Yunus 39: To the contrary, they denied that (Qur’an) whose knowledge they did not comprehend and whose interpretation never reached them. The ones before them also denied as such. Now see how the end of the oppressors is.

(?). Did you understand, Taka? I hope it has been understood, God willing. Yes. We left off at verse 39 of Surah Yunus.

Allah Almighty in His verse: Rather, they denied that whose knowledge they could not grasp and whose interpretation has never come to them — the Quran. Who are these? The polytheists, the idol-worshippers, efendim, the hypocrites. Those before them likewise denied; now see how the end of the wrongdoers was, Allah Almighty says; of the wrongdoers how the end was. However much We waited patiently, He says, showed them miracles in the world to prove Our being, even though they still called the prophets sent to them sorcerers, We, because they exceeded the limits, destroyed them. So see how the end of the wrongdoers was, He says.

That is, He tells us with His verses that He destroyed them. Whom did He destroy? The people of Ad, the people of Thamud, the people of Lot, the people of Noah. Efendim, Allah Almighty wiped them off the face of the earth. Pharaoh too met his end in the Red Sea. In this case, although Allah Almighty is not openly, outwardly seen, among people He makes His existence felt, and felt so strongly that, more strongly than the person in front of you you see, Allah Almighty with miracles anyway proves it to people. Here too: rather, they could not grasp its knowledge, that is, they could not grasp the knowledge of the Holy Quran.

Why could they not grasp it? Did He create their minds deficient? That is, did Allah discriminate between His servants? In this case the Muslims grasped it and the unbelievers could not. That is, if Allah is just, why did He not create them well too, if you say — this goes back to the world of Lahut, where the spirits were created, to that Alastu (?) address. Since Allah Almighty gave people a part of His spirit and created people close to His being, when He said ‘I am your Lord’, at that Alastu (?) address, people saw Allah Almighty as like His own being — as like themselves they saw Him — so they could not believe in Allah; they waited for the Lord of their fantasies.

Since their desires, wishes and aims are their destiny, in this case they, with their own desires and wishes, closed off their knowledge of the truth themselves. What does Allah Almighty say in another verse too?

They are blind toward the truth, again their ears are stopped toward the truth; in this case their hearts are sealed. They are only like the shepherd's animals, He says. Allah Almighty gives an example in His verse. Those animals, He says, hear the shepherd's shouting.

Now see how the end of the wrongdoers was, He says. What is this end of the wrongdoers? Those who go outside Allah Almighty's sharia, His rulings. Outside. Especially those who ask their prophets for a miracle and then do not believe this miracle, and still call it magic — Allah Almighty exactly brings a public case against them and destroys them. For example, Salih's people say: let him bring out a camel for us, a camel, a yellow camel, let him bring a camel out of the rock, they say. Allah Almighty brings out a camel according to their desires and wishes. In this case, in this case they still do not believe. When they kill the camel, Allah Almighty destroys them.

They denied Hz. Noah. Hz. Noah lived among them for 960 years. Still, having been advised from father to child: this man does not die. We have been advised by our father's father's father. Don't listen to what he says, they say. In this case, at last left helpless, Hz. Lot prays. My Lord, my people have denied me. When he says, separate us, Allah Almighty has a ship built. And those who do not believe He destroys there. To Hz. Lot's people too: He sends Lot (peace be upon him). To these people, homosexuals who exceeded the limits of morality, when advice did not (?), He destroys them too. In this case, Allah Almighty does not hold anyone responsible for what He has not made known.

So see, He says, how the end of those wrongdoers was. If in this age, in this age Allah Almighty does not destroy — and there are many who push hard at Allah's limits. For example, there are those who marry their own sex. Their own sex. In short, there are those who do things the mind cannot accept, baser than animals would do . In this case, Allah Almighty — since the Prophet, to perfect beautiful morals, the Prophet (peace be upon him) whom He sent, Ve mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn — He sent as a mercy to the worlds, and he too is alive among us, for his sake He lifted the destructions. Each year, to those non-Muslims and those who thus exceed Allah's limits, He gives two or three calamities, two or three calamities: tsunami waves, earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, hurricanes, fires — Allah Almighty gives them two or three calamities a year, so that, He says, at least they would return to the truth, He says, remember Allah.

Yes, in this case.

