Translation

It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, Who has sent down water from the sky and Who has brought forth with it different fruits, for you as a provision. And Allah has given ships to your order so that, with Allah’s permission, they can sail on the sea. And Allah has made the rivers flow for you (so that you would benefit).

Tafsir

Allah (swt) says that He is very gracious to mankind, that He has placed the heavens and the earth at the disposal of mankind, that He has made everything available for mankind, that He has created the seas for the benefit of mankind, and that He has created the seas for the benefit of mankind.

Allah, who has put the products of the seas at the service of human beings, has also created all these creatures with a knowledge. We know that the buoyancy of water is equal to the volume of an object that sinks into the water, so people build large ships and use them for their own services with the buoyancy of water equal to the volume of water carried by the sinking of wooden boats whose specific gravity is lighter than water or pieces of iron whose specific gravity is heavier than water. Allah (swt) created the universe with knowledge. This is how Allah (swt) reveals His Verses to people, so that they may find some of the knowledge He has revealed and fulfill their needs, and at the same time realize the greatness of Allah (swt).

It informs us about the flow of rivers on the earth and how water gives life to the places it passes through, as well as how they obtain energy sources from water. Allah (swt) has put His creation at the service of human beings with sciences that people will find in the future. He informs us how gracious He is to human beings, and that before they were even born, their needs were created in the world and they were invited to these banquets, and that He placed them at their disposal and service.

That is how Allah is. He takes care of His creatures. He fulfills their every need. He shows them ways of salvation in a realm of the unseen. Because He values people so much, He has left them free in their will. He did not influence them in the realm of property or in the covenant. He leaves them free in their own will. Such a God cannot be left. He will not be ungrateful. Nor will faces be turned away from Allah.

What is said in the video

Allah is so gracious that the heavens and the earth He created. Now, Allah, who is gracious, created the heavens and the earth. Where is the graciousness in this? What we call gracious — however much you create for the heavens and the earth, you create. Is there any grace in that? Is there grace toward a lifeless being? But the meaning here is very different.

He brought man and placed him on earth and made him the vicegerent of the earth.

He created the heavens and (?). It is Allah, it goes on. He created the heavens and the earth. On earth, for people, all sorts of plants, all sorts of minerals of every kind, precious stones He brought to the earth and placed there. For whom? For man. That gracious Allah, who with water vapor sends rain from the sky and brings dry soil to life. This too He grants for people. Yes, indeed, look what it says right after. Sending down water from the sky, with it He brought forth various fruits as provision for you, it says. That gracious Allah. To man so much. Because He values him, because He loves man very much, so that on earth man could prove to himself what kind of person he is — for that purpose,

from the lands, from the earth and the heavens, Allah Almighty grants man all sorts of provision — despite this, Allah Almighty, encompassing people in every respect, and not only people, Allah, who encompasses the universe in every respect and gives life to what He created, that of nothing He created, even an atom, is He unaware; that without His permission nothing moves; in this situation, Allah, the absolute owner and power of the universe, is this close to man too, and although He spreads all His blessings before man, if man does not see these blessings given, then they are the ungrateful ones, the ungrateful ones.

In this situation, if man works his mind a little — that so many blessings cannot come into being by themselves, and that these blessings cannot come into being by themselves in a way that gives life to these people and nourishes them — if man thinks even a little that these worlds have an absolute owner and that this owner did not bring us to this world in vain, he will at least give thanks to Him. He gives thanks for the blessings He gave. Yes. If man cannot do this — use his mind — and in the face of the blessings Allah has given such people, he eats and drinks and turns his back, then Allah Almighty says: they are like four-legged animals roaming the earth, (?) astray.

We read the verse again: He is such a gracious Allah that He created the heavens and the earth, sent down water from the sky, and with it provision and as provision brought forth various fruits for you; so that by His permission they may sail on the sea, He placed the ships at your service, it says. Allah Almighty created everything with knowledge. All created things have a specific gravity. Specific gravity.

Those whose specific gravity is heavier than water sink. If the specific gravity is lighter than water, it floats. It floats. Wood floats on water. Because its specific gravity is lighter than water. As for iron, since its specific gravity is heavy — stone, iron, minerals like these — since the specific gravity of these minerals is heavier than water, they sink. They sink, but ships weighing tons float.

