Whether We show you a part of what We promise to them (the punishment) or whether We make you die (before that), your only duty is to proclaim. It is up to Us to call them to account (to judge)..

Tafsir

Since the Prophet (PBUH) came as a mercy to the worlds, he wanted all people to believe. In this respect, knowing that the fate of polytheists and those who disbelieve in Allah is fire, the Prophet (PBUH) wanted them to be saved by showing them the straight path of Allah. In this respect, day and night, without rest, at every opportunity, he was informing people of Allah's commands and sending messengers to the states and tribes of the world to inform them about the religion of Islam. In this context, he was worried that the people whom he failed to convey or whom he was late in conveying would be sued by those who had passed on to the hereafter.

Allah (swt) says that if We show you some of the torment that We have promised them, it means that the place of those who made a bad covenant with Allah in the first Berzah (in Qalubala) is Hell, and that the place of these people who will come until the Day of Judgment is known to Allah, and that there is nothing hidden in the sight of Allah, since the place of all people is also known where they will go.

He informs you that it would not have changed even if We had killed you before that, and that the purpose of all creation and mankind is to declare to Allah in a certain program. Your duty, Habibim, is only to convey the message. You are not able to change the destiny of these people. Since We, the Almighty, have written their will as their destiny, We will not change their destiny, but We will hold everyone to account for the actions they have committed in accordance with their will. He says: "We will give them the rewards they deserve.

And our duty is that when these people made a covenant with us, we wrote down the feelings and intentions of those who betrayed us in this covenant, those who do not recognize us as Lord, as fate for them. They are doing the same thing in this world as well. Therefore, they will not change. Therefore, he says, do not grieve.

People have written their destiny in their covenant with Allah (swt). For a lifetime, people are the performers of the script they will play in the world, the fulfillment of their destiny written there.

What is said in the video

Whether We show you some of the punishment We promised them, or take your life before that, yours is only to convey, it says.

And Ours is to call to account, it says. How beautifully it says it. If Allah is the Lord of the worlds, if from the atom to the globe He created all these worlds from nothing, and if He is the absolute power and owner of these worlds, Allah Almighty, and if He has made people addressees of His Essence and sent them on earth to be servants to His Essence and the community of His Beloved, then it falls to Muhammad (peace be upon him) to convey Allah's command. And it falls to the Owner of the worlds to call them to account. To the Owner of the worlds. So, in the verse Allah Almighty says: on that day judgement belongs to Allah alone.

At the Supreme Court. As the Judge of judges, on that day judgement belongs to Allah alone. So the duty that falls to people: our Lord commands us to enjoin the good on one another.

To the prophets, to the scholars too, He commands to explain Allah, to explain Allah, and the verse says so too. Who is sweeter of speech than the one who explains Allah, it says; sweet of speech. In this case, so that people won't say we didn't hear, when Allah Almighty says: for a thing I have not made heard I call no one to account, He certainly makes it heard to people. Those who make it heard fulfill their duty.

How do they fulfill it? Can I make it heard to everyone? Not possible. So the telling is ours; making it heard is Allah's. To Abraham too: O Abraham, My House, He says, build it up. He builds up the House. Now call My servants here. Oh my Allah, he says, how far will my voice reach? The calling is yours, making it heard is Mine, says Allah Almighty. He is the Owner of these worlds. He makes it heard to everyone. The duty of scholars and prophets is only to explain. Look, that is exactly what it says. What does it say? Even if We take your life before that, yours is only to convey, it says. This conveying is his part. Because making heard belongs to Allah alone.

And Ours is to call to account, it says. Since the Prophet (peace be upon him) came as a mercy to the worlds, he wanted all people to believe. All people. Therefore, knowing that the end of the polytheists and of those who deny Allah is the Fire, the Prophet (peace be upon him), by showing them Allah's true, straight path, wished them to attain salvation. Therefore, day and night, without rest, at every opportunity, making Allah's commands known to people, sending to the world's states and tribes messengers, he had the religion of Islam conveyed.

