Tafsir
Allah is present in every particle of the universe. For Him there is no concept of time and space. All these worlds have been created and programmed by our Lord. If man could realize that he is in the presence of Allah (swt) who knows everything that will happen in the universe from the beginning to the end, i.e. until the Day of Judgment, would he be humiliated, humiliated, humiliated in the face of that creator by resorting to such lies? If he could control his ego by using his intellect, would he make fun of himself?
However, as we have explained above, these are people whose worldly interests have pulled the veil over their eyes, whose ego has overcome their intellect, and who have consented to their situation in order to obtain worldly benefits. These are people who have pity on themselves. They will not turn back from this state. In this respect, they have been given respite in their transgressions in accordance with the covenant they made in the address (Elestu bi Rabbikum).
Why does Allah (swt) give such people respite? Let us answer our question after an example. When Allah (swt) formed our father Adam from mud and gave him his soul, He told the Melaike-i Kirama and Satan to prostrate to Adam. The devil did not prostrate, he played a game of logic. (He said, "You created me from fire and Adam from mud, fire cleanses mud, but mud does not cleanse fire. He did not know that by prostrating to Adam, he was actually prostrating to Allah (swt).
Finally, he was expelled for disobeying an order and said to Allah (you expelled me and I have a will against you). Allah (swt) said, 'Whatever you desire will be given to you. In response, he listed his desires and wishes and his wishes were given to him. (These verses will be explained to you in detail when they come.) If Allah (swt) had not given him what he wanted, a question might come to our minds. If Shaytan's requests had been granted to him, we might have wondered whether Allah (swt) would have been incapacitated and his requests would not have been granted. In this respect, the angel's requests were given to him. There are many other reasons why the angel's request was given to him. It will be explained to you in due course.
(Did man think that he would die without proving what kind of a being he is)? For this, according to the verse, man was given respite in his transgressions. And our final return is to Allah.
Allah has the attribute of Godhood. No one will be able to question Allah. The questions that will come to the minds of people until the Day of Resurrection will have been revealed by Allah (swt). It is not possible for anyone to make Allah (swt) incapacitated.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 15: Allah Almighty, too, mocks them, ridicules them, and in the transgressions they will commit, He gives them respite.
Now, I liken these people to the ostrich. When the ostrich sees its enemy, it buries its head in the sand, thinking it isn't seen, thinking it is hidden.
The brightness of day and the pitch darkness of night are, for Allah, one and the same. In the pitch darkness of night, on a pitch-black stone, He hears the footsteps of a pitch-black ant, and sees it. Nothing is hidden from Allah. So you — 'Allah Almighty, too, mocks them' — that is, you were mocking the Muslims, weren't you, you thought you were deceiving the Muslims, but in fact you are the one deceived. What you do, what you do, not even a child would do. So you, preferring this world to the hereafter, not from your Lord, the trust your Lord gave — that is, the trust He gave to Ahmet Efendi — by swindling it out of Ahmet Efendi, taking it from him without asking your Lord, asking it of him, and then coming to your allies and saying, 'We are only mocking them' — your Lord, who sees all you do, will surely mock you.
Yes. And in the transgressions they will commit, He gives them respite.
Why does He give respite? O you so-and-so, so-and-so, so-and-so (?). Do whatever you do. I know what you will do. I sent you to this world to prove yourself. 'Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are?' — according to that verse. Now this nafs I have given you, this breath — within this breath, within one lifetime, you will prove yourself completely, and your place in the place of punishment in the hereafter as the return of your own two hands, as your earnings, you will earn. In this case you are given respite in your transgression.
We said in the verse that Allah Almighty is present in every particle of the universe. For Him there is no notion of time and place. All these worlds have been created and programmed by our Lord. From the beginning of the universe to its end. That is, from the beginning of the universe, from its first creation, to the end of the universe. That he is in the presence of Allah Almighty, who knows whatever will happen until the Day of Judgment — if only man could grasp that.
What did we say a moment ago? Until the Day of Judgment there is none of us whose deeds Allah Almighty does not know. And if only they could know that what they do, like the ostrich, in the very presence of Allah — well, what kind of trickery they are pulling — if only they knew, yes. By (?) lies like this, before the Creator he is belittled, humiliated; in a (?) state, would he put himself in the position of a judge? If only man knew his Lord, his Lord — those who swindle people, those who tell lies, who are ashamed before people but not ashamed before Allah, who gossip and backbite and pull every kind of intrigue for their own interests — they do these things in the presence of such a witness — if only they could grasp it.
