Translation

We have sent all Prophets in the language of their people so that they would openly explain to them (Allah’s orders). Now, those who desire from Allah go astray and those who desire enter the right path. And Allah is Azeez (Exalted) and Hakeem (Ultimately-Wise).

Tafsir

Allah (swt) has sent Prophets to all tribes from amongst themselves so that people may understand the commands and prohibitions of Allah (swt). Allah (swt) also raised the Prophets. He made them the most eloquent people among their people. When Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' had a lisp in his tongue, he asked his brother Harun 'alaihis-salâm' to help him. It is clear from this incident that Allah has raised up people who are eloquent and can speak to people's hearts and sent them as messengers to make sure that His verses and commands are well understood by people.

This means that the Prophets within the tribes were sent in the language of their own tribes, so that people would not say to Allah that the messengers you sent could not tell us their problems by putting two words together, so that we could recognize you and not fall behind in worship. With the coming of the Qur'an to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in Arabic, since Arabic, which is the richest language, is close to the Word of Allah, and since all human beings know Arabic in their origins, that is, in the spirit world, the Qur'an was given by revelation to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who will never come as a Prophet again, and it was given to all human beings. This is why Allah says, "We have revealed it in Arabic so that the Qur'an may be well understood.

Thus, Allah makes His existence known to all tribes in their own language. With the most recent Qur'an, besides the fact that all people originally knew Arabic, the Qur'an, by coming down in Arabic, addresses the hearts and minds of all people. Whoever then recognizes Allah and seeks His guidance will be guided by the light of Allah. And whoever wills to stay away from Allah and turns his back on Him, he will have strayed from the right path of his own will and desire. He is far from the mercy of Allah and is destined for Hell, the place of eternal evil return. For Allah is all-powerful and all-wise. No power can oppose Him. Allah has created His creatures under His sovereignty. Allah is the owner of wisdom. He knows what He does and why He does it. Nothing is hidden from Him that He is not aware of. In His sight, the light of the day is the same as the darkness of the night. The lowest layer of the earth and the remotest corner of the heavens are one for Him.

What is said in the video

Surah Ibrahim, verse 4, the verse. Let's see: Verse 4 of Surah Ibrahim was interpreted wrongly.

Let's see where it was interpreted wrongly.

The fourth verse of Surah Ibrahim. We read the part that was interpreted wrongly. To you: so that he may explain Allah's commands to them clearly, We sent every prophet only with his own people's language, it says. Then Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills to the right path.

Can this be right now? That is, Allah will lead astray whom He wills and guide whom He wills to the right path. Then, since Allah Almighty was leading astray whom He willed, and here there is an accusation against Allah Almighty, an accusation; among His servants there is (?); since Allah Almighty was going to lead astray whom He willed and guide whom He willed to the right path, Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, what need was there for that verse? Why did He make a covenant with people, why their wishes and desires did He write for them as destiny, why did He leave them, in their own will, free? Now does this hold together at all? Make it up and say it, that's it. Had he given the original text, it would have a place of honor with me. Well, what is this?

Here you have ascribed attributes to Allah. In the original text you say what I say. You say what I say. So, you, by occupying that position, saying I know Arabic, twisting Allah's verses as you interpret them and ascribing attributes to Allah: does it befit that position? Maybe it befits you. Maybe it befits that knowledge of yours, that head of yours. But does it befit the station of guidance?

Yes.

So that he may explain Allah's commands to them clearly, We sent every prophet only with his own people's language, it says. To no one did they say: You knew Arabic; you have no Arabic, so you are no prophet; they did not say that. Yes. He sent each prophet with his own people's language. So Allah Almighty also sends every scholar to his own people, in his own language.

Yes.

So whoever wills goes astray from Allah. And whoever wills takes the right path. How fine. Within man's own will. Because He is the Owner of power and wisdom. He is the one who created us. He is our Lord. He does no injustice among His servants. What everyone earns is the return of his own two hands. Today, it says, so that no one is wronged, what you have earned as the return of your own two hands will be given to you in full, it says. In full. So according to this verse, if you get up and say Allah leads astray whom He wills, what I earned, my own will, removing it from me, Allah Almighty exercises His rule over my will and makes me do evil: then what does He want from me?

Because He is the Owner of power.

I will record an atom's weight of good, He says. zerratin şerran yerah. An atom's weight of evil I will record too, He says. So if Allah Almighty is going to lead me astray, then what I have done, the atom's weight of good and the atom's weight of evil, why would He do that?

Now, is the error here the error in these people's thinking? Or the error in Allah's injustice? Whoever looks for a flaw in Allah, let him look for the flaw and error in his own nafs. Yes.

Isn't that so, dear mother? It is, Hodja. May Allah be pleased with you. You distinguish it very well. How well it is distinguished here.