Those messengers, let's call them couriers, would go to their destination hungry, thirsty, without rest, night and day, riding their horses hard. What was the reason? What if I dawdle on the way there, and someone on his deathbed is about to accept Islam, and I dawdle on the road for my own sake and fail to get this news to him and become accountable; so night and day, without eating or drinking, he rode on to convey the message; he would go to his destination, he would arrive. Yes. This is how they lived the religion of Islam. And this is how they passed it on down to us.

We became Muslims in word. In word. With our way of life we have come to a state that would make non-Muslims envious. and what state will our children after us come to? yes. For 1430 years, our ancestors who conveyed the religion to us fulfilled their duties; and we (?): oh, let our children sleep, don't interrupt their sleep. Oh, we suffered, let our children not suffer. Let them lie down, let them sleep. We gathered without regard to halal or haram; we will leave it to them as inheritance.

Then it is halal for him, but you will be the one to give account for it. Just as you deemed the world fit for your child, this transient world whose place is fire, this world that will enter hell, just as you deemed this world fit for your child, had you deemed Paradise in the hereafter fit for your son too, you would not have made your son long for this world's transient conditions, made your child, your offspring long for them, and made that child turn his back on Allah.

Hodja, don't you say that everyone has a destiny, we can't change it? We say so, but alongside this, to raise our children up to a certain age, Allah has placed that obligation on us. We will raise those children up to a certain age; after that, if he stands on his own feet and still has turned his back on Allah: you are your children's shepherds. Until death, whenever you find an opportunity, you will warn him. Look what it says: whenever you find an opportunity, not constantly. If you do it constantly, he will rebel. What does opportunity mean? Say the child is angry with the father. Whatever he says, he does the opposite.

Well, sometimes a time comes when a softer mood arises. There, an opportunity has arisen. Son, look, we have a Lord who created us. We eat, we drink. We will thank Him. Tomorrow we will be called to account before Him: that is how to remind him of Allah. Yes. So we are their shepherds until death.

But which of us abides by this? Very rarely. Very rarely.

Now it has come back, and I will make a connection. A connection. Today we live in the state of the Republic of Turkey.

This is not politics. I am telling the truth. Our state's opening to the outside world, its rise; the non-Muslims who cannot stomach it surrounding Turkey both from inside and outside; in the most bitter case, as Atatürk said, in the gravest case, he says, from within, he says, there are those who devour and destroy the state, he says, from within. In this case certain mindsets have coiled themselves in, a state within the state, and have pushed the state toward a coup. A coup. In the past they made coups with soldiers. Now they are trying to do it with a civilian coup. In this case, if we are Muslims, if we want to stand up for this homeland, if we live Islam too, everything is out in the open, transparent.

In this case, since, Muslim brother, since, if one believer cannot share the state of another believer, his faith has not been perfected, in this homeland, up to now, a state that will live on, its nation: if one stands up for them, and we, with the feeling of Islam, with the feeling of brotherhood, cannot be one body, one wrist, one fist, then think about your faith yourself.

Think about your faith yourself.

Ask yourself who you are.

Yes.

So, Allah Almighty saying to us: We will show you part of the punishment We promised them, makes known that the place of those who, (?) at Qalu Bala, gave Allah a bad covenant is the fire of hell, and that the places of these people to come until the Day of Judgement are known to Allah, and that, since where all people will go is also known, nothing is hidden with Allah. And even if We take your life before this, nothing will change; that the intents of all created beings and people are declared to Allah within a certain program, it makes known. My Beloved, the only duty that falls to you is to convey.

You are not capable of changing these people's destinies. Since We, (?), wrote their own wishes for them as destiny, even We do not change their destinies, and We will call everyone to account by the deeds he committed within his own intent. In the end We will give them the reward they deserve, it says. So, in the duty that falls to us: these people, when making a covenant with (?), in this covenant, those who betrayed Us, those who did not recognize Us as Lord, their feelings and intents We wrote for them exactly as destiny. They do the same thing in this world too. So there is no changing them.

Therefore do not grieve, it says. So, people had their destinies written when they made a covenant with Allah Almighty. People, for a lifetime in this world, of the scenario they will play in the world, as its actors, are the counterparts of the destinies written there.
