Translation

Allah exchanges night into day and day into night. Verily, in this, there is a lesson for those who has eyse that see.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) continues to prove by His Verses that there is no other God but Himself. As an example, by giving the example of night and day coming one after the other, turning night into day and day into night, he shows people that such an event can only be done under the power of Allah, and he wants people to know Allah through contemplation and to serve Him.

The Earth completes its revolution around its axis in twenty-four hours. The diameter of the earth is forty thousand kilometers. If we divide forty thousand kilometers by twenty-four hours, the speed of the earth per hour is one thousand six hundred and sixty-six and continues in fractions.

This is how Allah, who makes the earth rotate at the speed of one thousand six hundred sixty-six and more per hour, has ensured this rotation. We have explained this part in the exegesis of other verses. We will briefly mention it here. At the north and south poles of our world, Allah has placed masses of magnetism. The same poles of the magnets repel each other and different poles attract each other. Since the same poles of these magnets repel each other, Allah has placed these masses at the north and south poles of the earth with such millimeter calculations that even though the earth has been rotating around its axis for so long, the fact that day and night do not overlap, that days, months and seasons do not change, shows us that Allah is a great scholar and omnipotent.

(In this there is an absolute sign for those who have clairvoyance), and with this verse, he encourages people to contemplate and think. Making the earth and the planets they created move around each other in space and in the heavens, making these three planets connected to each other with the earth, the sun and the moon, giving life to the earth with the sun, placing the lunar calendar in the sky with the moon, rotating the earth around its own axis and around the sun to create night and day and seasons, etc., shows us that these things cannot occur on their own and that they were created by an absolute creator. There are signs for the people of clairvoyance, that is, for people who contemplate the greatness of Allah.

One of these signs is the inevitable existence of Allah and the creation of this universe by His Essence. He informs human beings, to whom He has addressed Him, that every particle of creation was not created in vain and that they should be servants of Allah by introducing Him to them.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nur, verse 44: Allah turns the night and the day into one another. He turns the night and the day into one another. Surely in this there is an absolute lesson for those who have insight.

His creating the world in the shape of an ellipse.

His creating the Sun and the Moon and setting up in the sky the lunar system, His making the Sun turn fixed around its own axis, His turning the Earth and the Moon around the Sun,

with the Earth turning in front of the Sun, the side facing the Sun being day, and the place not facing the Sun being night, in the void, in the heavens, these galaxies Allah Almighty makes swim; Allah Almighty, who creates with knowledge, His greatness, that this no power other than Allah could do, He proves with such beautiful verses indeed. What does it say? Allah turns the night and the day into one another.

Where is the person who says "I created this"? He too is a helpless person on earth, in need of what Allah gives.

Allah Almighty continues to prove scientifically with His verses that besides His Being there is no other god. Namely, as an example, the coming of night and day one after the other, His turning night into day and day into night, giving this as an example, showing people that such an event can only be done under Allah's power, He wants people, through reflection, to know Allah and to serve His Being.

The Earth completes its rotation around its own axis in 24 hours. The Earth's diameter is 40 thousand kilometers. If we divide 40 thousand kilometers by 24 hours, the Earth goes on at a speed per hour of one thousand six hundred sixty-six and some. So how has Allah Almighty, who turns the Earth at one thousand six hundred sixty-six and some per hour, secured this turning? Isn't it so? How is this Earth? While turning around its own axis, it turns without slipping to the right or left. We explained this part in the commentary on other verses. Here we will touch on it briefly and stop. In the north and south poles of our Earth, Allah Almighty has placed magnetic masses.

The same poles of magnets repel each other, while opposite poles attract each other. Since the same poles of these magnetisms repel each other, with such millimetric calculations He placed these masses at the Earth's north and south poles that our Earth, although it has been turning around its own axis all this time — night and day not overtaking each other, days, months and seasons not changing — this shows us that Allah is a great Knower and has power over everything. A magnetism beyond our mind and imagination, beyond any calculation, at the South Pole. And again, of a size our mind and imagination cannot grasp, and a little less than that, a magnetic mass that, by pushing the Earth, can turn it around its own axis in 24 hours — His placing such a mass.

These are calculations, calculations. Then, around its own axis, while the Earth turns, in the face of earthquakes on Earth, floods, volcanoes, people's atomic tests, so that the Earth is not affected and does not wobble as it turns, at a speed of 1666 kilometers per hour when He turns the Earth, because of its centrifugal force, however many added factors there may be on Earth, since they cannot get outside the Earth's centrifugal force, with these forces the Earth keeps turning around its own axis. It keeps turning. It turns unaffected. And He has given beautiful calculations. Yes. He created everything with knowledge.

With His verse saying, "Surely in this there is an absolute lesson for those with insight," He leads people to reflection and thinking.

Making the Earth and the planets He created, in the void and in the heavens, travel around one another, making the Earth, the Sun and the Moon, these three planets, bound to each other, the Sun and the Earth, life, and giving life to the Earth with the Sun, placing with the Moon the lunar, that is, the lunar, the moon calendar in the sky, turning the Earth around its own axis and around the Sun, bringing about night and day and the seasons; creating these through such states is to show us that these could not come about by themselves and that by an absolute Creator they were created. For those with insight, that is, people who reflect on Allah's greatness, there are great lessons here.

One of these lessons is that Allah's existence is inescapable, and that this universe was created by His Being. That no particle created was created in vain; introducing His Being to the human He addresses, He informs them that they are to be servants of Allah. If you worked at a factory, and the owner of that factory, in return for your work, gave you your due more than enough, and you were hostile both to the factory and to its owner, what would they do in the end?

Even if the factory owner were very merciful:

"He will come before me anyway. I will settle his account. But for now, give him food, let him fill his belly" — if he says that, in the end, may Allah not let us meet such an end (?). Yes.
