An-Nur 13: And weren’t they (the slanderers) supposed to bring four witnesses in this matter? Since they couldn’t bring witnesses, they are liars themselves in the sight of Allah.

Translation

And weren’t they (the slanderers) supposed to bring four witnesses in this matter? Since they couldn’t bring witnesses, they are liars themselves in the sight of Allah.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) continues to prove the innocence of Hazrat 'A'isha. They, that is, these hypocrites; those who made this slander to defame people, people with black conscience and cruel people, should not have brought four witnesses. It is easy to slander and defame a person. But should not the hypocrites, whose souls have not been perfected or who have denied Allah and the Hereafter and who appear on both sides for their own interests, have ignored them, regardless of what they say, in order to stir up trouble, excluding them, when they cannot show their witnesses and proofs? Since they could not bring these witnesses. Then are they not liars themselves? Because they did not recognize Allah as Allah and disbelieved in Him when they made a covenant with Allah (swt) in Kalu Bela. They denied Allah, even though the intellect in our souls, which we call the intellect maad, knows Allah and that it was created by Allah. So they are liars at the root. In this respect they are liars.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nur, the 13th verse. Should they, the slanderers, not have brought four witnesses on this, it says. Come on, bring four witnesses. Should they not have? Because we already covered the witnesses earlier. Since they could not bring the witnesses, then in the sight of Allah they are the liars themselves, it says. How beautifully it puts it. If there are no witnesses, they are the liars themselves in the sight of Allah.

Allah Almighty continues to prove the innocence of our mother Aisha. They, that is, these hypocrites who smear people, are people with dark consciences and cruel people. Should those who made this slander not have brought four witnesses? It is easy to smear a person and stain them. People, regarding hypocrites whose nafs has not matured, or who have thus denied Allah and the Hereafter, and who for their interests are seen on both sides, and the words they say to stir up trouble, without heeding those words, (?) them, given that they showed no witness or proof, should they not have ignored them?

Since they could not bring these witnesses, are they not the liars themselves? Because when they made the covenant with Allah Almighty at Kalu Bela, they did not recognize Allah as Allah and denied Him. Although the intellect in our souls that we call akl-ı maad knows Allah and that it was created by one Allah, they belied Allah; so they are liars at the root. In this respect too, they are the liars themselves. Yes.