In this situation one must remember Archimedes. One day, while Archimedes was washing in the bathhouse, he sees that the bath bowl does not sink in the basin. He immediately shouts. He shouts "Eureka, Eureka". I found it, I found it, he says. I found it. What did he find? As the width of that iron, its volume, its angle widens, as much as it sinks into the water, that much buoyant force of water it gets. So these materials weighing tons, with the lifting power of the water — as much water as they displace, with its lifting power — ships on the seas float. Now, if He had created the weight of this water of the materials He created heavier than all of them, none of them on the water would float.

None of them would float on the water. Because it would sink whatever came.

Yes. So in this situation Allah Almighty creates the universe with knowledge, and the volumes of these ships — if you pay attention, they come at an angle like this. And it goes down at an angle like this. Since it has the buoyant force of as much water as it displaces in the sea, the ship floats on top of the water. Thus Allah Almighty proves that He created this universe with knowledge. So He placed the ships at your service so that they may sail. He makes the rivers flow for your benefit too. Rivers.

So that we may sow and reap, so that He may grant water to those doing (?) in the fields — for that. In this situation, moreover, Allah Almighty, between the mountains, roads so that people can go from one place to another, He has created. Between the mountains. Yes.

Allah Almighty, announcing that He is very gracious toward people, that He has placed the heavens and the earth at people's command, that water falls from the skies as rain, and that the people's needed plants, vegetables and fruits come into being, that He prepared every- thing for people, that He created the seas for people to benefit from — this He announces. Today, the seas — if we pay attention to the seas, there are, more scenic than the land, underground, that is, undersea landscapes. Truly worth seeing; in such a colorful and very beautiful life He has arranged those places too, (?) Allah.

Yes.

Allah, who offers the products of the seas to the service of people, moreover created all these beings with knowledge.

That bodies sinking into water get a buoyant force equal to their volume; in this respect, wooden boats whose specific gravity is lighter than water, or pieces of iron whose specific gravity is heavier than water — by their sinking, as much water as they displace, with that lifting power of water, people build great ships and in their own service use them.

What things! Our religion is not a religion of superstition.

Nor is our religion a religion of exploiting people's conscience. Our religion, that is, Allah's command: in a way that gives life to every person, He has created every person free and as vicegerent of the earth. In this situation, because He loves man very much, Allah Almighty, with the verse "Do you never use your reason?", addresses us. So, people exploiting conscience or showing the religion of Islam as a (?) through superstitions shows that we have not known our religion well — that is what it shows.

Here, Allah, who offers so many blessings and created these worlds with knowledge, gives life to man with each of His verses. In this situation, if man uses his reason, on his own two feet, without needing anyone, by means of the (?), he stands up. Now let's put a full stop here. To you — the exploiters of the religion of Islam, how they deceive people, and while people answer them, they too, in a certain design, talk among themselves in a way that one cannot answer them. Like what?

On Ağkanal last night, they say that Fethullah Hodja is Jesus. Fethullah Hodja is supposedly Jesus.

They ask each other: what is Jesus? That is, some say he will not come,

some tell you — each explains as he likes.

Those speaking: one is the theology faculty's Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Bey. One is an Assoc. Prof. Dr. from the (?) Faculty — a person. They talk together. Believe me, about Jesus they have no knowledge. And at root they could not even describe Jesus.

Jesus, according to the obligations of our religion, in the light of the verses, is alive to this moment, to this moment he is alive. How do you know, Hodja? I'll explain, I'll explain how I know too. When they shut Jesus in the synagogue, the commander who went inside — Allah Almighty showed that commander in the form of Jesus and raised Jesus to the first heaven. I'm not the one saying it. Allah Almighty is saying it. These are verses.

I'm telling you verses. In this situation they threw their own commander in place of Jesus. Jesus is alive. That's one.

A person who says "I am Jesus" — his mother and father he will not be able to prove. That is, he will be fatherless, and his mother will also not have given birth to him in this world — that person. That person will have been born of Mary. If I get up and say I'm Jesus, my mother is known, my father is known. Even if my father weren't known, my mother is known. But Jesus' mother is Mary. When Abel and Cain, in the time of Adam, by the command of Allah Almighty placed sheep on the mountain, Abel's sheep is taken; until Abraham was to sacrifice Ishmael, that is, until that event, the sheep remains in the heavens.

