An-Nur 41: Don’t you see that the ones in the heavens and on the earth, and the scores of birds recite (Dhikr) Praising Allah? Each of them knows its prayer (how to pray and do Dhikr). Verily, Allah truthfully knows what they are doing.

Translation

Don’t you see that the ones in the heavens and on the earth, and the scores of birds recite (Dhikr) Praising Allah? Each of them knows its prayer (how to pray and do Dhikr). Verily, Allah truthfully knows what they are doing.

Tafsir

All that is in the heavens and the earth and the birds of prey glorify Allah. Allah (swt) has made known to each of His creatures the names that will make them remember Him, and all creatures remember their Creator in a way that Allah (swt) has programmed them.

Allah (swt) makes all His creatures, living and non-living beings, remember Him. The reason for this is that when people advance in knowledge, with the development of technology and science, the atoms of substances and the neutrons and protons, that is, the plus and minus charged nuclei in these atoms, rotate around each other, even though we cannot hear them, they both make a sound, create a magnetic field, and remember Allah.

Since Allah (swt) created the universe with knowledge, when people become aware of the subtleties in the creation of matter, it symbolizes to people that there is a creator and that this creator can only be Allah (swt), and that there is no other God but Allah (swt) when the creator makes the matter He has created to mention His Name.

All creatures, animate and inanimate matter, living and non-living things, birds in rows, beings in the sky, creatures on the ground, such as the angelic beings, glorify Allah. Each creature knows its name to remember Allah by the names that Allah has revealed to it.

Allah (swt) gives examples to human beings from the creatures He has created. If the created creatures know the name of their Lord and remember their Creator, how can man live oblivious to Allah and deprived of His light in the face of Allah (swt), who is the equal among them, who is endowed with His attributes, who is a part of the Essence of Allah (swt), who has given man his soul, who has given man free will, who has made man accountable to His Essence? Allah (swt) knows exactly what His creatures have done. Therefore, Allah is the only One who knows the deeds of those in the heavens and the earth and those between them, and He is the only One who is aware of their states. He is the One Who controls His creatures and is aware of them.

What is said in the video

Yes, Surah An-Nur, verse 41: Do you not see that those in the heavens and on the earth and the birds in rows glorify Allah? it says. Yes, the birds in rows. Each has known its own prayer and glorification. Allah fully knows what they do. And in one I said: the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the remembrance of their Lord they have known. Those in the heavens and on the earth and the birds in rows glorify Allah. Allah Almighty has made known to each of His creatures its (?) by which His Being is to be remembered; all creatures, in the way Allah Almighty programmed them, remember their Creator.

Allah Almighty makes all His creations, living and non-living beings, remember His Being. The reason for this: as people advance in knowledge, with the development of technology and science, in the atoms of matter, and within these atoms the neutrons and protons, that is, the positively and negatively charged nuclei, by spinning around one another, even though we do not hear it, both make a sound and create a magnetic field. And they also remember Allah. Every being, even if we do not hear it, aloud, remembers Allah. And what does David say? With mountains and with stones, let me remember You, my Lord.

At dawns, with the birds, let me remember You, my Lord. That is, when the spiritual unveiling of those mountains and stones opens up to him, he hears their remembrance. He hears the remembrance of the birds. Yes. Allah Almighty makes all His creations, living and non-living beings, remember His Being. The reason for this: as people advance in knowledge, with the development of technology and science, in the atoms of matter, and within these atoms the electrons and protons, that is, the positively and negatively charged nuclei, by spinning around one another, even though we do not hear it, both make a sound and create a magnetic field, and also remember Allah.

So, since Allah Almighty created the universe with knowledge, when people come to know the subtleties in the creation of matter, that there is a Creator and that this Creator can only be Allah — when the Creator makes the matter He created remember His Being, that there is no other god besides Him, He has thus symbolized to people. All created things, living and non-living matter, the birds in rows, the beings in the sky, like the noble angels, the creatures on earth glorify Allah. Every created being, by remembering Allah with the names Allah made known to it, has known His name. From these creatures He created, Allah Almighty gives people examples. The created beings know their Lord's name.

If they remember their Creator, then the human among them, the noblest of creatures, endowed with the attributes of the Essence, a part of Allah's Being — the human, toward Allah Almighty, who gave the human of His spirit, who left him free in his partial will, who took him as the addressee of His Being — how can the human live heedless of Allah and deprived of His light? Allah Almighty also fully knows what the creatures He created do. So He knows what the heavens and those on earth and what is between them do. And the One who is aware of their states is only Allah. He is the One who holds His creatures under His rule and is aware of them.

We have finished our lesson.
