Ibrahim 22: (When they are judged) and the matter is finished, devil (shaytan) will say; “Verily, Allah has given you the truthful promise and I gave you a promise, but I was lying in my promise. And I did not have any power over you. I only called you (to denial) and you immediately followed my call. Thus, don’t blame me, blame yourselves. I cannot save you and you cannot save me. Verily, before, I denied that you associate me as a partner (to Allah).” Verily, there is a severe punishment for the oppressors.

Translation

(When they are judged) and the matter is finished, devil (shaytan) will say; “Verily, Allah has given you the truthful promise and I gave you a promise, but I was lying in my promise.

Tafsir

When people are reckoned before Allah (swt) in the Court-i Kübra and their deeds are finished, i.e. when their place is determined to be hell, Satan will say to them: "Surely Allah has promised you what is true. That is, He created for you Paradise, the abode of eternal bliss. But you did not heed this call of Allah. You immediately responded to my calling you to disbelief. You ran to my call, not to Allah's call to you. So today I have been a liar to you. I have no power against you anyway.

Allah has created man strong in will, and no other being has any influence over him except Allah. If Satan had influence over man. Allah would have been attributed. Because He created the devil (minnaricin minennar) out of pure fire, that is, in frequencies. Since the invisible is victorious over the visible, man would have been created in helplessness against the devil. But man, by his very nature, is open to all kinds of magnetic receptors. By means of these receptors, he has the power to distinguish between good and evil through the filter of the light of faith, and to make his own decision with his will without any influence.

So man, with the covenant he made with Allah (kalu bela), chooses the side that suits his ideas and character and follows it. Satan reminds people of this point. When you made a covenant with Allah, you already rebelled against Allah, you did not recognize Allah there. So don't blame me today. If there is anyone to blame, it is yourself. Today I cannot save you and you cannot save me. These people will be humiliated there, in Hell, as the amusement and masquerade of even Satan, who was created lower than human beings and cursed.

(Satan rebels against Allah to a certain extent out of hatred and arrogance. After a certain point, in order to avoid further torment, the devil took refuge with Allah and refused to be worshipped by people, even from worshipping the devil. But today we see even those who worship the devil.

(Whoever disbelieves in Allah and His Prophets and does not believe in the Hereafter, whoever eats the blessings of Allah and does not give thanks to Allah, whoever turns away from Allah and associates partners with Allah even though Allah has revealed His Essence, whoever turns people away from the path of Allah and leads them astray, these are the unjust people who have wronged their souls. Hell and a painful torment are for them. These are the people who exchange the little pleasure of this world for the Hereafter. Those who are unjust to their own souls and have bought the abode of eternal Hell.

What is said in the video

Surah Ibrahim, verse 22: When their accounts have been settled and the matter is concluded, Satan will say: Surely Allah promised you what is true. I too made you promises, but I turned out to be a liar to you. In any case, I have no power over you, it says. How well he says it. Because Allah Almighty says: to My servant who knows Me, Satan's (?) — what is it? He says. This is only — I only called you to disbelief. And you ran to my call at once. So do not blame me. Blame yourselves. I cannot save you, nor can you save me. Indeed, I rejected before your associating me with Allah. Surely for the wrongdoers there is a painful punishment, it says.

Even Satan says this. What does he say? Indeed, I rejected before your associating me with Allah, he says. So, where does he say it? Give me, he says, a life until the Day of Judgment — I have given it, He says. And I, he says, will sit in front of Your servants. Your servants who come to You, he says, I will turn away from You. And He says: If you do this, I have given them to you, He says. There he does not say: I will make them worship me. Pay attention. I will turn them away from You, he says. I will turn them from Your path, he says.

So: indeed, he says. What does he say? I rejected before your associating me with Allah. Yes. When people's accounts have been settled before Allah Almighty at the Supreme Court and their matter is concluded, that is, when it is determined that their place is Hell, Satan will say to them: Surely Allah promised you what is true. But this happens in Hell. After entering Hell they talk with one another.

That is, He created Paradise, the abode of eternal bliss, for you. But you did not heed this call of Allah. You answered at once my calling you to disbelief. You ran not to Allah calling you, but to my calling. And today I turned out to be a liar to you, he will say. In any case, I have no power over you.

Allah created man strong in terms of will. Allah — apart from Allah, no being has any influence over man. If Satan had influence over man, Allah would be (?). Because He created Satan (?), from a plain fire, that is, within frequencies. Since the unseen has the upper hand over the seen, man would have been created in torment against Satan. But man, by his makeup, is open to all kinds of magnetic receivers. Through these receivers, with the filter of the light of faith in him, he distinguishes good and evil and, without being under any influence, by his will he has the power to make his own decision himself.

Yes.

With the covenant he made with Allah at Kalubela, man chooses the side that suits his own thinking and character, and goes after it. And Satan reminds people of this point. When you made the covenant with Allah, you already rebelled against Allah. You did not recognize Allah there. Yes.

So do not blame me today. If there is anyone to blame, it is yourself. Today I cannot save you, nor can you save me, he will say. As the amusement and laughing-stock even of Satan, who was created lower than humans and cursed, these people will there, that is in Hell, fall into a despicable state. Indeed, I rejected your associating me with Allah. Yes, me, he says. I rejected your associating me with Allah. Up to a point, Satan rebels against Allah out of grudge and arrogance. After a point, so as not to incur a greater punishment, even regarding people's worship of Satan, Satan has (?) to Allah, and people's worship of them he has rejected.

For example, at the Battle of Badr, according to what they say in the narrations, in every house, it says, in Mecca there were celebrations, celebrations, cries of victory. And Satan, in the guise of a frail old elder, urges them to war. In this way Satan, as a frail old man, in front of the Meccan polytheists comes toward Badr. When he approached Badr: Today, he says, my eye is much sharper than yours. I see what you do not see. Well, farewell to you, he says, and runs back. Because he sees Allah Almighty's five thousand angels, ready (?). Yes. Since Allah will keep the religion of Islam in force until the Day of Judgment, and the religion of Islam He will also root by cutting off the polytheists of Badr — Islam — Allah Almighty, for the Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, our master Muhammad (peace be upon him), for his handful of an army, with three thousand noble angels (?), helped them there.

My Beloved, He says there, when you threw, you did not throw, He says. I threw them, He says. Yes.

But today, in our day, we even see those who worship Satan, I say. Surely for the wrongdoers there is a painful punishment. Whoever denies Allah and His prophets and does not believe in the hereafter, eats and drinks the many blessings Allah Almighty created and does not thank Allah; although Allah Almighty makes known His essence, His essence, they turn their faces from Allah and ascribe partners to Allah, if, turning people from Allah's path, into crooked ways they lead them astray, these are wrongdoing people who have wronged their own selves. Hell and a painful punishment are theirs. These are people who exchange the hereafter for a little pleasure of the nafs and enjoyment of the worldly realm.

They are those who are oppressive to their own selves and buy the eternal abode of Hell. As Yunus Emre said, those who are oppressive to their own selves.
