Yunus 71: Recite to them the news about Noah. He said to his people, “oh my people! If it weighs hard on you that I stay (among you) and remind you of Allah’s verses, I only trust and depend on Allah. And you can meet with your partners and determine what you will be doing, so that you won’t be troubled by it afterwards. After this, carry out your judgment on me and don’t give me any notice.

Recite to them the news about Noah.
Tafsir
Although Hadrat Noah lived among his people for many years, none of them believed in Hadrat Noah except a few people. Allah (swt) ordered Noah to build an ark and take on board a couple of believers and a couple from the creatures. With this revelation, Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him) realized that Allah's wrath was upon his people, and he addressed his people and said: "O my people! If it is too much for you for me to stand among you and recite the Verses of Allah to you, I rely on Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and trust in Him alone. Whatever partners you have, including yourselves, put your heads together. Gather together and decide what you will do to me. Then let not what you have decided upon be a calamity to you, and Allah's wrath will come upon them.
(Whatever judgment you give after this, apply it to me and do not give me any respite) means that no one can overturn Allah's command. In this case, Allah (swt) told Noah to build a ship and take a pair from every creature with those who believe in you; since he realized that no one among his people could do anything to Noah (peace be upon him), he became proud of his Lord against his people and entrusted them with the truth again. He again addressed those of his people who did not believe in him, warning them that they could do nothing against Allah and calling them to salvation.
What is said in the video
Surah Yunus, verse 71. "Recite to them the news of Noah."
Like this, a word of the verses moves a person very much. Probably, if it is lived - to the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Recite to them the news of Noah." O My Beloved, you were not in Noah's time. You did not know what happened there either. By revelation, making you live that time, I am telling it to you. You too recite it to people. Look at Allah's existence. Just as we live intertwined with people, a person lives within these feelings. What does it say? "Recite to them the news of Noah." Recite. That is, I am revealing it to you. The Quran is a revelation. Recite it to them. If we are moved this much, then the one who came as a mercy to the worlds, the Prophet (peace be upon him), perhaps sees that time like a mirror.
And what our Lord revealed to him, just as it is, he explains to people along with the verses. What does it say? "When he said to his people - (?) now: O my people, if my staying among you and my reminding you of Allah's verses has become heavy for you" - for the verses address every era. Every era. Now it is nine o'clock. What I will say, what I will say - don't say again: this man is praising himself. Erase that from your minds. When we too explain to Muslims through the essence of the verses, we are called charlatans and deviants.
Saying words is very easy. But he says it without any proof in his hand. We, however, explain the truth to them by showing verses with verses, with proofs. The truth. If we explained it to an unbeliever, we would not grieve so much. If we explained it to a non-Muslim. Perhaps that non-Muslim, as much as that Muslim does, perhaps would not even insult us. Just think what state the Muslim has come to: he has absorbed the verses through superstitions into his mind, with those superstitions, with that mind, with his false beliefs, he is a Muslim and also tries to stand up against the truth. The reason? The reason: the people at their head have instilled mindsets in them.
Mindsets. Not according to the verses, but according to mindsets, they interpret the verses. These are the ones who wrong their own nafs, and the people who brought Islam to this state.
They have split into factions. Within their own mindsets they have made the verses fit their mindsets. And their students, so to speak, have had their own reason mortgaged to their teacher's reason. And now he has become a satellite.
He has drifted away from using his reason. Because they have washed their brains.
And they have exploited them in conscience. And spiritually they exploited them. And materially they exploited them. Under a certain discipline, in the manner of 'the teacher is not to be questioned', in the manner of going to them with salawat, going to falsehood with salawat, by getting appointments, putting themselves forward as leaders, those who would take an alif for a beam have poisoned people this way. I tell all my Muslim brothers to use their reason. Use your reason.
"When he said to his people: O people, if my staying among you and my reminding you of Allah's verses has become heavy for you," it says. My explaining the truth to these people is heavy too. My conveying these verses to them weighs on them. Heavy. It weighs very heavily. The reason it weighs heavily is, first, the ego. The ego. Second, with the fame and pride that ego gives, 'we are finished,' they say. 'We are finished. What shall we do?' Well, why did you learn this? You learned it to come closer to Allah. You learned it to earn Allah's pleasure. You saw the truth. You saw that it ended in falsehood.
Why do you not turn to the truth? You cannot turn. Because your life is coming to an end. You are resetting yourself to zero. Your will is running out. Yet man is (?). He will use his will, casting off falsehoods from himself one by one, being bound by the verses, on Allah's path (?), on the way of His friends, with resolve, the day he meets his Lord he will await. This is what man is. Knowing his shortcoming, cleansing himself of errors, cleansing himself of falsehoods, being bound by the truth. Yes. Let Allah's word not be heavy for you. Allah's word gives a person life. It gives peace.
