Those who fabricated this accusation (towards the wife of the Prophet) surely are a group among you. Do not assume that this is a bad matter for you; perhaps, it is good (consequently) for you. Tafsir
Those who slander the Prophet's wife, 'A'isha, are a group of you, meaning hypocrites. He informs us that these hypocrites will be punished severely in the sight of Allah. It is also sinful for some of the Muslims to pass on what they have not seen from one to another. Allah (swt) says about the Prophet and his family members: O Prophet! Do not take this slander against you as an evil for yourselves. That is, do not think that you have sinned by feeling guilty for this slander. We know the truth of the matter. This slander is a favor and a reward for you for your patience and waiting for a Sign from Allah. We will increase your rewards. And We will make the instigators of this sedition witnesses to themselves. He says, "We will punish them as they deserve and leave them as a remembrance for the worlds, as a reminder to the worlds.
It is understood from this verse that, "For every one of them there is a punishment for whatever he has committed as a sin. And there is a great torment for the one of them who is the ringleader and who bears the magnitude of this sin." This verse means that those among the Muslims who follow the hypocrites will be punished for their sins because of the slander they fabricated against Hadrat 'A'isha. The hypocrites, on the other hand, will be alone and desolate in the Hereafter and will be subjected to the wrath of Allah and will spend eternity in Hell.
When the verse says, "And for the one of them (who is the ringleader) who bears the brunt of this sin, there is a great torment", the meaning of the brunt of this sin is that the sins that Muslims bear are less than the hypocrites, that they fall victim to this slander unconsciously, but that every soul will be held accountable for what it has done, and that they will be forgiven in the end. When he says the greatest of sins, he means those who appear to be Islamic even beyond denying Allah and associating partners with Allah, those who are hostile to Islam, those who actually do not believe in Allah and the Prophets and create discord among Islam, these are the hypocrites. These are the ones who will receive the greatest torment in the eternal Hell. Already in this verse, Allah (swt) says that the greatest of the torments will be upon them, indicating that they will be eternal in Hell and that the most severe of the torments will be inflicted upon the hypocrites.
When the Prophet (SAW) was on a military expedition, Hadrat 'A'isha was also a participant in this expedition. When the Prophet (SAW) was returning from this expedition, Hadrat 'A'isha went aside to relieve her needs and dropped her necklace there. When she came to the place where they were resting, Hazrat 'A'isha realized that she had dropped her necklace and went back to the place where she was relieving herself. In the meantime, the soldiers gathered and thought that Hadrat 'A'isha was in a bundle and on a camel. This object, called khawdeç, is a closed, round, domed seat with a domed top, like a lattice, visible from the inside and invisible from the outside.
When the troops moved, they thought that Hadrat 'A'isha was in the trunk, and they moved. In the meantime, Hadrat 'A'isha stayed where she needed to look for her necklace. A man who was in charge of following the troops from behind took Hazrat 'A'isha and brought her to the troops.
A few hypocrites in this unit, including Abdullah bin Ubayy, one of the leading hypocrites, based on this incident, fabricated the slander that there was a relationship between Hadrat 'A'isha and the person who brought her to the unit.
This slander caused great distress to the Prophet (SAW). Hadrat 'A'isha, who was unwell at the time, was overwhelmed with grief after a while when she learned that she had been the victim of such a slander. He preferred to go to his family, his father, Hazrat Abu Bakr, r.a., who was grieving like him.
In the meantime, the Prophet (PBUH) would visit the house of Hazrat Abu Bakr from time to time to ask about the health and well-being of Hazrat 'A'ishah. It was during one such visit, approximately one month after the incident of slander occurred, that this verse came to our Prophet (PBUH) expressing the innocence of Hazrat 'A'ishah.
What is said in the video
We have come to the 11th verse of Surah An-Nur. Those who fabricated a grave slander against the Prophet's wife, against our mother Aisha, those who fabricated the grave slander, are surely a group from among you, it says.
