Translation

The hypocrites from the Jews say, “We also are believers” upon encountering those who believe. When they are in solitude among each other, they say, “Are you telling them what Allah revealed to you so that there is proof among you in the sight of your Lord?” Are you not able to think about these?

Tafsir

When these people meet believers, they say, 'We are believers too. However, they are not believers. They are only hypocrites who say that they are with them in order not to spoil their current state of affairs and not to be accused of anything. And when they are alone with each other, that is, with their followers, they say, 'Do you tell them what Allah has revealed to you so that they may bring evidence against you? In other words, we are falsifying the verses so that they will not be heard, so that we can say that Allah did not send such a thing, we did not hear it. But you are accusing us in the sight of Allah by telling them what Allah has sent, by making them witnesses against us for these Verses which we would deny. They say, "Can't you think of these things?

The fact that people who think that what they say will be a proof against themselves in the sight of Allah (swt), and that they are so spiteful against Allah (swt) that they cannot think that Allah (swt) is all-seeing and all-knowing, shows that their clairvoyance is closed and that they are so mired in darkness that they cannot see the truth. Such people create mischief and mischief in the earth and wreak havoc. They commit mischief in the earth and oppress those around them. If they go to the Hereafter as disbelievers without repenting, they will be eternal inhabitants of Hell.

What is said in the video

When they meet the believers, they say: we too are believers. Now these are their hypocrites. When they are alone with one another, they say: do you tell them what Allah has made known to you, so that they bring it as proof against you before your Lord? Can you not think about this? they say. He both knows, and, having learned from them what was made known to you before Allah, do you want to make yourselves witnesses? he says. Beware, do not go near.

These people, when they meet people, say: we too are believers. Here, with the believers, these people, when they meet the believers, say: we too are believers. Yet they are not believers. Who are they? They are hypocrites. Why do they say to them: we too are among the believers? Surely they have something to gain from it. They have interests. They are hypocrites who say they are with them only so as not to spoil their state at that moment and so that nothing is attributed to them.

These are very proud. When you step on their nafs-driven feelings, they get very upset. But because they are in great panic, in fear, they say nothing. The moment they find the chance, they tear you apart. These are hypocrites.

And when they are alone with one another, with their supporters, they say: do you tell them what Allah has made known to you, so that they bring it as proof about you? That is: we distort the verses so that these are not heard. That is what we do. Allah did not send any such thing. So that we can say we did not hear it. That is how we do it. Yet you, by telling them what Allah has sent, by making them witnesses against us to these verses we will deny, you accuse us before Allah. Can you not think about this? they say.

In fact, their telling, they meet those believers, you see. The believers tell them, you see. And they say: yes, this is so. That is, they want a witness from you too.

The moment he does not believe. Of course, the moment he does not believe. So they too: why do you go to them? You talk like this. And they: you accuse us. People who can think that what they tell before Allah will be a proof against them, look at that mind, that mind, he can think of this. People who can think that what they tell before Allah will be a proof against them, their resentment towards Allah, so great that they cannot think that Allah Almighty sees and knows everything, shows that their insight has closed and that they are sunk in such darkness that they cannot see the truth, such people are people who stir up fitna and mischief on the earth and drown everything in (?).

He himself can understand that much. By telling these things you are making them witnesses against us. If you can think this far, can your Lord not know all your talk, every second of yours?

Do you not know that, within your partial will, He gave you the will of your wishes and desires as destiny? Do you not know the day when all your selves will taste death and you will come before your Lord in the Hereafter? They know all of it. But their insight is so closed, they have so desired the state of the world, they have given their destinies to such a course contrary to Allah, that although they know all of it they cannot give up the world. They cannot give up their nafs-driven feelings. Yes.
