His own will, what would He want from me anyway? Of will people are unaware. Let's continue our lesson.
Allah, who gave partial will into people's hands, made a covenant with them. He created our forefather Adam's body later. He put his soul into the body. He provided his outward appearance. Then He put our forefather Adam, together with our mother Eve, into paradise. But Allah's will was to bring people to the realm of Mulk without their entering paradise, to call everyone to account for what they earned and to place them where they deserve. But Allah Almighty ties everything to a cause. To a cause. He did not directly say, come on, go to the world. Why didn't He say it? He could have. Why didn't He?
(?) why didn't He say it?
Ah, if You had let my father Adam and my mother Eve dwell in paradise, and we too had lived there, we would have known You there and not been subjected to these punishments; would he say that? He would. There is a rebel in his nature. Paradise is forbidden to him too. What will happen? He created this unseen realm, that is, this realm in which His Essence is not seen. It will rest on (?) attributes. No one will be able to say to Allah Almighty, You did this, if only You had done that, if You had done this, it would have been so. Yes.
To bring people to the realm of Mulk without their entering paradise, to call everyone to account for what they earned and place them where they deserve, that was it.
So, bringing events about, He sent our forefather Adam and our mother Eve to earth. That is, the accursed one, with Ridwan, the guardian of paradise, wanted to get in. Ridwan of course won't let him in. He deceives him too. That is, in one narration he actually isn't deceived, but Ridwan, Allah Almighty also giving him, you know, a trait, his getting inside, coming to our forefather Adam: Allah did not want to make you everlasting. If you eat from this tree you will never taste death again, he says. In one narration, a wheat tree. He makes them eat from the wheat. Of course, once they eat, their coverings come open.
And Allah Almighty says, did I not tell you not to approach that tree? He says. Now as a punishment, (?), He says. As a punishment. Yes. What are we saying? Our forefather Adam and our mother Eve had come. That is, they had come to the world. Then, for the souls to come to Mulk, Allah Almighty derived people from this couple. In the mother's womb, while the embryo is a lump of flesh, on the 40th day He sent the souls whose time had come into this embryo. So the soul was clothed in a body. Man's origin and root is the soul. As man is born, lives and dies, the bodies, which are the mounts of the soul, die; the souls do not die. Therefore Allah Almighty says, every nafs shall taste death.
He does not say, every nafs shall die. Had He said every nafs shall die, we would have understood that souls are mortal.
What do we understand from this? Allah Almighty's hüve'l-evvelü ve'l-âhiru ve'z-zâhiru ve'l-bâtın: He is the First, the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden. If He is the First, the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, and that Allah subsists by His Essence and is deathless, then His part too is deathless. This is the soul. Because it is a part of His Essence. What does Allah Almighty say? If you seek honour and glory, honour and glory are with Allah. He does not separate us from His Essence. Yes.
Yes. Man's origin and root is the soul. As man is born, lives and dies, the bodies, the mounts of the soul, die; the souls do not die. Therefore Allah Almighty says, every nafs shall taste death. He does not say, every nafs shall die. I will list many verses showing that paradise and hell will not be entered with bodies. I will not explain them, it says. May Allah grant well-being, (?) never end anyway.
Some have been explained part by part in previous verses. When the turn of these verses comes, I will explain them to you too. When the souls are paired, with what? When they are paired with bodies. That is, when soul and bodies come face to face. When you come into My presence with a driver, body and soul (?) face to face. We revive you twice and cause you to die twice. You are being returned to the one first created. So these verses are, that paradise will not be entered with bodies, with bodies, the proofs.
We will prove that soul, nafs and life are one, and the flesh is separate. Our souls come veiled when they come into the world. Our souls taken from the realm of barzakh come to the realm of Jabarut. Who takes the soul from the realm of barzakh? Allah Almighty. Whichever soul will come to the world, whichever soul or whichever person will get along better with which mother and father, because if He gave those characters, He knows. Whichever mother and father that person will be tested with in the best way, they are (?) to each other. So that they are tested. Yes. Our souls come veiled when they come into the world, it says.
How do they come? When it is taken from the realm of barzakh, it comes to the realm of Jabarut. The realm of nearness. That is, the nearness where Allah Almighty takes that soul, the encounter. There He clothes it in a garment from the light of Jabarut. What is this garment? I write a program on a computer, I give it a password there, I have veiled that part. Isn't that so? Allah Almighty too puts a password there. The person forgets that place. It was forgotten. Where does He send it? To the realm of Malakut. There too He clothes it in a garment from the light of Malakut. That is, there too He encrypts it.
This is called the spiritual soul. When it comes into the world, it starts from zero. From the body. From the mind. This some call the animal soul. Others call it the human soul. Let's not say animal soul. Let's call it the human soul.
Can these passwords be broken? They can. Don't some people break passwords today? Don't they break the (?) given? They do. Well then, how will we break these passwords?
These passwords: with your traits matching the covenant you gave Allah, (?) by being a good person, by mastering your nafs, from nafs-i ammara to nafs-i lawwama, from nafs-i lawwama to nafs-i mulhima, from nafs-i mulhima to nafs-i mutmainna, from nafs-i mutmainna to nafs-i radiya, from nafs-i radiya, God willing, via (?) to nafs-i mardiyya, and from there, with the (?) who comes every 200 years, to nafs-i safiya, if you rise, with what? Breaking through the states of the nafs one after another, you see those realms; (?), that is what this is. Seeing the place you came from. Where? How would I know? I saw them all.
Because Allah used to show me. Look at the verses, how beautiful. They all support one another. They do not contradict one another. We came from there, we are going there again.
I told the children, didn't I. Yesterday I saw a place. Yesterday.
