Al-Baqarah 54: Moses said to his people: “Oh, my people! You have committed oppression against yourselves by worshipping the calf. Repent immediately to your Lord and kill your nafs. This is more beneficial for you in the sight of your Lord. Allah accepted your repentance, for Allah is Tawwab (the One who accepts repentance) and Raheem (the One who very generously accepts repentance).

Moses said to his people: “Oh, my people! You have committed oppression against yourselves by worshipping the calf. Repent immediately to your Lord and kill your nafs. Allah accepted your repentance, for Allah is Tawwab (the One who accepts repentance) and Raheem (the One who very generously accepts repentance).
Tafsir
Allah (swt) created human beings as human beings, which means that human beings are fallible and make mistakes. In this respect, the people of Hazrat Moses were also surprised by the absence of Hazrat Moses. According to a narration, the devil entered the calf and made a sound, and the wicked Samir said, "This is your god," and the Children of Israel believed in it and worshipped it as a god. When Hazrat Moses returned from his prayer with his Lord and saw his people worshipping the calf, he told them that they had wronged their souls and to repent immediately. The people of Israel realized their mistake and repented. Thereupon, Allâhu ta'âlâ, the Most Accepting of repentance, accepted their repentance.
What is said in the video
Then Moses said to his people who worshipped the calf: O my people, by worshipping the calf you have wronged yourselves. Repent at once to your Creator, repent, and kill your selves. This that you will do is better for you in the sight of your Creator, he had said, and Allah had accepted their repentance. For He is the One who accepts repentance often, the Most Merciful. As I said a moment ago, Allah Almighty, through His verses, that His Essence is at-Tawwab, and that He has power over all things, and that a written scenario is played out, that every person proves what kind of person they are, and that they be a good example to those who come after: in order to make this known, He gives us historical lessons here, historical.
Allah Almighty created people with human nature. That is, people get confused and make mistakes. For this reason the people of Moses too were confused by Moses' absence. According to one narration, Satan entered the calf and made it give a sound, and the sinful Samiri said, this is your god; upon this the Children of Israel believed it and worshipped it as a god. After Moses returned from his intimate prayer with his Lord, when he saw his people worshipping the calf, he told them they had wronged their own selves and should repent at once. The people of the Children of Israel understood their mistake and repented.
Upon this, Allah (?), who accepts repentance often, accepted their repentance. Yes. In this situation Allah Almighty tells us that His Essence is at-Tawwab, that He accepts repentance often.