Look what Allah Almighty says in a verse: when Muslims and non-Muslims fought in war, some Muslim sides suffered hardship. Allah Almighty tells them in such a beautiful verse: Just as you suffered torment, they too suffered in their time. But, it says, they have no one to rely on. You, however, have a Lord to rely on, it says. Yes. And that assurance gives a person peace, the strength and resolve that peace gives (?) a person. That is the Muslim. That is will. That is resolve. That is using one's reason too.
Who explains the verses and says use your reason? Who explains by drawing analogies? They are all after (?). After Ahmet, after Mehmet. He did it this way, he did it that way. By telling about him, he himself became a great scholar.
May Allah reform us.
"O my people, if my staying among you and my reminding you of Allah's verses has become heavy for you, I rely and trust in Allah alone." Yes.
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim Fe in tevellev fe kul hasbiyallâhu lâ ilâhe illâ hû, aleyhi tevekkeltü ve hüve rabbü'l-arşi'l-azîm. Even if this world were one more world, even if these people were one more people, even if these created beings were one more creation, if they were on one side, I am still on one side, with my Lord. No one can turn me from Allah's path. I am bound by Allah's verses. The Prophet says so too. Even if the whole world, it says, were on one side, even if all turned their backs on you, say: Allah, Owner of the great Throne of the heavens and the earth, is sufficient for me, He said.
Yes. Even if the whole universe were on one side, opposed me, Allah, Owner of the great Throne of the heavens and the earth, is sufficient for me.
I will go on explaining the verses. I will go on explaining the truth.
God willing, by settling the verses in your minds, and through you too explaining them to people, we will do away with these (?). I believe this, and I believe it strongly, that the people who have been listening to me for some time see how many errors the people they listened to as scholars have and how wrongly they have explained. These are people who have listened for only a short time.
Therefore, strive to be with Allah. Reform your nafs. Deceived by the passing benefits of the world, never compromise on Allah's path.
"Gather together with your partners and decide what you will do. Then let your affair not be a burden upon you." How beautifully it says it. Then may those traps you prepared not become a burden on your heads. May a flood not come from Allah and cut off your roots. "Then carry out on me the judgment you will pass, and give me no respite," it says.
If Allah has given the charge, He is behind His prophet. If Allah has given the charge, since after the Prophet no other prophet will come, He is behind the charged (?). Yes.
Although Noah (peace be upon him) lived among his people for very many years, apart from a few of his people, they did not believe in Noah (peace be upon him). They did not believe.
Among his people, until Noah's flood, he lived 960 years.
Let us read the verse. The verse.
Again.
Let us continue our lesson.
"Recite to them the news of Noah. When he said to his people: O my people, if my staying among you and my reminding you of Allah's verses has become heavy for you, I rely and trust in Allah alone. Gather together with your partners and decide what you will do. Then let your affair not be a burden upon you. Then carry out on me the judgment you will pass, and give me no respite."
Although Noah (peace be upon him) lived among his people for very many years, apart from a few people of his people, no one believed in Noah (peace be upon him). Allah Almighty commands Noah (peace be upon him) to build a ship and to take onto the ship those who believed in him and a pair of each kind of creature.
From father to son they would give advice. The father would advise his son. What would he say? "My son, this man does not die. Don't you ever believe this man's word. Don't believe." he would say.
In this way, that one too would advise his son.
In this situation, Noah prays to Allah Almighty. "O my Lord, I am defeated by my people," he says. That is, "I can no longer get through to them," he says. Thereupon Allah Almighty commands Noah (peace be upon him) to build a ship and to take onto the ship those who believed in him and a pair of each kind of creature. After Adam, the world, after Noah, continues again with its creatures. Noah, who understood this revelation and that Allah's command of wrath had gone out against his people, (peace be upon him), calling out to his people: "O my people, if my staying among you and my reciting Allah's verses to you weighs on you, I rely only on Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and trust in Him.
However many partners you have, including yourselves, put your heads together, all gather and decide what you will do to me. Then may this thing you decided not be a calamity for you": by saying this, that Allah's command of wrath would go out against them, he openly declared.
"After that, carry out on me the judgment you will pass, and give me no respite": his saying this, that the command Allah Almighty gave no one can break; and Allah Almighty saying to Noah "build a ship, with those who believe in you, a pair of every creature", saying "a pair take" - since Noah (peace be upon him) understood that no one among his people could do anything, he now, taking pride in his Lord before his people, explained the truths to them. That all those of his people who did not believe in him could do nothing against Allah, he insistently tried to explain. Yes.