If these people knew that everything they do is written down before a notary, if they knew it is seen within that notary, and that, under that notary's laws, they will be caught and meet punishment. That notary, that notary, the trusted custodian who never breaks faith with his word in any way, is the words of Allah Almighty.
Perhaps a notary sees what his eye sees, but that's only what his eye sees. We narrowed it; we're saying this for one person. Take the whole world into account. Take all created beings into account.
What does he do? A man stealing somewhere notices there's a camera. His first move is to break the camera. Why? So he isn't seen. But this world is in the view of such a camera that neither your hand nor your tongue can reach it. Your hand and tongue only remain with yourself. You are within such a heart. So in everything you do, everything you do, you are given respite within your lifetime. The reason: so that you earn the account of your own nafs with your own two hands. Yes.
But, as we also explained above, worldly interests have drawn a veil over their eyes, their nafs has overpowered their reason, they are people who have accepted this state to gain worldly interests. Because beforehand, in the (?), he gave his covenant (?) and will live that way. These are people who have wronged themselves. Nor will they turn back from these states. Therefore, according to the covenant they gave at the address 'Elestü bi Rabbiküm', He has granted them respite in the transgressions they will commit. So that every person proves what kind of person he is, within the deeds he will do, within his lifetime, his own rank he will bring out. He will prove what kind of person he is.
We asked a question here. Why does Allah Almighty grant such people respite? we said. We said: let us answer our question after an example. When Allah Almighty created our father Adam from clay and gave him of His spirit, He told the noble angels and Satan: prostrate to Adam. The accursed one was not among those who prostrated. He played a game of logic. 'You created me from fire, and Adam from clay.' 'Fire cleans clay, but clay does not clean fire,' he said. He could not know that prostrating to Adam was in fact prostrating to Allah Almighty. In the end, for disobeying the command, he was driven from the presence.
Now, why here was prostration to Adam prostration to Allah?
Allah Almighty gave man of His spirit. Before giving Adam (peace be upon him) this spirit, He did not say 'prostrate' to this body He had created from clay. Had He said 'prostrate', Allah Almighty would have made them prostrate to beings other than His Self, to His creatures. What did He do? After giving him of His spirit, He said: prostrate.
So pay attention. A deep subject. A deep subject. A subject not everyone can easily grasp. We're going there now. Because Allah Almighty gave man a spirit from His Self, man is himself his Lord's likeness. He is his Lord's likeness. Man.
In this case, Allah Almighty took man as a mirror of His Self — a mirror, a mirror. Man is his Lord's mirror. Outwardly, as the manifest, His appearance in this world. Man. Because His spirit is in him. So He told the angels, the angels, and Satan: prostrate to Adam. They were to prostrate to the spirit in him. Since that spirit is (?) from their Lord, they would both obey Allah's word and, by prostrating to man, the shadow of their Lord, they would have prostrated to Allah.
Yes.
In the end, for disobeying the command, he was driven from the presence, and he said to Allah Almighty: You drove me from the presence; I too have a wish from You. 'I have a wish,' he said. And Allah Almighty said: whatever your wish, it will be given to you. (?) Why? If what the accursed one asked of Allah Almighty our Lord had not given him, then in the face of the accursed one's demands Allah Almighty would have been rendered helpless. Helpless. And in that case, to the accursed one's demands
He would, well, have been unable to respond. But Allah is such an Allah that the scenario of everything is written, its program is written.
He will lead those who do not know Allah; he will tempt them. And Allah Almighty will send verses that make His Self known, and prophets and scholars. As long as man, on the path of his own desire and wish, follows the temptations given to him, he will turn his back on Allah, and man will prove what kind of person he is. So in this case Allah Almighty says: O accursed one, tell Me, what do you want? What do you want?
Yes. We already opened this up a little here. When we come to that verse, it will be explained to you in detail. If Allah Almighty had not given the accursed one his wish, a question like this might have come to our minds: was it because, had Satan's wishes been given to him, Allah Almighty would have been rendered helpless, that his wishes were not accepted? — that question might have come. That is why the accursed one's wishes were given to him. There were many more reasons for giving the accursed one his wish. They will be explained to you in due course. As I said a moment ago, above we open these up a little.