This is not secret. (?) night.
There is a talk somewhere. I am telling the children something. Again two people come from outside. They were my students too, apparently, but I don't remember them. Hodja, he says, we are going to throw out the sand, he says. Will you help? I am thinking. There are so many people here. He doesn't tell them. He tells me. I'll come, I say. Of course. I said to them too: Go and help. I'll help, but I'll go myself, I said.
We go to the pier. A pier, the sea. How big? (?) up to here. That is, one and a half metres wide, or two metres wide, two metres wide, in length, a boat fairly deep in the middle like this. One is sitting on one side, one on the other. They have emptied out the sand on the boat. Oh, these have emptied out the sand, he said. Those two also went into the sea and left. I put my hand into the sea. Hot spring water. It makes you want to go in. Clear. But the clearness of this sea does not resemble the clearness here. Oh, I know this place, I said. The realm of barzakh. The place we were taken from at six months, (?).
I recognise it.
I'll undress and go into the sea. That won't do. Where will I leave my (?)? I go into the sea in my clothes. But how beautiful the sea is. Let me swim to the shore. A beach. All the same place. From there I go into an office. I look like this and see my clothes are dry. I had a room there too, apparently. I will change my clothes there too, but my clothes are dry. Allah Allah, I said. So I didn't get wet, I said. That's how I (?). The realm of barzakh a second time. I know the time I was taken from there at six months. Now I see myself going there as an adult. So the term has probably come. It has come near. They are getting me used to it.
We will go. The term is approaching anyway. That is, wherever you came from, you will go there. (?). Wherever you were taken from, you will go back there.
How nice, (?) you hear everything in line with the verses. Yes.
What are we saying? Let's take this part again from the start.
It is brought to the realm of Jabarut. This place called the realm of Jabarut is the realm of nearness. Allah Almighty clothes this soul in a garment from the light of Jabarut. The soul wearing this garment is called sultan-ı ruh. Sultan-ı ruh. What is this garment? When Allah Almighty sends our souls to the realm of Mulk, He completely closes off our covenant in the realm of the hereafter from us. Sending us to an unseen realm in Mulk, He commands us to believe in the unseen. So that those who did not believe when He showed His Essence in the hereafter would not say, if You had sent us to a realm where Your Essence is not seen, look how we would have worshipped You with faith, He created these realms. So in this realm of nearness called Jabarut, for our soul, like a computer's password, a section in which the realm of the hereafter was lived is closed off.
This section exists in memory. But in the world a person cannot remember this closed section of the hereafter. From here He sends this soul to the realm of Malakut. There too He clothes it in a garment from the light of Malakut. He closes this soul off here too with a password. Man forgets these realms too. It exists in memory. Again he cannot remember. From there He sends our souls to the realm of Mulk. This is called the bodily soul. Our souls, in the mother's womb, on the 40th day have entered the embryo. The realm of the hereafter is completely closed off to man. Allah Almighty has given our souls, under the appearance of a body intertwined with the world, their appearance.
Yunus Emre says, you know, I clothed myself in flesh and bone, he says, I appeared as Yunus, he says. He is aware of all these places. In a verse: look, man increased his attachment to the body and forgot his Lord. My Beloved, remind him of the days spent with his Lord, He says. So, if man, if man's origin is the soul, people will be called to account with their souls, and our souls will be taken into account. The address is not to our bodies; our bodies are our mounts; our bodies, just as we get into a car, if we leave the car outside and go in, our bodies too are our cars.
So if man's origin is the soul, people will be called to account with their souls and our souls will be taken into account. If people gave Allah a good covenant, then while living in the world, by reforming their nafs, they can rise to the realms of Malakut and Jabarut and see the places they came from.
Yes.
If people gave Allah a good covenant, then while living in the world, by reforming their nafs, they can rise to the realms of Malakut and Jabarut and see the places they came from. These are events that come after the manifestations. First he must be a believer. Believer, manifestations, nafs-i mutmainna. The fourth state. The states after that are high states. For instance nafs-i radiya, the state of ilme'l-yakîn. Allah Almighty raising the person Himself. That is, the person matching this hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him), in which he said the saint of my ummah is like a prophet of the Children of Israel; Allah Almighty told the verses to the prophets.
He sent down the verses. To these people He gives the meanings of the verses. He shows the meanings, gives them. And according to His verse, to whom We give knowledge We give wisdom, they explain the wisdoms in those meanings. With those wisdoms all the verses complete one another. That is, he does not interpret it according to his own reason. He interprets it with wisdom. Perhaps it is understood. Yes.
Yes.
They are those who join the righteous servants of Allah Almighty. They are like the Companions on earth. So when people come to the realm of Mulk, in proportion to the covenants they gave Allah Almighty they live themselves out.
A moment ago your dervish asked a question. Is one who sees the Prophet a Companion, he asked. Yes.
People want to see the Prophet. They come to know the manifestations of Allah Almighty. After that they first see the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself. And after that, if there is, to the degree of the manifestations they are subject to.
When people come to the realm of Mulk, in proportion to the covenants they gave Allah Almighty they live their own destinies. Since they cannot go outside these destinies, outside their destinies, they will be either a denying, rebellious tyrant or a person obedient to Allah. Living their destinies in the realm of Mulk, according to their own wishes, they make themselves witnesses before Allah. So if man's origin is the soul, if it is with our souls that we made a covenant with Allah Almighty, if He gave these souls their desires and wishes, their aims, as destiny, these people would never change even if they came into the world not once but thousands of times.
In the realm of the hereafter too, their talking like this is nothing but empty words. Therefore their pleading and lamenting are not taken into account, and they, in this state, (?) forever, will not believe. In this case they remain forever people of hell.