So that people explain Allah's commands and prohibitions well. (?) Allah Almighty sent to all peoples prophets from among themselves.

Allah Almighty also raised the prophets. He made them into people who could speak best among their people. Now we put our finger on this. What are we saying? He made them into people who could speak best among their people. You might ask me this question: Moses had a lisp and couldn't speak well. Now aren't you talking nonsense? When you say that: lisping in speech is one thing. The beautiful speech of people who, without contradicting what they say, show the straight path with Allah's verses is another. (?) (?) Were you able to get it across? Yes. I may speak with a lisp. I may stutter. But if, according to the verses, with words that don't contradict each other I enlighten people, no one will say I speak stammeringly.

They'll say: How well he explains. That is what speaking well is.

Yes.

Allah Almighty has (?) the prophets. He made them into people who could speak best among their people. Because Moses (peace be upon him) had a lisp, he asked for his brother Aaron (peace be upon him) from Allah Almighty as his helper. From this event it is understood that, so that Allah's verses and commands are well understood by people, He raised people who speak beautifully and can address people's hearts and sent them to people as messengers. Messengers. Able to address the heart.

As I was writing this, Hacı Bayram Veli in Ankara came to my mind.

Hacı Bayram Veli is raised by his teacher. Scholars raise him. They say: From now on you will give the fatwa. He says: I can't give fatwa. Well, son, you've surpassed us, you've risen above us; if you don't give the fatwa, who will, he says. Hodja, I can't, he says. Then go to Bursa, he says; in Bursa there are such and such teachers; let them, he says, take you as a student and be your teachers. On his teacher's advice he goes to Bursa and reaches his teachers. His teachers see that the one before them is an ocean. They say to Hacı Bayram Veli: We have nothing to give you. From now on you will give the fatwa.

They press him. Hodja, he says, I don't have that language.

I don't have a language that will address people's hearts, he says. At that moment there is a knock at the door. Is Hacı Bayram Veli here? He is. Somuncu Baba in Kayseri is calling him, he says.

They take him; he doesn't even ask where he is going: to Kayseri, to Somuncu Baba. After he is raised, after being raised there, he comes back and starts to teach. Now, he says, there is a language that addresses the heart, he says. Yes. Talking superficially, learning from Tom, Dick and Harry, thinking the (?) are correct, and being ruled by superstitions and telling people false things does not mean addressing people's hearts.

Addressing the heart: with an inner, Sufi, spiritual knowledge, when you explain Allah's true words, Allah guides His light into those hearts.

Let me tell you this much. This is the secret of it. A person here fully understands the words of someone who speaks like that. Because Allah explains it to his heart. He guides him to it, makes it known to him. Once out of the door, he forgets.

Because he is not at that level, he cannot keep it. Yes.

So that people would not say to Allah Almighty: The messengers You sent couldn't put two words together, they could not tell us their message so that we could know You and not fall short in worship; so that they would not say this, the prophets among the peoples, with their own people's language, were sent. With their own people's language. Now if I had broken Turkish, what would I explain to you?

Instead of saying "Come here", if I said "He's coming here" or "I'm coming", would you understand anything from that? (?) Calling the person opposite is one thing, your going over there is another. Yes. So, in this way, so that they convey to people, in the best way, the word into their hearts, Allah Almighty raises them, and as the elder of their people, as its father, He sends them to their people.

And with the Quran coming in Arabic to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), since all people know Arabic in origin, that is, in the realm of souls, and the richest language, Arabic, is close to Allah's word, the Holy Quran too, to the one after whom no prophet will come again, the Seal of the Prophets, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), being given by revelation means its being given to all people. To all people. Some people make big mistakes. I'm not taking swipes behind the backs of the hodjas in the mosques, but such hodjas should correct their words. He says the Quran was revealed to us.

To Muslims. He says the Prophet is the prophet of the Muslims.

Such a person exposes his own ignorance. He proves he knows nothing of the verses. Such people should be careful. The Prophet (peace be upon him) came to the worlds. He is a mercy to the worlds. The Quran, too, came to the worlds. Whoever wills is ruled by the Quran. And whoever wills turns his back. Allah does not say: I sent the Quran to the Muslim; you, a disbeliever, cannot read the Quran. What does He say? To each of you, as the Lord of each of you, and as the Lord of the worlds too, as the Owner of all I have created from the atom to the sphere, as the Owner of this dominion and of all existence, I have sent you, as the last, the Seal of the Prophets, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as prophet; I have sent My word, the Holy Quran, to all of you; whoever is ruled by it enters My friends' path, the straight path; and whoever, He says, turns his back on it continues on a path of error, He says.

Yes.

That's why the Quran came to the worlds, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to the worlds as prophet.