From our forefather Adam until Abraham, until Abraham came to the point of sacrificing Ishmael, who knows how many thousands of years passed. In this situation, if a thousand years here are like one day of the hereafter, a few days passed. Within a few days the sheep came to Ishmael as a ransom for his life.

Since Jesus' ascension to the first heaven, by the Hijri calendar, 1435 years have passed.

1435 years. By the Gregorian calendar, 2014 years have passed. If a thousand years here are like one day of the hereafter, it has been two days since Jesus was raised to the sky.

Two days. In this situation, Jesus will come in the time of the Mahdi.

In the time of the Mahdi. Who is the Mahdi? With (?) in minds, some still say "I am the Mahdi". Some people — let me describe the Mahdi to you as well, so you understand it well. How is the Mahdi living right now — I mean in terms of the corpse, but in terms of the body, he exists, alive. The Mahdi is alive, spiritually alive, but as a corpse, right now the Mahdi does not exist. When will the Mahdi come? He will come in the time when weapons do not fire. That is why in the Holy Quran it says: keep horses. Hodja, what does "weapons do not fire" mean? The hole in the ozone layer, the sun's ultraviolet rays erasing the magnetism at the North Pole, with the erasure of that magnetism, the earth turning around its own axis incompletely — is that so? Does it turn?

Yes. In this situation, such a time will come that the earth, around its own axis, reaches the zero point, and the sun will (?) from the west and rise from the west. That is, the earth will turn the other way round. Now, there is still time until the earth turns the other way. When this magnetism is erased, your America, your technology, from your satellite, Ahmet, Mehmet, will not be able to hit the target it wants. What happened? Weapons won't fire, (?). That is when the Mahdi will appear. Gentlemen. Jesus will also come then. Jesus will also come then. O my sleeping Muslim brother. O you scoundrels who exploit the consciences of these Muslims.

You hypocrites who say "I am the Mahdi, I am Jesus": if you had any knowledge of Islam, if you had any knowledge of the verses, some of you would not come out before people and hold talks with short skirts, and some of you would not commit treason against the homeland and take the path of Christianizing people.

Yes. Let my Muslim brother wake up. Let my brother in Islam wake up. One of them came out, a gravedigger. "I am Jesus," he said, and in the end ended up in the madhouse. This one too said "I am Jesus", this hypocrite. That hypocrite in Pennsylvania. "I am Jesus," he said. And Allah brought down on his head the trap he had (?). Yes. Since you're Jesus — you scoundrel, I'll say. Why do I say this so strongly? I say it because he has stained my religion, my culture. A person lives for his honor, for his religion, for his homeland. He lives for his decency. If you get up and say "I am Jesus" — the One who never turned down a prophet's word is Allah. The destruction by the curse of Noah, of Lot; His giving Noah the flood and destroying that place.

You too are cursing, cursing. If you are a prophet, would Allah turn back that prophet's curse? Mehmet! What kind of prophet are you? Not only is your prayer not enough, you also make poor people curse. With their "big sisters" and "big brothers". Shame on those "big sisters", shame on those "big brothers". On people who sell their homeland, sell their religion for (?). Shame on them. Yes.

A prophet, supposedly; Jesus, supposedly. Just look at you.

That Allah should value man this much, put this much grace before him, grant him in the hereafter Paradise, gardens with rivers flowing beneath, gardens with rivers flowing from their ground, grant him mansions — give this to him. And just for this world's rosy appearance, by this swamp deceived, turning their back on Allah, betraying Allah, their homeland and plunging a dagger into the bosom of their nation — such people. These are people even more astray than the four-legged animals roaming the earth.

Allah, who offers the products of the seas to the service of people, moreover created all these beings with knowledge. That a body sinking into water gets a buoyant force equal to its volume; in this respect, wooden boats whose specific gravity is lighter than water, or pieces of iron whose specific gravity is heavier than water — by their sinking, as much water as they displace, with that lifting power of water, people build great ships and in their own service use them.

Allah Almighty created the universe with knowledge. Some knowledge He willed, so that people may find it and meet their own needs, and at the same time grasp Allah's greatness — Allah Almighty explains His verses to people in this way.

It tells of the flow of the rivers on earth, the life water gives to where it passes, and also that from waters they obtain energy sources, it states. With the knowledge people will discover in the future, Allah Almighty has offered His creations to the service of people. How gracious He has been to people, and that even before people came into the world, their needs were created in the world and people were invited to these feasts, and that He placed these at people's command and service — He clearly states to us. Before man even came into the world, all of man's needs were placed in the world by Allah Almighty.

