On that day, Allah will give them the complete punishment that they deserve. And they will know that certainly, Allah is the clear Truth.
Tafsir
When Allah (swt) resurrects the bodies of all human beings, those who denied Allah (swt) and the resurrection after death, those who denied the Hereafter and the Day of Reckoning, when they see themselves being resurrected on the Day of Judgment, then they will realize that Allah (swt) is the truth and that what the Prophets called them to the truth in this world was the truth. They will also disbelieve in the Hereafter. But Allah will keep our bodies as witnesses against our souls. Also, our whole life will be shown to us like a movie, and there will be no escape. Then Allah will fully punish those who disbelieve in Him and say that there is no resurrection after death.
The meaning of complete here is that Allah (swt) has no feelings for these people who deny His Essence. Because Allah is complete and perfect. He does not give anyone more than they deserve. (Fa man ya'mel miskala zerratin fan yerah. And men ya'mel miskâle zerratin sharran yerah) The verse says that every miskal particle of good you have done will be written down and every miskal particle of evil you have done will also be written down. In another verse, He says, "What everyone earns is the reward of his own two hands". Accordingly, what everyone earns will be given to him in full, without injustice to anyone.
Allah does not wrong any soul. All souls wrong themselves. Those who disbelieve in Allah and the Hereafter will have their recompense fully meted out to them on condition that they will spend eternity in Hell.
Because no one can be as faithful to his covenant as Allah (swt). When people are in the world, Allah (swt) addresses them through the Prophets. Do not deny Allah and the Last Day. Recognize Allah as One and worship Him, but people turned away from Allah. They followed Satan, the enemy of Allah and the human soul. They denied the Hereafter for the sake of temporary worldly benefits. On the Day of Reckoning, they will see that Allah's promise is true, and they will see that Allah is true, even in the obvious. But because their denial of Allah in their own souls has not been perfected, their denial of Allah will remain in their hearts as a seed of hatred, even though they see that Allah is the manifest truth. They will never be able to remove this seed of hatred from their hearts and fully recognize Allah as Allah. Even there, in the face of such truths, they will still be waiting for Allah, the one they have imagined in their minds, and they will think of taking revenge on Allah, the only One who created them and the worlds. In this state, these people will remain in Hell for eternity because their souls are not perfected.
What is said in the video
We left off at verse 25 of Surah An-Nur. If Allah grants it, tonight we will continue from here to (?) for you, inshallah. Verse 25: On that day Allah will pay them in full the punishment they deserve, it says. What day is this?
As just said: at the Resurrection the Great Tribunal will be set up, people will be resurrected again, (?) when the one whose turn has come goes forth to give account in the presence of Allah Almighty, on that day, according to His verse saying judgment belongs to Allah alone, Allah Almighty will give them the punishments they deserve. What does He also say in a verse? Today, without injustice being done to anyone, what everyone has earned will be given to him in full as the return of his two hands, it says. Yes, there is no doubt that Allah is the manifest Truth, it says. Because there is no other god besides Him who could, in His place, or a partner in His place, call people to account. There is no god but Allah.
When Allah Almighty resurrects all people's bodies again, when people in this world, for a certain time, have continued their lives, when they come before our Lord with the good deeds and sins they have done, when they are resurrected on that Day of Resurrection, when they are resurrected after death, those who claimed there is no resurrection, those who deny the Hereafter and that Day of Reckoning, when they see on the Day of Resurrection that they have been raised again, then they will understand that Allah is the Truth, and that the prophets calling them to the truth in this world was true. You know, there are those who say: who has gone to the Hereafter and come back?
Aren't there? There are. Who is one of them? One of my wife's relatives. He says: who has gone and come back? No one, once he has passed from this world to the Hereafter, will come back. Why? Because, it says, if We sent you to the world not several times but several more times, you would do the same thing again. So there is no coming to the world again.
Man did not come into being by himself. No created thing came into being by itself either. Now if I said this (?) came into being by itself, would you believe it? It has a maker. So the creation of this whole universe, which did not come from human hands, also has a maker. And that is Allah. That is, our Lord who created the worlds. In that case, when people are resurrected in the Hereafter, at that time: Alas, what we were told was true, they will say. This is what they call the truth. They will confess. It was true. Despite knowing this truth, within those characters that are in them, people will still not know that Allah, who is the Truth, is Allah. They will wait for the Lord of their imagination.
In that case, what does Allah Almighty say to them anyway? They will not be able to see their Lord. Because there is no other god besides Allah, so that they would see the One who created the worlds. So in this case, since people do not really know the meanings of the verses, in this verse, they will not be able to see their Lord, they cite as evidence that non-Muslims will be gathered blind. Some, well, some say that in Paradise one will probably see Allah like this. Yet when He says they will not see their Lord, what, which verse does it confirm? Tawhid. Because there is no other god besides Allah for them to wait for the Lord of their imagination.