Hodja, so many prophets came.

If he came to them, to the worlds, then why didn't he explain? Why didn't he come then too? You might say. Such a question may come to your mind. Allah Almighty gives the answer to that too. I, you, a witness over all the prophets. A witness over all the prophets. And I will make your community a witness over the other communities, He says. So if he is a witness over the prophets, the prophet whose time had come being sent to his own people, for the Prophet to be able to bear witness to that prophet, he must know his character in order to bear witness.

So in the time of all the prophets too, with Allah Almighty saying "remember" to the Prophet, the prophets; since he will bear witness to the prophets too, a mercy to the worlds has come. You cannot call him the Muslims' prophet. He is the prophet of the worlds. He is the prophet of humans and jinn. Although, since He says We send you prophets from among yourselves, from yourselves, from your own kind We send prophets, He says. Now the topic is scattering a bit, but let's put a point here and step a little outside the topic. Let's prove some things. In the verse: whatever you are, it says, We send you a prophet of your own kind, it says. Right? Right.

To humans He sent prophets of the human kind. To angels too He sent prophets of the angel kind. Who are these prophets? Israfil, Michael, Gabriel, Azrael. Four prophets. What are they? Angels, aren't they? Then if Gabriel is an angel, how is he a spirit?

How do you call Gabriel a spirit? The verse is explicit. Whatever you are, it says, We send you a prophet of your own kind. If angels are created from light, from light, and in this light Gabriel, Michael, Israfil, Azrael are their prophets, they are not created from there (?). So with what knowledge, with what verse do you call Gabriel a spirit?

Aren't you ashamed?

Hodja, our hodja too, at the mosque every Friday: Allah Almighty placed the Quran in his heart through Gabriel. This person falls into such great kufr. I can't say it. You will say to him like this, you will show him this verse. We will reveal the Quran into your heart, and you will never forget. What kind of mistake are these people in? So they've made us swallow superstitions. They have tried to do away with Allah's glory. They get Allah taken lightly so that they can make Jesus His son and Mary His wife. That is the scheme anyway. That's why the core points, the core points, they have twisted within their own meanings.

If you ask the disbelievers: Allah created me this way. What does He want from me, he says, He created me this way. He'll commit every kind of vice and filth. He'll buy the key to Paradise from his priest. Or he'll go to his priest, and his priest will absolve his sins. Instead of Allah, his priest will decide for him. And in this way he will live his worldly life inhumanly, indecently, more basely than animals, and in the end go to Paradise. Is there such a thing? Those who say: If the Quran, you know, its original text, had been there, it would be like that, making Allah be described in this way, making Allah be described in this way, in errors, with Allah Almighty leading people astray and guiding them to the right path, exactly they have instilled the non-Muslim's way of thinking into Muslims.

The non-Muslim way of thinking. These are places done consciously and deliberately. Yes. May Allah reform them. Yes, what I explain doesn't suit these people. Whom doesn't it suit? It doesn't suit the one with thousands, millions of students behind him, because when that student listens he'll see the truth and see that his teacher is wrong; to people in a certain position it won't be convenient; therefore these superstitions will unite and take a stand against the truth. But let them know well that the truth has come and falsehood has vanished.

Yes.

We speak with verses.

To those poor people who, with that small, partial reason of the human mind, are ruled by superstitions and stand against the Truth, and to satisfy their feelings of the nafs want to turn the straight path of Allah's friendship into crooked, twisted paths, to them we answer with verses. Our proof is the verses. We do not consider the fabricated books people have written as proof. Our proof is the hadiths of Allah's Messenger and the Holy Quran. Allah's, Allah Almighty's hadiths, the hadiths of His Messenger too, not the ones they have turned into superstitions. I have sifted 953 hadiths.

I'll make roughly one volume per thousand. That's how they decided. We said one volume per thousand hadiths. They said it. We said: Okay, let's do it that way. About 47 are left to reach a thousand. 47, that is, in 4 days I'll have finished a thousand hadiths, inshallah. Yes. So I call out this to people. I recommend it. If you are doing a service, then for its reward strive.

If you are doing a service, at the root of this service, distinguishing truth and right and taking your place beside the truth is what I recommend. If, saying I serve Allah, I inform people with superstitions, tomorrow at that Great Tribunal, on that day of which He said the judgment is Allah's alone, before Allah Almighty, who is "Eleysallahu bi-ahkemi'l-hâkimîn", what answer will you give? How will you answer?

Yes.

That's why I also tell you this. Every breath you take, and this life of yours, is a treasure for you; our life is a treasure for us. If the command of the Truth befalls us, we will go to a realm from which there is no return. Having proven what kind of person we are, when we pass to the Hereafter, a day when we say: My Allah, send us back once more, look how we will worship; remembering that, for the sake of that day of no return, this day, see it as very precious.

