And for the blasphemers; their deeds are like a mirage in a dry desert, which thirsty ones halucinates to be water. When they arrive, they don’t find any water there but find Allah (Who they denied and didn’t fear). But Allah has seen their account all around. Allah is swift in judgement.
Tafsir
Those who deny Allah (swt). Those who turn their backs on Allah even though they know that Allah is the Truth, those who deny the verse of Allah (inneddine indallahil Islam)! Those who deny the Prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who is the Prophet of Hatemen, even though the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came as a mercy to the worlds! Allah (swt) brings a beautiful parable to their pretense of doing good and good deeds within their own religion and beliefs, within their own ideology. He gives examples in a language that every human being can understand.
The good deeds of those who are outside the religion of Islam, of people who do not accept Islam, are not acceptable in the sight of Allah. (All their good deeds have been in vain.) The equivalent of this verse is that when people are thirsty in the desert and see a mirage, and when they go to the mirage they see, they are disappointed when they realize that they see a dream. He says that they have found Allah beside the mirage that these people saw as water.
They have found Allah near them The meaning of this verse is that Allah wants to say. Allah is aware of whatever movement, desire or wish is happening at any point or in any particle of the universe. Allah (swt) is informing us that what these people did as good deeds was in vain and that He knows the intentions of these people and the feelings of hatred and hatred in their hearts, and Allah (swt) says that Allah (swt) has seen his reckoning completely. On that day, on the Day of Reckoning, he will be all alone with no helper or intercessor. Their deeds of good deeds will have been wasted and they will be fully requited for what they did. In other words, all their good deeds and good deeds were in vain because they disbelieved in Allah, and these people who disbelieved in Allah found Allah against them on the Day of Reckoning. The good deeds they have done have disappeared as a figment of their imagination.
Allah is quick in reckoning. We understand from this verse that a thousand years in this world is like a day in the Hereafter. Man thinks that his life in this world is long. The swampy and dark amusements of the world appear rosy to him and he thinks that the swamp he is immersed in is life. He forgets Allah. However, the life of a human being in this world is but a few hours in the sight of Allah. If man thought that his life was long and he was distancing himself from Allah (swt), but if he knew that he would give an account to Allah (swt) for what he had done in this world, he would realize that his account would be seen quickly.
In addition to people living a long life, the fact that the human life span is only a few hours in the sight of Allah (swt) means that we humans will have a quick reckoning before Allah (swt).
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 39 of Surah An-Nur. As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a desolate desert, which the thirsty one takes for water. That is, pay attention to those who disbelieve; they always live within worlds of fantasy. All their gods and their whole existence are material things and money. There is no deed they would not do for material gain. One cannot even find the notion of family in them. For money. And they are constantly chasing fantasies. Those who live just to live the life of this world have their eyes on property and possessions, and to obtain it they recognize neither Allah nor the Prophet nor the Book.
Only as long as they fear the laws do they stay under the (?) of that fear of their laws. When they see that (?) weaken a little in themselves, there are no schemes they would not pull. Isn't that so? Yes.
The people of faith are not like that. However much evil one does, at some point he fears Allah. Yes. What does it say? As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a desolate desert: a person left without water, going through the desert, when he is about to collapse from thirst, sees something like an oasis ahead, like an oasis. He runs toward it. He looks at the place he reached, and there too is a heap of sand. A desert, that place is a desert too. Because from thirst in the desert it appears to him that way. This is what is called a mirage. Their state is exactly like that mirage.
All their ambitions, the things they do, are empty. This supports the following verse. "All the fine works they did in life have gone to waste," it says. Yes.
The thirsty one takes it for water. At last, when he reaches it, he finds nothing there. Moreover, right beside him, Allah, in whom he did not believe and whom he did not fear, he has found.
Allah is present and watching everywhere.
This is a deep statement. It is useful to know that part to this extent. And Allah has settled his account in full. As it says, what everyone did is fully the return of their own two hands. Well, Allah is swift in reckoning, it says. Swift reckoning. He settles one's account swiftly. Those who deny Allah Almighty, who, although they know that Allah Almighty is the Truth, turn their backs on Allah, those who deny Allah Almighty's verse inne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l- islâm. Although the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came as a prophet, as a mercy to the worlds, the prophethood of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Seal of the Prophets — those who attempt to deny it — to their appearing as if they do, as if they do, to their appearing, within their own religion and beliefs, their own ideologies, as if they do good deeds and good works, Allah Almighty brings a beautiful comparison, it says. Don't they do good deeds and good works too?
Well, we brought a verse for that. All the fine works they have done have gone to waste. Allah Almighty also brings a comparison. What does He say? It is like a mirage in a desolate desert, He says. That is, he runs there, puts in effort, and when he gets there he sees that it too is a desert. Allah Almighty gives examples in a language every person can understand. What does He say? In a verse: We never refrain from making comparisons with a mosquito and what is greater, He says. In the verse. The good deeds that those outside the religion of Islam, people who do not accept Islam, do — If you are uncomfortable, sit in the armchair there.
Sit there. You are uncomfortable. Your feet are probably not used to sitting. As you like. The armchair is ready there. The good deeds done by those outside the religion of Islam, by people who do not accept Islam, even if they are acceptable in Allah's sight, because they deny Allah, all the good works they did go to waste. Let's put it this way.