So if people who live far from Allah, in the face of these calamities, still do not come to their senses, these — not returned once, not returned three times — even if returned from the hereafter a million times, would do the same thing again.

Some of those unbelieving peoples, pushing at Allah's limits, because they overstepped the bounds, Allah destroyed such wrongdoing communities from the earth.

The peoples He destroyed — as their turn comes, Allah with His verses reminds us of them. We too wanted to remind you by listing a few of the destroyed peoples. Among them the people of Noah, the people of Lot, the people of Thamud, the people of (?). The people of the Sabbath. That is, the people of Saturday. From the Children of Israel; Allah Almighty, to test them: you shall not fish on Saturday. Other days are free, He says. On the forbidden day the sea fills with fish. (?) they cannot fish. On the other days there are no fish in the sea.

According to one report, the accursed one takes on human form. He says to them: shall I give you an idea? Go ahead, they say. For fishing on Saturday, build a breakwater, a breakwater. When the fish fill in here on Saturday, close the gates of the breakwater, and fish on the other days, he says. They like this idea, they like it. They start building the breakwater. Their priests and rabbis tell them: what you are doing is an evil trick. This is a sin in Allah's sight. Give it up. This is a test upon you. Despite this, they, without giving up their view, build the breakwater. While they build the breakwater, the priests build a wall between themselves and them.

And every week they come and advise them. Upon this, one of them says: don't you have anything else to do? These people don't listen to you anyway. Why do you advise these people who won't listen? he says. Their answer is exactly this — the priests'. Perhaps Allah will send a calamity. So that we are not (?) in that calamity, we want to fulfil our duty. Allah saves the people who fulfil their duty, he says. In this case they complete their breakwater. The priests too complete the wall between themselves. Meanwhile, on Saturday the fish fill in. They start fishing (?). They live three more days.

Allah Almighty changes their forms into apes. Into apes. When their priests come to the city to advise them, they see apes in the city wandering about. Tears flow from the apes' eyes. So that irreligious, faithless Darwin, who says there is no God, in his heart Allah's storms blowing — that enemy of Allah, Darwin, by saying man comes from the ape, brings Allah's miraculous event to light. Man's skeleton, he says, is the same as the ape's skeleton. In this case, by bringing out the miracle of the Holy Quran, still he himself writhes in (?). Because Allah's word weighs on his heart; to belittle Allah's word, though he (?) every effort he could, though Allah struck the truths on his head like a sledgehammer, still, by his not returning, not returning to the truth.

So these, in the flaming fires of Hell itself, that Hell's flames, He says, (?); these, amid that flaming fire, bound to (?), will receive the severest punishment, He says, Allah Almighty. Let there be no rebellion against Allah in a person's heart.

There is no returning to the truth for these. If in (?) they have those characters of denying Allah.

Great peoples He wiped off the earth; so the end of the wrongdoers is, in this world, their being cut off at the roots and destroyed, and in the world of the hereafter the punishment of eternal Hell. Eternal, endless.

There is no death for spirits. For spirits. Some people who do not know themselves, who pass themselves off as scholars, who set up Islamic sites, who put a spirit into cats, dogs and nature, acting in a way incompatible with Islam, misleading people on websites — the spirit is only in man. For this reason man is the noblest of creation in the world. And He says: I created man in the most beautiful form. And Allah Almighty addresses man anyway. People unaware of the spirit, who put the spirit into cats, dogs, animals, (?), into nature, people, poor people who say the spirit is Gabriel, that the whole spirit is Allah Almighty, that from a part of it to Hz.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) He gave, that from his spirit He created the spirits of the prophets, and from the prophets' spirits the peoples' spirits He created, sending the prophets as the elders and fathers of their peoples, and that in the universe only man has a spirit; in this case, that spirit, nafs and life are one, that the bodies are separate, that death is upon the bodies, and spirit, nafs and life pass as one to the hereafter — poor people who do not know this; with these bodies putting people into Paradise and Hell, those (?)-brained people.

Yes.

I speak insultingly so that perhaps they will sober up a bit; politely

if we speak, ‘this man too speaks like this,’ they say; but ‘he speaks insultingly, to all of them at once’ — if we insult wholesale the people who think this way: ‘look at the audacity of this man, if this were not the truth he could not speak like this’ — and perhaps they find the truth. Yes.