Do not think it is something bad for you. Perhaps it is something good for you. Each person among them will have the recompense of the sin he earned. And for the one among them who was the ringleader and bore the magnitude of this sin, there is a very great punishment. Yes. This is a somewhat long verse. Let's read this. With this reading we'll explain it better, insha'Allah, my daughter, my daughter. In this case, its real, essential meaning: because our mother Aisha, while returning with the Prophet from a campaign, withdrew to a (?) place to relieve herself. Meanwhile the caravan passes on and leaves.
They think our mother Aisha is inside that (?), inside the canopy, they think. They carry it off. The person gathering up behind, who (?) the surroundings, comes across our mother Aisha. When the situation is explained to our mother Aisha, he brings our mother Aisha back to the caravan. Thereupon, claiming she committed adultery with that person, may Allah protect us, they slander her. That is the essence of it. The verse (?) like this. As for the slander against our mother Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), their slandering our mother: by saying a group from among you, the hypocrites are meant.
The hypocrites get an opportunity. At this opportunity the hypocrites immediately raise an uproar. Like whom?
Like the traitors to the homeland who are among us right now. Yes. Some of the Muslims, too, passing an event they did not see from mouth to mouth among each other, becomes a cause of sin for them. Allah Almighty: yourselves, do not think it is something bad for yourselves. That is, do not think you have sinned by feeling guilty because of a slander. We know the inner side of the matter, He says, Allah Almighty. Yes. We know the inner side of the matter. Indeed, the Prophet (peace be upon him), regarding our mother Aisha, said: Until a verse comes from Allah Almighty, she is separate from me. I too know you did not do such a thing, but we have no proof.
That is why she is separate from me, he said.
She stayed at the house of her father, Abu Bakr.
Yes. Allah Almighty says to the Prophet and his family: O Prophet, this slander made against you, do not think it is something bad for yourselves. That is, do not think you have sinned by feeling guilty because of this slander. We know the inner side of the matter, He says. As a result of this slander against you, because of your patience and your awaiting a verse from Allah, it is a good and a reward for you. We will increase your rewards. And those who started this strife, We will be witness against them. Punishing them as they deserve, as a lesson for all, We will make them a sign to the worlds, He says.
Yes.
Isn't it the same with traitors to the homeland? Doesn't history write it in time? History writes. That is the lesson for all.
From this verse it is understood that for each person among them, whatever sin he committed, there is a punishment in return. And for the one among them who was the ringleader and bore the magnitude of this sin, there is a very great punishment. By saying this, it declares that those among the Muslims who followed the hypocrites, for the sins they committed through the slander they fabricated about our mother Aisha, will receive a punishment in return. As for the hypocrites, it states that in the Hereafter, all alone, with no one, they will incur Allah's wrath and be in Hell forever.
The verse saying: And for the one among them who was the ringleader and bore the magnitude of this sin, there is a very great punishment; the meaning of the magnitude of this sin: it makes known that the sins the Muslims bore are less compared to the hypocrites, that unknowingly they fell victim to this slander, but that every soul will be called to account for what it did, and that in the end they will be forgiven. When it says the greatest of sins: going even beyond those who deny Allah and associate partners with Allah, those who appear to be Muslim, those who show hostility to Islam, who in fact do not believe in Allah and the prophets and stir up strife within Islam, these people are the hypocrites.
In eternal Hell, the greatest of punishments is theirs.
Let me read this sentence once more; we are living this part in our time. These are words for our time. What does it say? The meaning of the magnitude of this sin: that the sins the Muslims bore are less compared to the hypocrites. You know how some people get caught up in perception operations, the poor souls, without realizing it. They are sinners too. But not compared to the hypocrites, not compared to those who do it consciously. They will be forgiven at some point, but of course they will suffer their punishment. Because they followed them, they too will suffer a punishment. So (?) now: of the homeland, of the nation, the unity and togetherness, the well-being, the defense of Islam this state carries out; against its laws, against every single law, those who betray the homeland in every way, who oppose Islam at every turn, who, to stir up trouble, find support from foreign powers and do as they please, people. These.
