An-Nur 49: But if the Truth (that Allah and Allah’s Prophet have judged upon) is in their benefit, they come obeying it.

Translation

But if the Truth (that Allah and Allah’s Prophet have judged upon) is in their benefit, they come obeying it.

Tafsir

When the hypocrites are summoned to Allah and His Messenger to settle their disputes, if there is a decision against them, they turn their backs and leave. But if there is a verdict in their favor, they immediately bow their heads and come back. In this case, they are not obeying Allah and His Messenger, but their own souls.

The hypocrites want the Messenger of Allah to decide in their favor and to make the unjust person right in their understanding, and they want the Prophet to distinguish between classes of people. They want him to protect the well-to-do and wealthy against the poor and destitute. These wealthy people should be made right when they are wrong.

This is the understanding of hypocrites and people outside Islam. It is that they live in the world, that they are attracted to worldly goods, that they live in wealth. It is to dominate people, rightly or wrongly, by having a say among them with their presence.

These people were deprived of the light of Allah because they disbelieved in Allah when they made a covenant with Allah at Kalu Bela. Whoever is deprived of the light of Allah, he will never attain the light of Allah. Even if he hears the truth, he does not understand it. They are deaf because their ears are closed against the Truth. Their eyes are blind to the truth and their hearts are sealed. They are deprived of Allah's mercy forever.

What is said in the video

Gentlemen, it seems our lesson will describe today itself, inshallah.

Of Surah An-Nur, verse 49, our daughter says. I suppose so. Yes.

In translation, verse 49 in Surah An-Nur: But if the right that Allah and His Messenger judged is in their favour, they come to it in submission, it says. What does this verse support? Unless you make concessions to them, they will never go along with you. In that case, if we decide in their favour, they are with us, they come. As I said, it is as if this verse addresses us today, our life today. The Quran addresses every time, every era anyway. Today, be it Germany, be it the Netherlands, be it other states, be it Switzerland,

they have imposed a ban on speaking.

You cannot speak with the people of your own state. Why? Because the non-Muslim whole world still thinks Turkey is the old Turkey. In the old Turkey it would bow to what they said and clap for them. In this situation they would steer Turkey as they wish, and Turkey and this nation, just as they have exploited them until now, these exploiters who are used to exploiting are trying to act in the same manner. Yet they are people (?) the awakening of 80 million people. They still do not want to understand. Blind people. Why are they blind?

Their ears are deaf too, they do not want to hear. Because their hearts are sealed as well. If they had not been blind and not deaf, at the address Elestü bi-rabbiküm they would have known Allah there, and of those He calls ashabü'l-meymeneti mâ ashabü'l-meymeneh, they would have been among the people of the right. Because these, with selfish feelings, with their arrogance and pride, act, and because they likened our Lord to themselves, they waited for the Lord of their imagination and, (?) toward Allah, in their arrogance and pride, turned their backs. In this situation Allah Almighty says of them: My Beloved, back then too they betrayed Me. He says.

And their hearts are scattered and restless. He says. These are the people of the left. In this situation, of them: Hatemallâhu alâ kulûbihim ve alâ sem'ihim ve alâ ebsârihim gışâvetün ve lehüm azâbün azîm. Already there they had their eyes blinded, had them bound, blind to seeing the truth; they had their ears plugged against hearing the truth, and had their hearts sealed so as not to understand these things. The same thing is happening in our time. Because they know that, with Turkey gaining this much strength, standing on its own feet, its laws being left in the past, with a new law Turkey will leap forward, these join hands like the Crusades and, over Turkey, even though a 'no' vote is cast, to cut the (?) with Turkish citizens too, they impose a ban on going there.

If we had said yeah to them, there would be no ban at all.

One must own the place where the enemy's arrow falls. In this situation I call out like this. To our citizens abroad: in spite of them, if you are Muslims, because of this hostility of theirs against Turkey, say yes. Even if you were going to say no, say yes. If the blood of Turkishness lives in you, if the blood of your ancestors, the blood of those martyrs, by those clowns' lies, you do not want to let be crushed under their boots, if you have even a little faith, you will say yes to this. Yes. So that the world understands what Turkey and Islam are, and takes the slap. If, look, you fear them and give a no, you become their lackeys and, worse than today Syria's (?) migrants who came to the states as emigrants, into a bad situation you will fall.

Therefore those abroad need to come to their senses. They need to say yes to this.

For his homeland, for his nation, for his future, for himself, for his religion and faith, for his honor, for the bright days ahead of Turkey and himself, he needs to say yes. Otherwise, he becomes the plaything of clowns, and is disgraced both in this world and in the Hereafter.

Allah Almighty does not call anyone to account for something He has not made known. Yes.

Now we come to our lesson. Verse 49 of Surah An-Nur addresses this very matter, so that is why we opened it up in some detail. But if the right that Allah and His Messenger judged is in their favour, they come to it in submission, it says. The hypocrites, when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to have their disputes judged, and a decision goes against them, turn their backs and leave. But if there is a decision in their favour, they immediately come back, bowing their heads, they come. In this case they have not obeyed Allah and His Messenger but have obeyed their own nafs. So in this case it says (?), doesn't it?

(?). (?), where there is no Islam a thing called conscience, called law, does not exist either. Because Allah Almighty says in the Quran, they are very harsh among themselves, He says. In this case, they are truly both without conscience, without law, and cruel and contemptible people.

On what basis do we say this?

Because of denying Allah Almighty, they are very harsh among themselves, He says. Among themselves, these only fear what their states have made: the law, that is what they fear. The law. Where that law does not exist, they recognize neither law nor justice nor conscience. Yes. These people living in this state are, wrapped in human form, in appearance an animal, in appearance a human to be seen. In His verse Allah Almighty says of them, they are like four-legged creatures roaming the earth, He says. According to this verse, in appearance human, in form human, but in character an animal. It even says they are more astray in their course.

Because animals too have a law among themselves. Man, with his own reason, does things even baser than an animal. To whip up their lustful feelings, with unimaginable filth that would not occur even to Satan's mind, they are creatures steeped in it. Yes.

If you count them as human, what will come of it?

But if there is a decision for them, they immediately come back bowing their necks, they come. In this case they have not obeyed Allah and His Messenger but have obeyed their own nafs. The hypocrites want the Messenger of Allah to decide for them and, by putting the one in the wrong in the right, according to their own understanding the Prophet too should, among people, make class distinctions. In their own understanding, the Prophet too should make class distinctions among people and protect the respected and wealthy against the poor and helpless. These wealthy people, while in the wrong, should be put in the right.

Isn't this the state of non-Muslims today?

With money, aren't the same situations (?)? With the money FETÖ spread around, with the money of that one Soros, today isn't the world drenched in blood? Don't they do what he says?

This is the understanding of the hypocrites and of people outside Islam. To live intertwined with the world, to incline to worldly wealth, to live as people of wealth. With their wealth, having a say among people, rightly or wrongly they rule over people. These people, when they made the covenant with Allah Almighty at Kalu Bela, because they denied Allah, have remained deprived of Allah's light. Whoever has been deprived of Allah's light can never again attain Allah's light. Even if he hears the truth, he does not understand. Since their ears are closed to the truth, they are deaf. Their eyes are blind to the truth, their hearts are sealed.

These are eternally deprived of Allah's mercy.