This person — we are talking about a denier — does a world's worth of good deeds. As if that weren't enough, he does another world's worth of good deeds.
However many good deeds he does, even if he fills the space between earth and the heavens with good deeds, against the single sin of denying Allah, all of it goes to waste. All of it has gone to waste. Because what does it say? All the fine works they have done have gone to waste. Yes. So the good deeds of those within the religion of Islam, of people who do not accept Islam, are not acceptable in Allah's sight. All the fine works they have done have gone to waste. As the counterpart of the verse: people left without water in the desert see a mirage, and when they go to the mirage they saw and realize they saw an illusion, they are disillusioned. Right beside the mirage these people saw as water, they have found Allah, He declares.
Now here Allah Almighty, very beautifully, through seeing a mirage, how beautifully He tells us the state of these people.
By the verse "they have found Allah right beside them", what Allah Almighty means to say is this: at any point of the universe or in any particle of it, whatever movement, desire and wish there is, He is aware of it. How is He aware? In all magnetic or antimagnetic matter, inside the nuclei of the atoms, there are neutrons and protons, plus and minus electrodes. By their spinning around their own axis, a signal is given off. That signal remembers Allah. Here is a verse for you. "The heavens and the earth and what is between them have known the remembrance of Allah," it says. Why does Allah, in the nuclei of magnetic or antimagnetic atoms, make the neutrons and protons, that is, the plus and minus nuclei, as they spin around their own axes, remember His Being?
He stamps the symbol that there is no god besides Allah. A factory produces a product and gets a patent for it. It says: This is my product. If Allah Almighty created the whole universe, then all that matter, living and non-living, all matter remembers its Lord. Well, and also, what do we say? In any particle of it, whatever movement, desire and wish there is, He is aware of it. How is He aware? Now, when their electronic — when those nuclei spin around their own axes, they give off a signal. A signal. Even humans give off a signal. Plus and minus. Or when you do something like this — run a comb through your hair, it gets magnetized.
All matter, with the signals it gives off, is with Allah Almighty in the program. Just like a telephone network. This world is the likeness and shadow of the Hereafter. With a phone you carry, wherever in the world you go, when you call me, I can be reached, right? Likewise in matter, any movement, any stirring, a negativity or a movement shows up with Allah Almighty. This whole universe is under His control. That is why we say He is present and watching everywhere. Yes. Of course it has other meanings too, but of this outward meaning this much is enough.
Yes. So Allah Almighty, telling us that what these people did as good deeds has gone to waste, and that He knows with what intention these people did these good works, and the feelings of hatred and resentment in their hearts, declares: And Allah has settled his account in full. On that day, the Day of Reckoning, the day when he has neither a helper nor an intercessor, he is left all alone. What they did as good deeds has gone to waste, and for what they did they have received the return in full. That is, because they denied Allah, all their good deeds and good works came to nothing. These people who denied Allah have found Allah before them on that Day of Reckoning.
The good deeds and good works they did vanished as a product of imagination. Allah is swift in reckoning. From this verse we understand this: a thousand years of the worldly realm are like one day of the Hereafter. A person thinks his lifetime and his life in the worldly realm are long. The swampy and dark amusements of the world look rosy to him. He takes the swamp he has sunk into for life and forgets Allah, whereas a person's lifetime in the worldly realm is, in Allah's sight, nothing but a few hours. So, whereas a person thinks his life is long and moves away from Allah — in fact living in the world like a few hours — if he knew that he will give account to Allah Almighty for what he did in the world, he would grasp that his account will be settled in no time.
That while people live a long lifetime, in the sight of Allah Almighty a human life is a few hours — that is, in Allah's (?), our accounts being settled quickly. Yes.
We said there is no god besides Allah. Non-Muslims associate partners with Allah. They call Jesus the son of Allah, and Mary His wife. The Jews call Ezra the son of Allah. Allah Almighty says they will not see their Lord. They will not see their Lord, He says. People unaware of this verse are incapable and devoid of grasping its meaning. That they are incapable and devoid of grasping the meaning of this verse, from the translations they wrote we understand. What do they say in the translations?
Allah will not be seen in the Hereafter; they will be resurrected blind and sightless, it says. They will be resurrected blind and sightless. Now the scholar who says this is, sadly, unaware of this, verse 12 of Surah As-Sajdah — a poor person.
Well, let's look at Surah As-Sajdah, verse 12.
Here, I've taken a picture of it here. Taken from the Holy Quran. Look what it says. In your Lord's presence — it's not me who says this, mind you. My Lord says it. My Lord. It's a verse in the Quran. Verse 12 of Surah As-Sajdah. In your Lord's presence, hanging their heads: "Our Lord, we have seen the truth and heard. Now send us back to the world so that we may do righteous deeds. We now firmly believe." If only you could see them at the moment they say this, it says. Well, where did you hide this verse, that you said people there will be resurrected blind and sightless? And some say: well, (?), like a sun, just like some illusion He will appear.
They will not see their Lord. This verse symbolizes tawhid. Tawhid. There is no god besides Allah, after all. Those people who imagined, who denied Me, who denied the Lord who truly created them and waited for the Lord in their imagination — that Lord in their imagination they waited for, they will not see, it says.
It symbolizes tawhid, tawhid. Yes, people posing as scholars write these things like this in the Quran, beneath, as translation. Yes.
