Did you not realize; Allah has created the heavens and the earth with the Truth? If Allah desires, Allah can annihilate you and bring a new nation.
Tafsir
Those who disbelieve in Allah and associate partners with Allah! Have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth? This order, this firmament, the land and the planets in the firmament called stars, the Earth, the Sun, the Moon and the planets much bigger than the Earth, such as Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Mars, were they created without knowledge? Do you not see that these planets are traveling in the heavens without colliding with each other? Is it possible to deny Allah who holds all these created beings in a pillarless void, with knowledge, and makes them move around each other? Can such an Allah and an irresistible power be forgotten? Is it possible to turn one's back on Allah and indulge in the pleasures of the world with egoistic and satanic feelings? Can you go beyond what Allah says and not fear Allah? Allah (swt) reminds people that He created these created worlds to prove His existence. He reminds us that He is the Most High and the Owner of all creation, that there is no other God but Him, that He did not create all creation in a vacuum, and that one day He will call them to account.
If Allah wills, He can abolish His creation and bring a new people in its place. Just as He destroyed the people of Lot, the people of Thamud, the people of Hud and many other tribes and replaced them with others. Allah is the Creator. There is no difficulty for Him.
What is said in the video
That Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth — have you not seen it? Surah Ibrahim, verse 19.
Allah — have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? it says. Turn your eyes, He says, to the heavens. Will you be able to see a notch or a deficiency there, He says. Let your eyes drop abjectly before you, He says.
Think about this world we live on. A huge piece of land spinning in space, together with its seas. Right? This huge mass, this world, this world 40 thousand kilometres in diameter, turning it in space around its own axis, the sun and moon system as satellites, programmed with one another, the lunar system in the sky (?) placing — Allah. The other galaxies and planets, the stars, placing them all in the sky and making them travel around their own axes without colliding — Allah. What does it say? Have you not seen that He created the heavens and the earth in truth? So what does creating in truth mean here?
It is creating with knowledge. With knowledge. It is creating by the power of knowledge. If there were no power of knowledge, would these have been created in truth? No. What would they be? Deficient; they would collide, scatter, the Last Day would break out, I mean. It would be a kind of symbol of the Last Day. Now would that be created in truth? So here, creating in truth proves that He created with knowledge. If He wills, He removes you and brings a brand-new creation, it says. A brand-new creation.
Didn't He do it? He destroyed the old peoples and brought a new people after them. Sir, if He wills, if He wills, He destroys us too, and a brand-new people, what He calls a creation — beings other than man that He holds as addressees of His essence, He can create. He can also destroy man. But Allah Almighty did not create again as one destroying man. That is, so as to create any further (?) on top of man, He did not create man. Why? Look what it says: He removes you and brings a brand-new creation, it says. That is, if He wills, He removes you and brings a brand-new creation. A brand-new creation means, that is, He brings a creation other than mankind.
He does, just as He brought the jinn, and then just as He brought us. But since Allah Almighty's purpose in creating man is to give a part of His essence and hold man as the addressee of His essence, since Allah does not change His decisions like people, and, subjecting man to reflection within his own mind: O man, just as I created you, just as I gave you a part of Me, if I will, I create a brand-new creation over you too. He creates. Since He gave of His essence and created so many people, since He holds them as addressees of His essence, He creates what He wills. For Allah, who created the heavens and the earth, creating anew again is not hard.
Allah, the Possessor of knowledge, who has the power to create, has revealed this secret of creation to no created being. The power is with Him. The power is Allah. Yes. In another sense, in our place He even removes these peoples and, again from the human race, brings another people. That is one meaning. Those who deny Allah and associate partners with Allah — have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? This order, these heavens, the pieces of land in the heavens called stars, and the planets, the earth, the sun and moon, Uranus, which is much bigger than the earth, planets like Neptune, Pluto, Mars — were these created without knowledge?
Yes.
Don't you see these planets travel in the heavens without colliding with one another? All these created beings, holding them with knowledge in pillarless space, making them travel around one another — can Allah be denied? I mean, in the face of so much reality, even if you don't see with your eyes, the one who made this glass, can I deny him? The one who made this glass — it has a craftsman, it was made in a factory or by a hand. If you deny this — if I say it has no craftsman, it came about by itself, I expose my ignorance. If, out of the hatred of my nafs, I take Satan as my guide and go down the road of denying Allah, abjectly, my ignorant state is what I prove.
