Tafsir
These people realize that they have only a short time left in this world compared to the Hereafter. They answer Allah (swt) according to the day of the Hereafter. They say that we stayed in the world for a day or part of a day. Allah (swt) says ask the Melaike-i Kirama, who calculate your days, how many years you have left on earth.
When you were in the world, you made the life of this world seem long. He will say, "During this time you have continued in your rebellion.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Mu'minun, verse 113. One day
or part of a day we stayed, they say.
Who says this? People, to Hell now. What does it say? Allah asks the deniers: How many years did you stay on earth? That's verse 112. And in verse 113: We stayed one day or part of a day. So ask those who keep count, it says.
Who are those who keep count? Ask the noble angels charged with keeping count of how long you lay beneath the ground, it says. Yes. That will come too. It will come in a verse. These people have understood that, measured against the hereafter, they stayed only a short time in the world. They answer Allah Almighty by the day of the hereafter:
We stayed in the world one day or part of a day, they say. Allah Almighty, however, says: How many years you stayed in the world — ask the noble angels who reckoned your days. While you were in the world, you saw worldly life as long. In that time, without mending your ways, you carried on in your transgression, He will say. They will carry on in their transgression.