When their turn comes, it will all be supported again and again. The verses do not contradict one another. Yes. That is why the words we explain do not fit into people's minds. They don't fit. But none of them contradicts another. Until when do they not fit? Until one listens to me with patience. Then, little by little, roses begin to bloom in his heart. Then his understanding widens, he opens up to unveiling. Yes. Those who at first think themselves scholars, faced with these words we open up, well, call us zindiq, and go their way. In fact they themselves are the zindiq. Look how fine. We open up verses with verses.
We prove it. If they have a proof to the contrary, let them prove it to us. Allah Almighty has the attribute of Godhood, we said. No one will be able to question or call Allah to account.
Why can't they? Because Allah Almighty, for all these beings who will come from our father Adam until the Day of Judgment, unseen, invisible beings, according to all their desires and wishes, causes He creates, and people, or created beings, by acting on those causes, by acting on them themselves, are cut off from all the questions they would ask. Therefore they refrain from asking Allah Almighty questions. The questions that will come to the minds of the people to come until the Day of Judgment, Allah Almighty will have brought to light. No one can possibly render Allah Almighty helpless. Did man think he would die without proving what kind of being he is?
According to that verse, this is why man was given respite in his transgressions. In the end, our return is to Allah Almighty. Now, here in this verse, why, we said, does Allah Almighty grant such people respite?
Here we did not open that up much. We didn't open it. What did we say? Let us answer our question after an example. We passed over that example here only in veiled terms. But I have opened it up for you. Where did we pass over it in veiled terms? Having them prostrate to Adam. Allah Almighty giving of His spirit. That is how He grants such people respite. Why does Allah Almighty grant such people respite? Well, in the transgressions they will commit, in their transgressions — that with Allah Almighty they made a covenant at that address 'Elestü bi Rabbiküm', according to Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172 — that they made a covenant, and when he came to the unseen world without knowledge of that covenant, unaware of it, yet even though our Lord made His Self known — the person being a (?) of Allah Almighty, because He gave him of His spirit, being created the noblest of creatures, the angels and Satan, when He said of him, prostrate to Adam — we are his children. We (?) created from his spirit.
That is, we (?) come. From before. We (?) come from the spirits Allah Almighty created. And bodily we (?) come from (?). We are his likeness. We are human, that is. We are in human form. Our father Adam is a human too. So, after the spirit was given to him, his being created the noblest of creatures because of that spirit, his being the most excellent of all created beings, well, to us, within our will, within our own will. Without being programmed in any way by our Lord, our own desire and wish being asked by ourselves, so that our wish becomes our destiny. Yes. Why does He give respite? So that, without any pressure on him and without any, well, despotism, without sovereignty being exercised over him, Allah Almighty without using His own will over people, what man, by his own will, asks of his Lord becomes his destiny.
In this case, so that that person proves in the world of dominion what kind of person he is, He gives him a chance. He gives him a chance. Why does He give a chance? (?) because man saw his Lord as being like himself — that's why. And so that that person does not say: had You sent me to a hidden world, in a world where Your Self is hidden, had You made Your Self known to me, I would have obeyed You. A bit important. In this case man
was sent to this world to play out the outcome of the covenant he gave to Allah Almighty. For this reason man is under a great responsibility, and man, while under this responsibility — the man who forgets that he is constantly in his Lord's view. The man unaware of this. Moreover, 'when you come before Me with a driver,' He says. That when these bodies of ours are raised in the hereafter and brought face to face with our spirit waiting in the barzakh, our body will be made a witness to our spirit, and every moment, every second, being aware of yourself; in case you (?), not forgetting that my body is a witness to you.
Therefore, again, as they say, 'either be as you appear or appear as you are' — a person knowing that he is under his Lord's view, and that this body of his will bear witness against him, and ordering his life accordingly — that makes the person the noblest of creatures. Otherwise, if he forgets that he is under his Lord's view and is unaware that his body will bear witness against him, if he lives like that, running after every kind of selfish desire, and with the temptation Satan gives him he prefers that worldly life to the hereafter. Yes,
