They are the ones who know with certainty that they will reunite and return to their Lord Allah.
Tafsir
Allah is exempt from any imperfect attribute. When He says that they know something with certainty, there is closeness in it. In His Word, He speaks of those who show respect, the kind of people that Allah (swt) intends. Those who have the title of believer among the Muslims. The 27th verse of Al-Fajr Surah and the following verses are the people to whom He says, "O soul that is satisfied, enter My Paradise among My servants with your Lord pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord". They have attained perfection by reforming the soul.
Those who know the existence of Allah (swt) as if they see the visible world. Those who keep in mind the verse (All souls will taste death). People who are always in preparation for the Hereafter, who know that their true homeland is the Hereafter, who know that they are guests in this world. Therefore, such people are praised by their Lord for their submission to Allah, in deference to the commands of Allah (swt), in this verse of Allah (swt).
In a way, Allah (swt) glorifies such people with this verse and shows them to people as an example. Since Allah (swt) does not intend cruelty to His creatures, He declares to people with all His Verses that they will save their souls by recognizing His Divine Essence.
What is said in the video
Those who show reverence, who (Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 46) Those who show reverence, who know that they will meet their Lord and in the end return to Him, with certainty. Who is this? Those who show reverence. Let's take this from here. Let's put it there. Let's take this from here.
Let's read the commentary. What did we write here? There are some meanings here. We will support these meanings with verses. We will support our words, or the verse, with verses. Those who show reverence, who know that they will meet their Lord and in the end return to Him, with certainty. This verse supports the following verse. The learned and the angels bear witness to Allah's existence. What was it? The learned and the angels bear witness to Allah's existence. Those who show reverence, who know that they will meet their Lord and in the end return to Him, with certainty. Their knowing with certainty: these people's (?) attaining the divine manifestations; some, through unveiling, seeing the places that will be seen after going to the hereafter while still in this world.
Through the verses of the Holy Quran, as far as our Lord lets him witness them, his undertaking the seyrilillah. These know with certainty. We have said Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes. If He said they know something with certainty, there is a nearness in it. What nearness? People's manifestations toward Allah Almighty, don't forget, what? Then the nafs ar-radiya, that is, the state of ilm al-yaqin. In these states people know Allah Almighty with certainty. What is the meaning of nearness here? Just as they bear witness to His existence, they know that, for a temporary time in this world, they came to prove themselves.
He knows he is a traveller here, knows he is a guest, and that from this guesthouse he will leave after a short time. Yes, in this case, just as a person who knows he is in a guesthouse here longs for the return to his true homeland, so they long for that time. These know that realm with certainty. That is one meaning of yaqin, too. Among Muslims, the people who, as Allah Almighty wills, attain the quality of believer. Who are they? As I said just now, the believers. In Surah Al-Fajr: O soul at peace, your Lord pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord, enter among My servants, enter My Paradise; the people He speaks to so.
Their nafs has matured through reform. Allah Almighty's existence, as one sees and knows the visible world, those who know it so. Just as a person sees this world with the eyes in his head, what with the eyes in his head he cannot see; but there is another eye in man, a third eye. It is the eye of the soul, the soul. With the soul it travels through the realms. Just as one sees in a dream, through unveiling, through the (?) realm too, he attains the manifestations and knows. Yes. Those who never put the verse 'every soul shall taste death' out of their mind; that is, as I said just now, those who know they are a guest in this world; their life, since they don't know when it will end, without putting Allah Almighty out of their minds, according to this verse: I have servants such that neither buying nor trade keeps them from remembering Me; the people He speaks of; these are righteous servants, those who know with certainty.
These people, at every moment, are in preparation for the hereafter.
No one knows when the divine decree will come. So they are ready at every moment. They know that their true homeland is the hereafter, the hereafter. So then, in this world, amid the pleasures of a passing world, palaces, mansions, yachts, summer houses, if you say this and desire these, a passing being, in the shadow of a real being, if you busy yourself with the shadow, one of the great ones says this:
Busying oneself with shadows is a nothing; and those who busy themselves with nothing are a nothing too, he says.
Those who busy themselves with shadows are a nothing; those who busy themselves with nothings are a nothing too. So, since you cannot take (?) from this world, just as you build up this world, I'm not saying don't build it, build it, just as you build it, be one of the brave ones who can build up the hereafter, one of the champions. Don't put that place out of your mind either. In the work you take on, in the dealings you make, in your trade, in your talk with people, do not (?) the measure. In every deed, in every word, by Allah's justice, weighing it against your own conscience, judge with justice.
Act accordingly. These are the people whom neither buying nor trade keeps from the remembrance of Allah.
Their thoughts: although in this world, besides working to fulfil the body and the responsibilities our Lord has given, their real building is for the hereafter. And while building up the hereafter, saying 'I'm building my hereafter', they do not fix their eyes on palaces, mansions, villas, these splendid buildings of the hereafter, as they worship. Those people who have reformed their nafs: as long as my Lord is pleased with me, I am content with whatever comes from my Lord; Allah doesn't put on our back what we can't carry, they say, and rely on Allah. And for such servants Allah prepares His treasures there.
So such people, out of respect for Allah Almighty's commands, by their submission to Allah, express that they revere Allah Almighty's Essence; in a sense, with this verse Allah Almighty exalts them and shows these people as an example. With what? What does He say to them? These know Me with certainty. That is: and they know with certainty that in the end they will return to Him. With this verse Allah Almighty also says: these people, through reform of the nafs, have reached a certain station. And I manifested Myself to them with My Essence. And these too are in the earlier verse we mentioned: 'the learned and the angels bear witness to My existence'.
That's why I said it. These people are like this, and they are righteous servants. By showing them to us as an example: O people, if there are such people among you, what do you lack compared with them? What do you lack compared with them? We created you all the same, equal. But within your own selves, within your will, you fell into differences. Yes.
Since Allah Almighty wills no wrong to His creatures, that by knowing His divine Essence they will save themselves, this He declares with all His verses.
How will a person save himself? By not being left to punishment in the hereafter. However much torment a person suffers in this world, what happens at most? He can't bear it and dies. What happened? 3 hours, 5 hours, a minute, ten hours, ten days, whatever; he suffered and it was over. But the torment of the hereafter does not end.
So, just as in this world you protect yourself from torment, just as, when a thorn pricks any part of your body, you writhe with its pain, just as you try at once to pull it out of your body, the pain of hell's torment in the hereafter, as if you could bear it, did you endure it, have you endured it, that you've come to never think of those places? You've become indifferent. Yes. Every person, every person carries such a responsibility that if he knew the responsibility he carries, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says, people would weep much and laugh little. First of all, a person must know he is under observation at every moment.
Under observation; he must know that a video is filming him constantly. How will this work? If you freeze the image you've cast onto a camera and take your photo there; if you record onto a film the images we've cast and play it back, can't Allah Almighty, by the power of His knowledge, freeze the rays we've cast and, in the hereafter, from the time we came of age to the end of our death, I mean to the end of our life, show us all that we have done? Can He not? That's one.
I will call you to account for how you used the bodies I gave you, He says. These bodies you see will bear witness about you, bear witness, saying: he made me do this, he made me do that. Even if you go down to the seventh depth of the earth, even if you go to the remotest corner of the heavens, you can't escape that body. You are freed from that body only at the moment of death. Wherever you go, your body too will bear witness about you. Think well, be wise: either be as you appear, or appear as you are.
