Translation

Fear a Day (of punishment) in which no one can pay for another. There is also no intercession for those who deny; no compensation will be accepted from them, and there will be no help for them.

Tafsir

Beware of the torment of such a day that Allah (swt) reminds us of the day when people will be punished for their sins, when they will be gathered at the Judgment, and from there they will be transferred to the Court of Judgment. (Beware of the torment of such a day), that is, the torment of Hell, when no one will be able to pay anything on behalf of anyone. The disbelievers will have neither a friend nor an intercessor at a time when they will be alone with their deeds and sins committed in this world and with their own existence in the Hereafter. In a verse Allah says: "All their good deeds have been in vain".

People who have rebelled against Allah (swt), who have preferred the life of this world to the Hereafter, when they see the punishment there on the Day of Reckoning, if they had this world and this much more worldly wealth, and if their children and well-being were as many as these people, they would want to ransom them and get rid of them. It is such a place that in that Court-i Kübra, in the presence of Allah, the Creator of all beings, the Creator who does not need anything, the Creator who created all that He created for human beings, the Creator's property cannot be offered as ransom to the Creator. The ransom is for man's own salvation and benefit in the realm of property, man against man. Ransom is also not valid in the presence of Allah (swt). Therefore, a person who goes to the Hereafter as a disbeliever has pity on himself. For all the good deeds they have done in their rebellious behavior have been wasted. They are left alone in the presence of Allah (swt), the Judge of Judges. Therefore they have no intercessors.

What is said in the video

Verse 48. In this verse Allah Almighty says: beware of and fear such a day of torment. Beware of and fear such a day of torment. Which day is this day? In the hereafter, on the Day of Resurrection, when the great court is set up, when Allah Almighty calls people to account, and those bound for hell, in hell, the eternal abode of torment, will be subjected to the torment of an endless, unending life. Beware of this torment, He says. Fear it. No one can pay anything on behalf of anyone. That is, on that day: I love Ahmet very much. Yes. There's a broadcast here, and it went from here. Yes. I love Ahmet very much, I vouch for him; in his name let me pay such-and-such blood money, or give a ransom, and so on; it is never accepted. Such blood money, such a ransom is not valid before Allah Almighty.

Indeed, what does He say? No one can pay anything on behalf of anyone. Those sinners, those sinners, if they had not one world but two worlds full of wealth, would want to give it and be saved. They'd want to be saved. For people from whom Allah Almighty has cut off His mercy, no one will be able to show mercy or intercede. Intercede. According to the verse that says they are there without anyone and alone, Allah Almighty will leave them subjected to the eternal torment of hell. Beware of the torment of such a day, He says; no one can say anything to anyone, and the deniers get no intercession, He says.

Going as a sinner, but those who go without faith: one may go as a sinner, as a Muslim one may go as a sinner. After finally suffering his punishment, into Paradise (?) he will enter. But those who go without faith, who make the abode of eternal hell their bed, they receive no help either. Yes.

By saying 'beware of the torment of such a day', Allah Almighty, as people, in the material world, complete their lives and pass into the hereafter, reminds of the day when the people gathered at the Assembly and sent there to the great court, for their sins will be subjected to torment; this is what Allah Almighty reminds us of. So this world is nothing but a guesthouse. It is like staying at a temporary inn, staying at a hotel, an inn. Compared with the hereafter, a person's life in this world is like one, one and a half, two hours. If a thousand years here are one day of the hereafter, sixty or seventy years of a human life correspond to one, one and a half hours.

So when we pass from this temporary world to our eternal, true homeland, Allah Almighty reminds us of our place in the hereafter. He reminds us of our true homeland. O man, He says, this world, blooming in its fine-looking swamp like a (?) flower, this world you see as all rosy; that it is not lasting, that it is a temporary place of testing; 'did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are?', in answer to that verse. Know that this is a place of testing; accordingly know that your life is a treasure, and use this treasure well, He says. Allah Almighty warns us. Yes. So fear the torment of such a day, that is, the torment of hell, beware, for on that day no one can pay anything on anyone's behalf, He commands. Since Allah Almighty is the Creator, He has need of nothing; since everyone came into this world to prove what kind of person they are, with the actual deeds they have done, (?), their sins, their good and (?) evils are recorded, and in the hereafter they will be called to account with these.

Yes.

That is, beware of the torment of hell, for on that day no one, no one can pay anything on anyone's behalf, He commands. When the deniers pass into the hereafter with the good deeds and sins they committed in this world, at a time when they are left alone with their own being, they will have neither a friend nor any intercessors. When it says their own being: when left alone with the deeds they did by their own destiny, with their sins, and worse than this, by their denial of Allah, with Allah Almighty cutting off His mercy from them, no one will in any way intercede for them, be it his father, be it his dearest; from the people whom Allah has cut off His mercy, people too will cut off their mercy.

Because those people are not of them, that's why. Because the people of hell are not of the people of Paradise, that's why. That is, Noah's son rebelling against his father and not boarding the ark. Noah, to Allah Almighty, about the promise that a prophet's family would not go as sinners, (?). Yes, but he is not of you, He says. Some words come to your mind, (?). It's not as you think. Those who follow you are of you; those who don't follow you are not of you, He says. Yes. In this case, from the people whom Allah Almighty has cut off from His mercy, as I said just now, even their dearest ones will cut off their mercy, and they will be left there with no one, alone.

May Allah protect us from such a torment.

That is, beware of the torment of hell, for on that day no one can pay anything on anyone's behalf, He commands. When the deniers pass into the hereafter with the good deeds and sins they committed in this world, at a time when they are left alone with their own being, that is, left alone with their sins, they will have neither a friend nor any intercessors. In a verse Allah Almighty says: all the fine deeds they did have come to nothing, He commands. People who rebelled against Allah Almighty and preferred worldly life to the hereafter, on that Day of Reckoning, seeing the torment there, had they this world and as much worldly wealth again, and children and (?) as many as these people in number, would want to give them as ransom and be saved.

Out of fear for his own life, out of the urge to save his own self, in what he would do, if he had this world full of children, he would want to sacrifice them all, to save his life. That is such a place, I mean that great court: before Him who created all beings, the Creator who needs nothing, who created His creations for people, before that Allah, the Creator's property cannot be offered to the Creator as ransom.

Ransom, in the material world, is for a person's own deliverance and interests against another person. Before Allah Almighty, ransom is not valid either. So a person who goes to the hereafter as a denier has wronged himself. Even if the two worlds came together, the evil he has done to himself no one could do. By two worlds I mean: in the hereafter, in that (?), when covenanting with Allah Almighty, as a denier of Allah, the one who gave his pledge to Allah as a denier. The wrong he has done to himself, no one could do. Because he will be left to eternal hell. And in this world, the script he had written, as an actor playing it in the world, and again rebelling against Allah, passing into the hereafter; even if the visible and hidden worlds became enemies to people, an enemy at most kills a person, and the person is delivered.

But because of what he will keep up in the hereafter, this wrong a person has done to himself, even if the two worlds united, the evil this person has done to himself no one could do. So by his own desire and will a person either leaves himself to eternal hell torment, or becomes sultan of the eternal abode of bliss. Yes.

Before Allah Almighty, ransom is not valid either. So a person who goes to the hereafter as a denier has wronged himself. Because through their rebellious conduct, all the fine deeds they did have come to nothing. Before Allah Almighty, the Judge of judges, they are left alone. So they have no intercessors either. Yes.
