Translation

On that Day, when their tongues and feet will testify against them for what they have been doing.

Tafsir

With these Verses, Allah (swt) declares to people who deny the resurrection after death that He will resurrect people in the Hereafter, the world beyond death, and will hold them to account.

That is to say, Allah, Who is the All-knowing Creator, will resurrect our bodies in the Hereafter after we die and hold them to account. Allah, who is able to make our mouths speak, will make our hands speak and testify about our souls.

Bodies are a trust from Allah to human beings. One of the verses says: "I will hold you to account for the way in which you use the bodies I have given you".

In the Hereafter, people's souls and bodies will be compared. There is a verse about this (when the souls are paired). Since our bodies are identical to our souls, Allah says: "When the souls are mated".

So when the soul and the body meet, our soul will not enter the body as it does in the world. The reason why the soul will not enter the body is so that it will not influence the body and make it speak in its favor. On the Day of Reckoning, He will tell us what our bodies have done on earth.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 24 of Surah An-Nur. On that day, against them, their tongues and their feet will bear witness to what they have done, it says. What is that day? The Day of Judgment will come. People will be resurrected again. When you come into My presence with a driver, in the presence of Allah Almighty, at the Great Tribunal, We will silence your mouths, bind your feet, and make your hands speak, it says. So our body will bear witness against our soul. And our soul (?) will say: Why are you bearing witness against me? Exactly. Like two people facing each other; there is no more entering one another.

The soul will not enter the body as in this world. Because the soul, being strong, makes the body speak in its own favor. In that case, you know how it says, when souls are paired, when they come face to face, it says: Allah, who makes me speak, is speaking. After the testimony is over, you are returned to the One who first created you, says the body. And We resurrect you twice and cause you to die twice. According to this verse, the body dies a second time there. Since our bodies are created from earth, again earth, like a rag in the world it will be rolled up and thrown into Hell.

But those bound by (?) cannot grasp this, this point.

Why would the body go to Hell? They will enter Paradise with bodies. And they will make a lake at the gate of Paradise. They will be cleansed in the lake and then go inside. That is how, you know, the angels say: Today you have come completely pure. Allah (?).

Now, when they say it like that, it reminds me of the verse of Allah Almighty: coming to the House of Allah, performing tawaf, doing the sa'y between Safa and Marwa, and after praying two rak'ahs (?) at the Station of Abraham, it says, you are as pure as if newly born from your mother, it says. Now, when we are just born from our mother, they wash us, don't they? We are cleaned (?), here and there. So I wonder, is there a lake in Mecca where they clean us? (?) that our Lord purifies us of our sins and, increasing us through our good deeds, sends us to Paradise completely pure; they erase one another. In Paradise there is no garb of the body.

There is no matter there. It is all luminous there. Luminous. Yes.