These are the people of our time. The same time. An endless cycle. What does it say?
The meaning of the magnitude of this sin: that the sins the Muslims bore are less compared to the hypocrites, that unknowingly they fell victim to this slander, but that every soul will be called to account for what it did, and that in the end they will be forgiven, that is, that those who went along unknowingly will be forgiven, but they will suffer their punishment.
It makes known that they will be forgiven. When it says the greatest of sins: going even beyond denying Allah and associating partners with Allah, those who appear to be Muslim, those who show hostility to Islam, people, those who show hostility to Islam, people who in fact do not believe in Allah and the prophets and stir up strife within Islam, these are the hypocrites. In eternal Hell, in Hell, the greatest of punishments is theirs. Indeed, in this verse Allah Almighty: the greatest of punishments is theirs. By saying this, He makes known that they will be in Hell forever and that the severest of punishments will be applied to the hypocrites.
Up to this time, for years, all around our borders Muslim blood has been shed incessantly. While non-Muslims watch it with pleasure, and Muslim people, their hearts burning, unable to do anything, live grieving over it, in the face of this, Allah Almighty has sent us a savior. There is a savior. So, to remove this savior, all the states of the world have turned on Turkey with full force. With every kind of conduct and action, with perception operations, with killing innocent people,
with a blow to the economy, with money (?), playing games, the non-Muslim crusader armies bent on finishing Turkey have risen from the grave.
In this situation, among ourselves we see it. (?) they tear into each other so that laws are not passed. And then they speak without shame. A person would be ashamed to speak. Yes. Would be ashamed to speak. If a person has a bit of honor, of course. Yes.
We wish that these people, our own people, would come to their senses, reform themselves and stand up for the homeland.
Receiving 343 votes, the deputies who gave the deputies' votes, against 113 people, none, of the 343 people who voted, 10 articles were voted on, for none of them did anyone vote outside these 343. So it doesn't go up. Even if you paint the homeland in gold, I don't want you, and your gold I don't want either, nor your homeland; other than making you a slave to the non-Muslims, I have no intention, the man says.
Yes.
Unbelievable. He eats this homeland's bread. But this is astonishing too. The same slanders. Endless slander, endless slander, endless slander.
We are telling the incident.
This incident took place as follows. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) set out on a military campaign, our mother Aisha also took part in this campaign. As the Prophet (peace be upon him) was returning from this campaign, when our mother Aisha withdrew to one side to relieve herself, she dropped her necklace there; when she came to the place where they were resting, our mother Aisha noticed she had dropped her necklace and went back to the place where she had relieved herself. Meanwhile the army had gathered, and they thought our mother Aisha was inside the howdah on the camel. This object called a howdah is closed, round and domed on top.
Like a woven cage, from inside one can see out, from outside one cannot see in; it is a seat. So when they move off together, thinking our mother Aisha is inside the howdah, they set off. Meanwhile our mother Aisha stays at the place where she relieved herself to look for her necklace. A man tasked with following the unit from behind takes our mother Aisha and brings her to the unit. In this unit, several hypocrites, among them Abdullah ibn Ubayy, one of the leading hypocrites, seizing on this incident, fabricate the slander that between our mother Aisha and the man who brought her to the unit there was a relationship.
This slander grieved the Prophet (peace be upon him) greatly. Our mother Aisha, who was ill at that time, after a while, when she learned that she had fallen victim to such a slander, fell into great anguish. From then on she prefers to go to her family, grieving like her, to the house of her father Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and stay there. Yes.
Meanwhile the Prophet from time to time goes to Abu Bakr's house and asks them about the health and well-being of our mother Aisha. And during one such visit, about a month after the slander occurred, this verse expressing our mother Aisha's innocence came.