On this, the Messenger of Allah says in a hadith: Do not long for death. One moment of your staying in the world is better than, under the earth, he says, lying for a thousand years. Why so? Because Allah Almighty, an unknown treasure, wanted His (?) to be known. He gave us a soul from a part of Himself, and willed that our Lord be known through our own will. If we say Allah once on earth, it is better than lying a thousand years under the earth. We conform to Allah Almighty's purpose of creation. Yes.

So our life is a treasure. Let us make good use of it.

What are we saying? And with the Quran coming in Arabic to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), since all people know Arabic in origin, that is, in the realm of souls, and the richest language, Arabic, is close to Allah's word, the Holy Quran, to the one after whom no prophet will come again, the Seal of the Prophets, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), being given by revelation means its being given to all people. For this reason Allah says of the Quran: So that it is well understood, We sent it down in Arabic. Why, so that it is understood better? I speak Italian. Another speaks Russian.

Another speaks German. I speak Turkish. Well, since the Arabs speak Arabic, and He sent it down in their language, isn't there an injustice here? No. Your "no" can't be wishful thinking. Prove it. In origin, in the realm of lahut, when our Lord created us, when He gave us a part of His spirit, we all know Arabic. In origin we know Arabic. In this world, the guesthouse we have come to, our speaking Persian, Turkish, English, German, so that our knowledge among ourselves is better, so that within our agreement, within our conversation, we can understand each other, we speak our own language. According to where we are.

But in origin, in our true homeland, we all know Arabic. We all know it. So Allah Almighty: so that it is better understood, in Arabic We sent it. That is, Arabic is there in origin.

Now listen well. If they read the Quran, let the Quran be read, let them bring together the English, the French, the Italians, the Germans, people of various states in the world, and let them read the Quran. It addresses the conscience of all of them, of all of them. And they say: We have never heard such a thing. That is, such a beautiful thing we have never heard, we were moved, they say. Where does this feeling come from? It comes from the origin and from the soul's knowing Arabic. Yes.

For this reason, so that the Quran could be better understood, We sent it down in Arabic, Allah says. If you pay attention to all languages, they have spread out from the Arabic root. Yes. All languages, for example, in many places: in Arabic mother, in German mother, in English mother. It says "matır", it says "matır". What do these say? They say "baba". What do these say? The same, the same thing, they speak the words. In origin they are the same.

In my time I was a witness. I am a witness to these matters. Of many things. I lived through the time of those hostile to Allah and His Messenger.

Our words that come from Arabic: to abolish them, in place of those words, they kept saying, report it: isn't there anyone who will derive new words?

Report it.

Yes. They'll invent a new Turkish. They'll remove the Arabic words.

Everyone proves himself and moves on.

So Allah makes His existence openly known to all peoples in their own languages. With the Quran He sent last, besides all people knowing Arabic in origin, by coming down in Arabic, the Quran addresses the hearts and minds of all people.

From now on, whoever knows Allah and wishes for His guidance, with Allah's light has entered the right path. And whoever wills to stay far from Allah and turns his back on Him, he too, by his own wish, by his own wish and desire, has strayed from the right path.

Know this well: Allah leads no one astray from the right path, nor to the right path does He lead anyone. Allah has sent His Holy Quran. Each person's wish and desire, his will, He wrote when He made the covenant at the address Elestü bi- Rabbiküm. He placed characters according to people's wishes and desires. People who come into the world according to those characters have wishes and desires. Allah Almighty creates means. Within those means, the person, through the deeds he does by his own wish and desire, through the means, incurs sin. There you go. Did Allah tell you to commit this evil? Did Allah take you by the hand and tell you to go this way?

Where is my will, where are the deeds I have done, where is the (?) I have received? Yes, they have misled people, they have tried to pin the blame on Allah, like the disbelievers. Allah willed it, He did so; Allah guided whom He willed to the right path; if only He had guided me too. Well, was Allah not powerful enough? The disbelievers turned their backs on Allah. Allah Almighty, who says that even if humans and jinn gathered they could not overpower Allah, in this verse of His was He powerless, unable to bring the disbelievers to the right path?

Yes. For people who think a little, for people who will use their reason: how wrongly they have interpreted the verses, how much they have distorted them, how much they serve the non-Muslim's religion, not religion, his ideology: can you understand now? Yes.

Because Allah is the Owner of power and wisdom. No power can oppose Him. Allah has created His creatures under His rule. Allah is the Owner of wisdom; He knows what He does and why. In His sight nothing remains hidden or covered that He does not know of. In His view, whatever the brightness of day is, the pitch darkness of night is the same. The open view, the lowest layer of the earth and the remotest corner of the heavens are the same to Him. Yes.
