Translation

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.

Tafsir

Praise be to Allah, Who created us out of nothing, provided us with all kinds of sustenance and created us in a proper way.

Praise be to Allah (swt) who gave us His spirit, did not separate us from His Essence, and made us address His Essence and sent down His Word to mankind.

Praise be to Allah (swt) who created human beings in the most beautiful way, whom He called (lekad halâknel insane fi ahseni takvim), whom He created as the equal of all created beings, whom He made the caliph of the earth by placing His creations in the service of human beings in the realm of property.

Praise be to Allah, Who has presented the Holy Qur'an to mankind with honor and glory, calling them to guidance and perfecting the human soul with the religion of Islam.

What is said in the video

Yes, now we move on to Surah Al-Fatiha. Its second verse. Elhamdülillahi Rabbil Alemin. What does this mean? Praise and peace are to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Praise and peace.

We have explained it: Who created us from nothing, Who provides all our sustenance and created us in a fine form — to Allah Almighty be praise. These are meaningful.

When we say "Who created us in a fine form," we say it because of what our Lord gave to man — (?), because of His spirit.

Who created in a fine form. When we say "Who provides our sustenance," (?) according to the verse: it is Allah who gives sustenance.

So: His creating us from nothing, His providing every kind of sustenance, His creating us in a fine form, that is, both His addressing us Himself, His giving us a part of His spirit, and His making us vicegerent of the earth — and for this, praise and glorification to Allah Almighty has been offered. Praise be to the Lord of the worlds. Because of this. In the second we already explained this: Who, giving us of His spirit, does not separate us from Himself, Who addresses us Himself and sent His Word down to people — praise be to Allah Almighty. How beautiful. No created being, see? has been given this.

No created being, see? What a great honour this is. What was it? Who, giving us of His spirit, does not separate us from Himself, Who addresses us Himself and sent His Word down to people — praise be to Allah Almighty. So, the best of creatures, the noblest of creation. Lekad halaknel insâne fî ahseni takvîm. I created man in the finest form. People's — people, again. Elhamdülillahi Rabbil alemin: praise be to the Lord of the worlds. Creating people in the finest way, as He said, creating them as the noblest of creation, placing what He created in the material world at people's service and making them the vicegerent of the earth — praise be to Allah Almighty.

Yes. Always with verses, to our Lord, we offer praise and glorification. Again, praise be to the Lord of the worlds, Who, presenting the Holy Quran with honour and dignity to people, calls them to guidance, and brings the human nafs to perfection with the religion of Islam — praise be to Allah Almighty. The human nafs. Brings it to perfection with the religion of Islam. And Who invites man to Himself, gives man free will and gives him great worth, and leads that person to the ability to know his Lord by his own will, and that person's — the great worth given to him within that will, the ability, with that worth, to know his Lord.

This has been given to none of the created beings. Only the jinn have it, and man. But since the jinn have no spirit, the jinn are not as honoured as humans. So, by presenting the religion of Islam to people, Allah Almighty, addressing people era by era according to their minds, always addresses them within the fitrah of Islam, and so, people who do not enter the religion of Islam — whose nafs does not reach perfection, and of whom Allah Almighty says in a verse "their hearts are restless and scattered" — they can never reach perfection.

Yes. Well, because Allah Almighty loves people so much, because He gave them the greatest worth, He leaves them free in their own will and holds a light before them. He sends leaders. He gives life. If people still turn their backs on these out of stubbornness and arrogance, it is what they earned themselves, the return of their own two hands. So, for the person who knows his Lord: O Allah, praise and glory be to You. What do we say? He presented the Holy Quran to people with honour and dignity. That is: I was helpless. You created my mind imperfect. You sent me a book with a prophet. With these books You made Your command known.

You lit up my paths for me. You saved me from the swamps, O Allah. Praise and glory be to You, we say. Yes.

Responsible for what he does.

Back to our lesson. Who, presenting the Holy Quran to people with honour and dignity, calls them to guidance and brings the human nafs to perfection with the religion of Islam — praise be to Allah Almighty, we say. Yes.