Then there is an Allah, and this Allah is the Creator. In this case no one can deny Allah's existence. Even those who deny know that Allah exists; out of the feelings of their nafs, their hatreds, they set out to deny Allah. Yes, people like Darwin, abjectly, abjectly, ignorantly, with his talk that makes even Satan laugh at him, he disgraces himself before this whole world. Although man was created honoured above the worlds, this wretched man has gone and taken the animals as his ancestor and claims he came from the ape.
And how well Allah Almighty puts it: they are like the four-legged animals that roam the earth, (?) they are astray.
One truly laughs. Our Lord, according to what He says in the Quran, in which is everything wet and dry, the people of the Sabbath, because they defied Allah's command, because of the Saturday ban on fishing, Allah Almighty turned them into apes. And when man found this miracle of Allah, when it was the same as the human skeleton, that our Lord turned the form of those people of the Sabbath into apes — although it has become the proof of His verse — this person still stubbornly says, my ancestor, sir, is the ape, he says. He tries to prove he came from the ape.
Look at his hatred toward Allah Almighty and his enmity toward Him: although there is a verse, although it was written 1400-odd years ago, still out of that hatred, every kind of disgrace and ignorance on earth he accepts, becoming the clown of people of sound mind, sir, still with the stubbornness of his nafs he continues his denial. Yes.
We call them despised apes, Hodja. We said to them, Be despised apes, He says. Yes. We said, Be despised apes, He says. Right. He too took despised apes as ancestors, and how fitting, those who follow them are in the same state too. Allah shows us everything so clearly with His beautiful verses, so clearly.
With such an Allah, is a power that cannot be withstood forgotten, we say. Yes.
What did we say? Don't you see these planets travel in the heavens without colliding with one another? All these created beings, holding them with knowledge in pillarless space, making them travel around one another — can Allah be denied? Can such an Allah, and a power that cannot be withstood, be forgotten? Turning one's back on Allah, with the feelings of the nafs and of Satan, toward the pleasures of the world can one lean? Can one step outside what Allah says? In this case, do you not fear Allah? Allah Almighty, as proof of His own existence, that He created these created realms makes known, reminding people.
That His essence is most exalted and the owner of all created, the owner of all His creations, that besides Him there is no other god, that He did not create anything created aimlessly, that one day He will call them to account — of this He reminds. O people! Surely one day the order of this world will be broken, the Last Hour will come, and at a time when the earth is another earth, the heaven too another place, when the earth too, perfectly flat, is brought forth, when we are gathered there, when we follow behind Israfil, in a state where no one can dodge, when we are gathered at the Gathering, at the Supreme Court, before Eleysallahu bi ahkemi'l-hakimin, the Judge of judges, according to His verse, On that day judgement belongs to Allah alone — when we come before Him, what answer will you give?
What will you do?
Who says, Hodja, there is such an event? It is written, but it's tales of the ancients. If you say, I don't believe in the Quran either, I'll give you a single answer. By believing in these verses, by carrying out my duty, what do I lose? What do I lose? Nothing. What do you lose in the world by not doing it? You too, nothing, (?). But tomorrow in the hereafter, if this exists, I have won. What will you do? If there is such a thing in the hereafter, by fulfilling these verses and fulfilling Allah's command, I have won. Won what? I have won paradise. I have won my Lord's mercy. What will you win?
What will you do then? Will your regret benefit you? Not this world's fill, He says. If there were another world's fill, you would want to give it as ransom and be saved, He says. Ransom. Yes.
In every person there is a mind. And with his mind he knows that there is a Lord who created him. No person can escape this. Because Allah has given that person a mind that knows His essence. At the address Elestü bi Rabbiküm, they said yes. Yes. Yes. We were created. But they denied Allah. They waited for the Lord of their imaginations. Because He created us close to His essence, their Lord who stands before those deniers, as Creator they did not recognise. They waited for the Lord of their imaginations. That is it, with the verse: They will not see their Lord. There is no god other than Allah for them to see their Lord.
Yes.
In this case, do you not fear Allah? Allah Almighty, as proof of His own existence, that He created these created realms makes known, reminding people. That His essence is most exalted and the owner of everything created, that besides Him there is no other god, that He did not create anything created aimlessly, that one day He will call them to account — of this He reminds.
If Allah wills, He removes what He created. In its place He brings a brand-new creation. Just as He removed the people of Lot, the people of Thamud, the people of Hud and many peoples and brought others in their place. Allah is the Creator. For Him there is no difficulty. Yes.