That's what I meant: this is how Allah is. This is how the Creator is. This gracious.

Now, I'm addressing the scholars. Leave the common people. Maybe they won't understand. O person who says "I am a scholar"!

In the face of our Lord's so great graciousness, how can you say that He created many of the people and jinn for Hell? How can you say that Allah will put whom He wills into Paradise and whom He wills into Hell?

About Allah, a little, (?) — let him not say it like this. If you feared Allah a little, let him not slander Him like this.

Look, even before people came into the world, every need of theirs He placed on the earth; His mercy, which He said is for everyone in the universe — without discriminating among people, among the people He created, among the people He sent to the earth, without discriminating, the needs of all people He places on the earth. He sends them scholars, prophets, books to light their way. About these people who turn their backs on these books, scholars and prophets, how do you say that Allah stopped their ears, sealed their hearts? How do you say that? That they will never come to Islam? How do you say that?

How do you make Him discriminate among His servants? Today, aren't there those among the unbelievers who become Muslim? And aren't there unbelievers within Islam too? (?) in Allah's realm, Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172 — if I cover up that verse and you have no knowledge of it either, and if you brand a person a fatalist over that verse, (?) that person (?) destiny, if you call this Mu'tazila — well then, from slandering Allah like this let him not hold back.

People who have no knowledge of the verses.

Here, in the face of so much grace of Allah Almighty, of the blessings He has given to so many people, although man turns his back on Allah and does not know Allah, they pin this on Allah. "Allah cut off his provision, did not give." "Allah cursed them because he is an unbeliever." Words like these come out of the mouths of those people who say they are scholars. Give me the Holy Quran — there should be a Holy Quran over there. Bring it to me from there. In this situation, people, yes, 504

of them, 504 like this, there are even more, 504 that are wrong. Every page you open, like this, red, green you see here. Every page you open. Well, explaining the verses all wrong. Yes.

Now,

the person who takes from people's hands their will and attaches everything to Allah attaches it to Allah; we people, because we were created honorable — and I'm not saying it, Allah says it. What does He say? We created you honorable above the worlds, He says. Above the worlds. The most honorable of His creatures. Why, Hodja, did He create us the most honorable above the worlds? Because Allah Almighty gave us a power from His spirit. It exists in no creature other than man. If you put the spirit into cats and dogs and also pass yourself off as a scholar, then (?) you make mistakes. Yes.

What does it say? Look here now. I'll read the end of it. "And Allah speaks the truth, and He guides to the right path," it says. Yes. Allah speaks the truth, but He does not guide to the right path. Allah does not guide to the right path. Allah gave you the will, the partial will. Through the acts and deeds you perform, you will go to your own right path. Or else you will go to your crooked path. You cannot ascribe this attribute to Allah here. At the Great Court Allah Almighty says: what you earned, of your own (?) — is its recompense, He says. Today, without any injustice to anyone, what each has earned, as recompense for his own (?), will be given to him in full, He says.

It's not me saying it, Allah Almighty is saying it. So then, (?) "did Allah lead me to the right path". Ah, what did Allah Almighty do? When we came to the world — "had We wished," He says, "We would not have sent you scholars and books. But Our mercy reached you. We sent you prophets and books," He says. In this situation, if we use our reason and hold fast to the prophets and the books, we find the truth. We go to the right path. If Allah Almighty is the one who will bring us to the right path, then always the same mistakes. Aren't the others Allah's servants? Didn't Allah create them? Is there a second god, so that they should take refuge in that god?

Wasn't it only the unbelievers who lose hope in Allah? So, since He says "do not lose hope", if you discriminate among them, do these verses agree with each other? Do these verses agree with each other? Wasn't Allah supposed to be free from deficient attributes? Weren't the verses supposed not to contradict one another? What kind of scholar are you, that you write these things like this?

Yes.

So, even before man came to the world, Allah Almighty has all the food of all people and of the creatures He created placed in the world. That's what I say: this is how Allah is. He takes care of what He created. He meets all their needs. He shows them the ways of salvation in a lost world. Since He values people very highly, He has left people free in their will. In the material world, or while making the covenant, He did not influence people at all. He left them free in their own will. Such an Allah is not to be abandoned. Nor is ingratitude shown to Him. Nor are faces turned away from Allah.
