Oh, you people! Worship your Creator Who has created you and those before you so that you can attain ittika (abstinence from sins), taqwa (abstinence from sins with extreme care).
Tafsir
Here Allah (swt) clearly says that there is no god but Him and that you and those before you should worship Allah (swt) who created us and those before us and is the Lord of those who will come after us, so that you may be saved.
These worlds are not just a game and a toy. It is a world of trial for those who make a good covenant with Allah (swt) and those who do not. Although our Lord knows the covenants we have made in the former world, Allah (swt), who has made people acquainted with His Essence and has spoken to them and made a covenant with them, has locked the program of the covenant event and has made every intellect prove the proof of His existence in the unseen realm of the unseen and in the realm of property. He wanted people to return to Allah (swt) with faith in the unseen in this realm where His Essence is invisible.
Allah (swt) warns people with His Verses. In one of His verses, He says: "If you do not worship, what shall We do with you? The fact that He wants all of His creation to worship Him, that there is no creator other than Him, and that salvation can only be attained by returning to that one and only God, informs us clearly and unambiguously in this mortal world we call our earthly life.
What is said in the video
Now we come to a beautiful subject.
Look, it says yâ eyyühe'n-nâs: O people! Worship your Lord who created you and those before you, so that you may attain piety. He is addressing people. Didn't they say Allah created people for hell? Didn't they say He put whom He willed into paradise and whom He willed into hell? What does it say? O people, worship your Lord who created you and those before you so that you may attain piety. No one can ascribe attributes to Allah. With his tiny mind he cannot impute a fault to Allah.
Those wretches who say 'I have knowledge', who with outward sciences say 'I am a man of knowledge' and think themselves scholars. We are struggling against them. We will struggle against them. Even if they call us heretics, like the insults to the Prophet (?), we will accept this. We will carry on our cause, with the verses. With the verses. As long as I live, we will remove the superstitions from among these. We will try to clean them out, God willing. These are superstitions.
Here Allah Almighty clearly shows there is no god besides Himself; with the verse saying 'you and those before you': worship Allah, who created us and those before us and is the Lord of those who will come after us, so that you will be saved, He commands. So Allah Almighty did not create this world as a game and a plaything.
Allah Almighty did not send the human being, whom He created as the most honourable in this world, into the world to amuse his own self either. So why did He create? An unknown treasure. What treasure? The treasure of knowledge. Knowledge subsists in His Essence. He willed to be known. Well? He created angels. Was He not known? He was not known. He created so many beings. Was He not known? He was not known. Why was He not known? Ahmet Efendi built a robot and programmed it. Programmed it. Well, within your program it knew you. But He was going to create a being such that, within his own self, that human, within his own being, that human would know his Lord.
Now He was known. Like children coming from a father's loins.
God forbid, we say He cannot be likened, don't we? There is no fault in a comparison. Allah Almighty too, by giving a part of His Essence, of His spirit, a part, as Süleyman Çelebi Hazretleri said, how beautifully he puts it. 'I made My Essence a mirror to your essence,' He says. To whom? He says it for the Prophet. What does He say? I made My Essence a mirror to your essence. Mirat is a mirror. 'I created to see My Essence in you,' He says. So He gives him a part of His spirit. From that part He gave, He creates the spirits of the prophets, and from the spirits of those prophets the spirits of their peoples.
From that part, the people from our father Adam until the Day of Judgement He creates. How can this be? Within our Lord's knowledge. If you can barely see a microbe magnified thousands of times under a microscope, if you can fit this whole world into this tiny card, Allah can fit it too.
Is that so? Allah can fit it too.
We have written it here too: this world is not merely a game and a plaything. It is a world of testing for those who gave Allah Almighty a good covenant and those who did not. A world of testing for those who gave and those who did not. Although the covenant we gave in the first barzakh is known, what do we say? These worlds are not merely a game and a plaything. It is a world of testing for those who gave Allah Almighty a good covenant and those who did not. Although the covenant we gave in the first barzakh is known, where is Allah Almighty, who honoured people with His Essence and spoke with them and made a covenant with them?
In the address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, pointing to that place where He said 'I am your Lord', He has locked the program of the covenant event with the unseen world where His Essence is not seen. With what? Here, when He was going to send you to the world, in the program He says: this place is closed to you; a password is needed to enter here. A password. Otherwise let him start from zero here in the world, He says. You have the program. It is installed. (?) You have lived through those places. What is the password? Going back again (?). Ascending. With what? By reforming your nafs. With what? From nafs-i emmare, nafs-i levvame, nafs-i mülhime, to nafs-i mutmainne.
What will you pass through? Nafs-i raziye, nafs-i marziye, nafs-i safiye. Or so that you can see those worlds. Yes.
Allah Almighty locked the program of the covenant event into the unseen world where His Essence is not seen, and in the great world He outwardly made the proof of His existence clear to every person of reason. To every person of reason. With what? Apart from the verse: I call no one to account from a generation (?). Today those who have never seen a human face worship idols. They worship (?). Cannibals in Africa worship, these and those. For example, they too know. There is one Allah. There is one Allah. So what do we say? As proof of that He locked the program, and in the great world outwardly made the proof of His existence clear to every person of reason.
He wanted these people, in a world where His Essence is not seen, with faith in the unseen, to return to Allah Almighty, that is, to turn back to Allah. In an unseen world. Allah Almighty warns people with His verses.
In this verse, with His verses where He says 'if you have no worship, what shall We do with you', His wanting all the people He created to worship Him, that there is no other creator besides Him, and that only when one turns to that One, that One God, one attains salvation: this we see in our worldly life, which we call the transient world, plainly and clearly. (?) Yes.