Which other verse does it support?
My beloved, I say, do not mind their denying you; in their time they also betrayed Me, it says. They denied Me too. With what? Because our Lord resembled them in form, because in human form to them He manifested, manifested to us, out of their pride and arrogance they did not recognize Allah as Allah. They waited for the Lord of their imagination. So in the verse, it says: if We (?) in the clouds with the angels, We would make them prostrate, it says. Yes.
But Allah will (?) our bodies against our souls. Moreover, our whole life will be shown to us like a film strip. We will have no way left to escape. Then Allah will pay those who deny His Being and say there is no resurrection after death their punishments in full. What does He mean by in full? Today, without injustice being done to anyone, what everyone has earned will be given to him as the return of his own two hands. The counterpart of that verse. The verses always confirm one another anyway.
Yes.
The meaning of in full here is that Allah Almighty, toward these people who deny His Being, is not carried away by emotions. That is, Allah Almighty is not carried away by emotions over the actions people have done. Within His own will and His own wisdom, within His judgment, He will settle everyone's judgment with justice. Because Allah is complete and perfect. He gives no one more than they deserve. Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerretin hayran yerah. Ve men ya'mel miskâle zerretin şerran yerah. With this verse He declares that the atom's weight of good you have done is written, and that the atom's weight of evil you have done is written too.
In another verse, what everyone earns is the return of his own two hands, He declares. Accordingly, without injustice being done to anyone, what everyone has earned will be given to him in full. Allah Almighty does no injustice to any soul. All souls, those who wrong themselves, so the punishments of those who deny Allah and the Hereafter, in full, on condition of their being eternally in Hell, are given to them. Allah Almighty wrongs no one. You wrong your own souls, He says. If Allah Almighty who created us, our Lord who created the worlds, has brought us into this world, has given us our food, our drink, every kind of sustenance, has set His laws before us, then, against our being rebellious to our (?), He does not treat us according to His own state or His will, with His anger, with harshness.
According to the accounts corresponding to the (?) we have done, He settles our account. If we have done good, because He loves us, He increases our good and gives it. If we have done evil, in return for our evil, He writes one sin. He gives its recompense accordingly. Yes. Allah Almighty does no injustice to any soul. All souls wrong themselves. So the punishments of those who deny Allah and the Hereafter, in full, on condition of their being eternally in Hell, are given to them. Of course: if you deny Allah, if you deny the One who created you, if you do not recognize Him, Allah will not recognize you either.
What does He do? He leaves you subject to the eternal life of Hell. In that case, after they have suffered there for many thousands of years, Allah Almighty will bring them to a state where they neither feel nor taste. Again, the mercy of our Lord to him; now, when He says many thousands of years there, whether He means that realm or speaks according to this realm, I do not know. Well, presumably, since this realm no longer exists, He says it according to that realm, many thousands of years. When you remove a person's nerve sensations, what does he do? When you inject morphine and numb the nerves, even if I cut and (?), you don't feel it.
So Allah Almighty too will remove their nerve sensations. So there they will burn on as eternal logs of Hell. Since there is no death for souls, they will now remain as the eternal permanent residents of that place. May Allah protect us, all of us, from such a punishment. Because no one can be as faithful to his covenant as Allah Almighty, as Allah Almighty. What does Allah Almighty say? Who is as faithful to his covenant as Allah? Allah Almighty, while people are in this world, through the prophets calls to them: Do not deny Allah and the Last Day. Although He says: Know Allah as one and worship Him, people turned away from Allah. They followed Satan, who is an enemy to Allah and to the human self.
For temporary worldly gain they denied the Hereafter. On that Day of Reckoning they will see that Allah's promise is true, and in a manifest way they will see that Allah is the Truth. But since, with the denial of Allah in their own selves, they have not reached perfection, although they see that Allah is manifestly the Truth, their denial of Allah will remain in their hearts as a seed of hatred. Never will they cast this seed of hatred from their hearts and recognize Allah fully as Allah. Even there, even there, in the face of so many truths, still waiting for the Allah they imagined in their minds, they will think of taking revenge on Allah, the One who created them and the worlds.
So these people, in this state too, because their selves have not reached perfection, will remain eternally in Hell. What does it even say? O Malik, tell your Lord to lighten the punishment on us a little. They cannot say it to our Lord. If he said it to our Lord, if he knew Allah as the Truth, Allah is not unjust, that He would leave them in eternal Hell. Even though they suffer so much punishment there, the more they see the punishment, the more their hatred of Allah will increase. Since in their imagination they wait for another Allah who supposedly created them: he will come, he will save them, and they will take revenge on Allah.
Yes. May Allah protect people from such a feeling too.
