For those who fear that the person leaving the will makes an error or commits a sin, and reconciles the two parties, there is no sin for him. Verily, Allah is Ghafoor (Forgiving) and Raheem (the One who very generously accepts repentance).
Tafsir
When the testator makes a will to those who are listening to the will, and the testator is angry with the person who has a right over him, and he does injustice to the heir, or deprives him of his property, or does injustice to him by not giving him what he is entitled to, or by giving him less, then there is no sin on those who are listening to the will, and when they know the truth of the matter, they should warn the testator and reconcile the two of them and divide the property fairly, and there is no sin on them. (Verily, Allah is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful). Allah (swt) warns people with each other so that they do not come against each other with injustice. He forbids them from committing sins. Allah forgives the sins of those who abstain and increases their rewards in Allah's presence.
At the same time, Allah (swt) is very merciful. In order for people to complete their lives within a certain period of time, they benefit from the mercy of Allah (swt) by being provided for under His Merciful attribute.
What is said in the video
Verse 182 Who? Of the one making the bequest. Of the one making the bequest. Look how beautiful. When those people of the bequest realize he has made a mistake, they need to remind him of what is right. The man. Now the verse. Whoever fears that the testator has made an error or committed a sin, and sets things right between the two parties, between the two parties, because he is falling into sin. That the testator made an error or fears he committed a sin. Who will fear? Those writing the bequest. Those writing the bequest. Fears, and sets things right between the two parties. I mean, if he tells him what is right: you are being unjust.
Look, this must be like this and this; if he says so, there is no sin on him. Surely Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, it says. Yes. How beautiful. It cleanses a person of sin. It does not make that person change his bequest; it makes the right known to that person. And when that person grasps the right, follows the people to whom he will make the bequest, and writes it under their guidance, then on that person there is no sin, it says. When the testator, to those hearing the bequest, about to whom he will leave his wealth, makes a bequest, the testator, following his nafs, out of anger at a person, against those who have a right over him, wrongs his heir.
He does this. These are all words written with the feelings our Lord gave us. Those feelings.
If he bars him from his wealth, or does not give his heir his due share, or wrongs that person by giving little, and the people hearing this bequest, when they see all sides of the matter, warn the testator, reconcile the two and have his wealth divided fairly, then there is no sin on these persons. And beautiful. Surely Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. Why? The Most Forgiving, Most Merciful created our reason incomplete.
With an incomplete reason we are in a struggle with the feelings of the nafs. In this situation the fear of Allah is inside us too; constantly, like a wrestler in leather breeches, we are in a struggle with our nafs. In this situation sometimes we pin our nafs to the ground, sometimes that nafs of ours pins our reason to the ground. In this situation we get swept away by a current. Allah Almighty, knowing these situations, says: when you, in fear of your Lord, act by observing My command, I forgive your sins. In this respect Allah Almighty is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forgiving, and also Most Merciful; He knows our characters are weak, and He protects us greatly.
From every kind of disaster, every kind of event.
Allah Almighty, so that people, by doing injustice, do not come before them, makes people warn one another. What does it say? Allah Almighty, so that people, by doing injustice, do not come before Allah Almighty, makes people warn one another. We could correct this further, but we have said it this way: Allah Almighty, so that people, by doing injustice, do not come before them; it is understood anyway, no need to correct it. He makes people warn one another. He keeps them from the sins they would commit. Forgiving the sins of those who guard against Allah, in the divine presence He increases their rewards. How beautiful.
At the same time Allah Almighty is Most Merciful. So that people can complete their lives within a certain time, under Allah Almighty's attribute of mercy they are given sustenance and benefit from His mercy.
