After that, there is the hell (for the obstinate oppressor), and he will be made to drink water of pus.
Tafsir
Those who rebel against Allah, those who do not recognize their Prophets, those who do not heed the necessary warnings, those who mock the Truth in every way, after they have perished on earth, there will be torments for them in Hell in the Hereafter.
The torment of hell is not only burning or roasting in fire. Torments with various tortures are the torments of hell. For example, there is a place in hell called zemheri, which is very cold. As we know, severe heat is scorching. Very cold temperatures are also scorching. If you hold your hand to a piece of iron at minus fifty to sixty degrees, the skin of your hand will stick to the iron and get scorched. To stay in these areas half-naked in such cold temperatures is to be subjected to torture. As it says in this verse, burning in fire and making people drink water with pus is another torture and a great torment.
Pus is a foul-smelling, yellowish, transparent, transparent, slightly lisping liquid that all people abhor. This pus will be given to these persecuted people instead of water when they are thirsty.
O man! Allah cannot be disobeyed. Allah (swt) explains one by one what will happen to those who rebel against Him. He proves His existence to people with every verse. He informs people of what has happened to them. He gives news from past ages, from the unseen. Does not this news and this universe created with this knowledge inform you that Allah exists and that He is an unstoppable power? And that doesn't scare you?
What is said in the video
Surah Ibrahim, verse 16. And after that, for that stubborn tyrant there is hell, it says. That is, after his destruction in the world, tomorrow on the Day of Judgment, the earth, it says — you know, the heavens another heaven, the earth another earth — the earth too, it says, when it is brought out perfectly flat, (?) it says, (?), and when they are gathered at the Gathering, at the Supreme Court, in Allah's presence — With 67 verses we explain that the Sirat bridge does not exist. With 67 verses. Allah, so many wrongdoers, while making them cross the Sirat bridge, will have them caught on hooks, take them to the pit of hell, take them out of there, and supposedly one foot has light, the other has who knows what, while one foot (?), it takes the other along, and some will supposedly cross at speed.
As the verse says: Today We will wrong no one at all, We will give everyone in full the recompense of what he earned, it says. So as to wrong no one. When He says, We will give everyone the recompense of his own deeds in full, then: I came into Your presence through injustice. And I came to hell. I fell into hell. Or I passed over the fires there. Or I escaped the hooks. I came by force. Such superstitions they have made up.
In the verse, they put what is around hell inside hell. They make them pass through hell. And when they go in with the prophet, this time they invent a fire that does not burn. What's it called? Not a fire that isn't burning, but a fire that doesn't burn anyone, they invent. They fail there. They invent caves. That's how they get them across. I mean, superstition upon superstition. Whereas the verse is very clear. There are sixty-seven verses. Just one, I say. One verse (?) the Sirat bridge — show me. I say, take my head, and I will leave all this and go, I say.
The one who wrote a refutation against me, unaware of himself, that person, about the Sirat bridge, of Imam al-Ghazali — about the Sirat, he says, people interpreted it, he says, the Sirat. They interpreted it, he says. Here, this is a writing that the Sirat bridge exists, he says. And I say: now, did you interpret the Sirat, or did I? What does Imam al-Ghazali say? They interpreted the Sirat. What is the Sirat? It is a perfectly straight path. Does Imam al-Ghazali say Sirat bridge in his book? No. Now, are you the one interpreting the Sirat, or am I? I say. And he probably took me for some hodja trained outside.
He says a verse shows it. To that, he says, an ore, it is like a flood, he says, a flood, he says, its foam, he says, on top, he says, it throws off, the foam, and the ore, he says, stays at the bottom, he says. That's how the Sirat is too, he says. My son, what does this verse have to do with the Sirat? This verse is directly a verse that separates truth from falsehood.
The verses. Do you, I say, understand verses, I say? Do you know the meaning of the verses? You, I said, probably mistook me for some other hodja from outside. A verse with no basis, I say, you, sir, connected with that. You are exposing your own ignorance, I say. They moved on. Now many are giving talks that the Sirat bridge does not exist. They will give more. They will learn more. We are personally charged with removing falsehood from the religion. With removing falsehood from the religion. And I prove it from what they say too. Find one shortcoming of mine, and I'll pack up and go. Show me one word of mine in this Quran that contradicts another, prove it — but prove it with verses.
By Allah, I won't speak, I'll say it on oath. I'll pack up and go. So do you speak the truth completely? If I am on duty here, you cannot see my (?). My (?) — the one above, if there is someone higher than me, he sees it. Yes. That is why the verses, one after another, apart from eleven, twelve commentaries, a commentary that was opened up, not copied from one another. These are my writing. I have written three thousand nine hundred fifty-six pages. In these three thousand nine hundred fifty-six pages, in this book, something contradicting itself — then we'll pack up and go from here. I wouldn't write, I mean I wouldn't. Nor speak either.
Yes.
What are we saying? Let's read the verse once more. And after that, for that stubborn tyrant there is hell. He will be made to drink pus-filled water.
