Translation

Enter that city (Jerusalem) and eat from the provisions abundantly; enter through its gate prostrating and say; “hitta!” so that We will accept your repentance. We had said that We will increase the reward for the muhsin (believing, obedient servants).

Tafsir

Allah (swt) brought the Children of Israel out of the land of Tih, saved them from their hardships, and sent them to the city of Jerusalem, which was abundant in blessings. He orders them to say hitta and prostrate themselves as they enter the gates of this city.

O Children of Israel! Eat and drink freely of what Allah has bestowed upon you, provided you do not exceed the limit. If you keep Allah's commandments, Allah will increase His bounty upon you. Allah's promise is true. One of the verses says: "Whoever is as faithful to his covenant as Allah is faithful to his covenant".

Allah (swt) does not need His creation. The created objects are created for the needs of people. If people remembered the blessings that our Lord had bestowed upon them when they bought the objects that they needed and thanked Allah (swt) for them, our Lord would increase their rewards many times over because they thanked Allah (swt) for His Glory. For such is the will of our Lord. Whoever does good, We will increase their reward.

What is said in the video

We come to verse 58 of Surah Al-Baqarah. Enter this city of Jerusalem and eat abundantly of the blessings you wish. Eat abundantly; look, they ask for the blessings they wish, don't they; eat abundantly. Give up the quail meat too, sir, give up the manna too if you are tired of it; go there, eat abundantly there. Allah sends it, Allah. It is not Ahmet or Mehmet who sends this. The Owner of the worlds sends this. What does it say? Enter this city of Jerusalem and eat abundantly of the blessings you wish. Enter its gate prostrating and say 'hitta', so that We forgive your sins. We had said: We will increase the reward of those who do good even more, it says.

So what is it? We said it a moment ago too.

No one can say that, in return for the actual deeds he does, one gets this much reward or this much sin. But what does Allah Almighty say? We will increase the reward even more, He says. According to what? To the qualities within the deeds you have done. But people who do not know themselves: if you pray, 10 tons of reward; if you do that, 20 tons of reward; if you do this, 50 tons of reward. By what measure do you say that? Who are you? How do you decide in place of Allah Almighty? What are you deciding? Don't you know that by saying this you commit shirk? But for you shirk does not matter. For you, the passion to be the head, and the whims of the nafs, and according to this verse: have you not seen the one who deifies his nafs, you know very well you are in the state of the people it speaks of, but you cannot escape it.

Yes, Allah Almighty brings the Children of Israel out of the desert of Tih, saves them from the hardships they endured, sends them to the city of Jerusalem, rich in blessings, and tells them: when going in through the gate of this city, say 'hitta' and enter prostrating; so He commands. O Children of Israel, of the blessings Allah has granted you, on condition of not exceeding the limits, eat and drink in good health; if you keep Allah's commands, Allah will increase His favour upon you. Allah's promise is true. In this verse He declares: who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah. Yes. What did these do?

When going in there, they changed the word 'hitta' into 'hinta'. Hinta. Sir, here: you say it, we heard, in our hearts we denied, in that sense. Hinta. They say (?). And this much; this is now baseness. Spoiledness and defiance of Allah. Although our Lord's calamity was due upon them, Allah Almighty, with His attribute, to leave them as an example for the people to come after, lays out His verses before us.

Allah Almighty has no need of His creatures. Created things were created for people's needs. If a person, while taking the things he needs, remembers the blessings his Lord has offered him and gives thanks to Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty, because he thanked Him, multiplies that person's reward many times over. Because our Lord's promise is thus: whoever comes with good, We will increase his reward even more, He declares. If they had kept what He said, these would perhaps have been, on earth, the rulers of the earth. They would have been the rulers of the earth. But because of their obstinacy and rebellion, they were cursed.

You may ask me a question like this: Hodja, aren't these the rulers of the earth today? Among people who know themselves, they are not the rulers of the earth; they are people who have taken upon themselves the misery of the earth and Allah's curse, if you ask me. Yes, at the head of many states there are Masons. Masons run them. Within that state, they try to buy the people at the top by every kind of means. In this case, at the head of the states you see, of many states, there are Masons. They are equipped with the Masonic organization.

They appear to be the rulers of the earth. But what did I say a moment ago: among people who know themselves, these are cursed people. Now, I am walking around with Mehmet Efendi. Mehmet Efendi is in the position of my superior. I have put on beautiful, spotless clothes, and I have put on fine scents; I am walking beside my superior. Who is my superior? A Jew. And he has dressed in such a way that he stinks like carrion, carrion. Sir, you can barely hold yourself back from plugging your nose. So you have poured on essence to block his smell. Now, someone who sees us from across, does he go to the one who stinks like carrion?

Or does he approach the spotless person? So these are the carrion of the earth. Cursed people. A mass (?) on earth.

Therefore they are not the rulers of the earth; in the eyes of those who know themselves, they are the accursed of the earth.

Now, all of them? Let us return to the verse. We answer with verses. Among them there are those who pray, fast and give zakat, it says. We do not say all of them.

What does this mean? Among them there are also Muslims, but they cannot reveal themselves. If they come out into the open, within their own ideologies they do not let that person live, they excommunicate him. For this reason, because they are afraid, they cannot speak up. But they pray, they fast and they give zakat.

Indeed, as it says in the verse: except for a few among them, it says. Those who turn back.

So whoever does good, ve men ya'mel miskâle zerretin hayran yerah: whoever does an atom's weight of good, and ve men ya'mel miskâle zerretin şerran yerah: whoever does an atom's weight of evil, these will be written down. And they will see the return for it. What does Allah Almighty say? According to the verse 'who is truer to his word than Allah', rewards will be increased according to intentions. Sins will stay one for one, by Allah's mercy, one for one. But rewards will be increased because of our Lord's mercy. Because Allah Almighty has the attribute of justice. Whatever you did, He will give you its return.

He will not increase the punishment of your sin. He will give its return. But He will increase the return of your good deed. Because Allah, whose mercy is abundant, always wants to see us in good states; by giving us generous gifts He encourages us to do good.