Whenever they thirst, it says, whenever they thirst, as a thirsty camel, it says, drinks water, so they will drink. Boiling water. And on top of it, it says, pus. Allah, Allah. Whenever they hunger, they will eat, it says, from the zaqqum that grows at the bottom of hell. It describes the fruit of the zaqqum tree. It is gnarled like the heads of devils, it says. As he eats it, it says, it gives him bitterness, and when he swallows it, it says, his intestines — it torments him as if to boil and pierce them, it says. In this state he is seized by great heat; so he drinks boiling water, and on top of it pus. Allah protect us. This punishment, (?), what is it? It is not a temporary punishment either; paradise and hell are eternal; upon souls there is no death, as I said a moment ago, people who put others into paradise and hell with bodies, the person who sets out to (?) the truth to me, exposes his own weakness and ignorance so much that the verses (?) (?).
You, he says, did away with the Sirat bridge, he says. These, he says, when they cross there beside the Truth, he says, when they reach paradise, he says, at the gate of paradise there is a lake, he says. In that lake, he says, one washes. When one enters paradise, they say, You have come here today spotlessly clean, he says. This is how this man understands having come spotlessly clean. Whereas where did you hide the verse, We bring you to life twice and cause you to die twice, man? Our first life is upon the body, here. Our first death is upon the body, here. Our second life is upon the body, there.
When you come into My presence with a driver, when souls are paired, and when He says to you, We silence your mouths, bind your feet, make your hands speak — when He says that, when this body testifies to the soul, when, after the testimony ends, saying, You are returned to the One who first created you, and tasting death a second time there — how did you put this man, with this body, into paradise, into hell? How did you make a lake there at the gate of paradise and have him cleaned? And how did you say this verse with this (?) in mind and in this way steer people? When He says, You have come today spotlessly clean — even in Mecca the Honoured, Allah Almighty, He says, when you come to Hajj, perform tawaf, at the Station of Abraham, and two rak'ahs of prayer having prayed, you are spotlessly clean as (?) from your mother, He says.
This cleanness of ours is not of the body; it is, in spirit, from sinners, from sins, our getting free, our attaining paradise by Allah's mercy. That is what the angels there saying You have come clean today means: saying, You have come without sin. Who are you to open up these verses and open them up to people in this way? Then you'll invent a lake at the gate of paradise, people washing there, and you'll (?). May Allah grant you sense. May Allah grant you sense. How used we have become to living intertwined with superstitions. Though those at their head need a hodja themselves, those who play the hodja are, by Allah, responsible.
Responsible. If someone teaches a person something he does not know, and as long as that person does it, and the one he taught teaches another, as long as that one does it, until it is cut off, sin goes to that person. Do you not fear Allah at all?
With superstitions, with superstitions you judge and go on. When saying Allah, one thinks: did I say it with this tongue rightly or crookedly? Yes.
Those who rebel against Allah, people who do not acknowledge their prophets, who do not heed the necessary warnings given, people who mock the truth in every way — after being destroyed on earth, there are also punishments for them in the hereafter, in hell. The punishment of hell is not only burning or being scorched in fire. Punishment with all kinds of torture — these punishments are the punishment of hell. For example, in hell there is a place called zamharir, that is, very cold. As is known, intense heat burns, and intense cold burns. At minus fifty, sixty degrees of cold, if you hold a piece of iron, the skin of your hand sticks to the iron and is seared.
Staying half-naked in such cold, in these places, is being subjected to torture. As this verse also says, burning in fire, being made to drink pus-filled water — this too is another torture and a great punishment for a person. Also being tied to (?) and entering over fires. Also, sparks flying like yellow camels, like the mouth of a cave or the mouth of a tunnel, men being put inside the fires, their skins seared, and taken out again. The skin cracking in places and fresh skin coming out beneath, the person coming to himself, and those skins shedding, and when he comes back to life, again by that angel on duty being put inside, which goes on — Allah protect us.
The meaning of the verse. What my Lord showed me, what was seen.
Some say, Hodja, you write as if you've seen it. If I didn't see, how would I write? If I didn't see, how would I tell it? What would I tell you?
Did you see all of it? No, as much as my Lord made known. As much as He showed. But you wrote all of it. My Lord's inspiration does not stop. To whomever We give inspiration, We give wisdom, He says. What is wisdom? Understanding the meanings in the verses of the Quran. Then, most people do not know inspiration, He says. Allah Almighty giving inspiration to the heart of His servant. What is inspiration? The meanings of the verses. People who cannot grasp these say, Are you a prophet? No, I don't receive revelation. What is revelation? It is the verses coming to the Prophet's heart. What do you receive? I receive inspiration.
What is this inspiration? It is the meanings of the verses. It is your Lord making them known. Revelation is one thing. Inspiration is another. So when Allah Almighty says most people do not know inspiration, they neither say these are separate, nor can they know the inspiration our Lord has given to people. Yes.
Loathed by all people, foul-smelling, yellowish, translucent, a somewhat (?) liquid. So when a person writhes from thirst, to these tormented people, instead of water this pus will be given. Now here we call out to people. We say: O people! Allah is not to be defied. Allah Almighty, one by one, what will befall those who rebel against Him is telling. With each of His verses He proves His existence to people. He makes known what befell people. (?) news (?). Do these tidings, and this universe created with this knowledge, not tell you of Allah's existence and that He is a power that cannot be withstood?
And does this not frighten you?
