Make them fear for a day in which punishment will come to them. Thus, when the oppressors will say; “Oh our Lord! Give us time until soon so that we can follow your call and obey your Prophets”, (it will be said to them); “Did you not take an oath before that there will be no decline for you?”
Tafsir
When Allah (swt) tells people through His Prophets and His Books that if they deny Allah and the Hereafter, foretell them of a day when they will be tormented and scare them from the torment of Hell, those who do not heed the warnings of the Prophets and mock them, when they see that they are approaching torment in the Hereafter, they say to Allah (swt), O our Lord, give us a period of time again, send us back to the world. See how we will worship you and follow your Prophets. They will be told, "Did you not swear before that there is no end for you?
Did you not mock the Prophets while you were in this world, saying that there is no resurrection and that they will not be held to account in the Hereafter, and that even if there is an account, we are big people, we are rulers, we are managers, we are employers, we are people in positions of authority, what kind of punishment can there be for us there? Did you not disobey Allah and deny Allah and the Last Day with your pride and arrogance? Allah (swt) will say to them: "With this desire and will, with these characters and emotions, if I send you back to this world not once but several times, you will still commit the same deed. Because Allah has left man free in his will. With this will and desire, man will never give up his denial.
What is said in the video
On to the 44th verse, the 44th verse of Surah Ibrahim. Warn them of a day when the punishment will come to them. Who? The prophets. Warn them of a day when the punishment will come to them. That is, according to that verse which says on that day judgement is Allah's alone, that people will be resurrected after death, that these worlds were not created in vain — every person, when he turns not to his surroundings but to himself, is equipped with a knowledge and surely realizes that he has been created by a being. So, that person, it says — warn them about a day when punishment will come to them.
To the prophets, and after the prophets to the heirs of the prophets. Allah Almighty says it. Therefore, on the day the wrongdoers say: Our Lord, for a short while give us time, so that we may answer Your call and follow Your prophets — it will be said to them: earlier, did you not swear that there would be no decline for you? In the hereafter, when these non-Muslims see the punishment, what do they say? Our Lord, give us time for a short while, so that we may answer Your call and follow Your prophets — on the day they say this, it will be said to them: earlier, did you not swear that there would be no decline for you?
Who has come back after dying? Who has been resurrected? Has anyone come from there? Is there any news? They say. Don't they? They do. Is there even an Allah? That's how they talk. They say this. They say it. Well. But there, on seeing the truth: did We not send you prophets on earth? Did We not send you books? Did We not send you scholars, He will say. Look, here there is another beautiful verse too. God willing, I'll find that one here too. Well, (?) Surah, verse 12. When those sinners bow their heads before their Lord: Our Lord, we have seen, we have heard. They see. So Allah is not invisible.
They say Allah is invisible. You can't see Allah in this world. You can't see Him and comprehend. But did you make a covenant with an invisible Allah? So people have done away with Allah's (?) too. They have done away with the Prophet's (?) too. They brought it all and (?) Gabriel. They also called the Spirit Gabriel. They (?) everything onto Gabriel. They turned the verses of the Quran toward (?) of the Christian religion. What does it tell us? When those sinners bow their heads before their Lord: Our Lord, we have seen, we have heard. Now send us back to the world so we may do good deeds. Now we firmly believe — if only you could see them when they say this, it says.
Even if We sent you not once, it says, but several more times, you would do the same thing again. Come on, could that be? Could it? Why would I do the same thing? Well, I've seen it, I know now.
We made a covenant with Allah Almighty.
Our covenant, our wish, was written for us as destiny. It was inscribed as characters. He raised us to the barzakh. The barzakh. From the world of barzakh, Allah Almighty takes the soul whose turn has come. Female or male? Allah knows this. You know how people said Allah knows what is in the wombs — whereas now people too know what is in the wombs. Girl or boy? Yes. We corrected this, shouting it out. That soul to be taken from the barzakh — girl or boy? Allah knows that. That (?) to be given to the wombs. Girl or boy? Allah knows this. From there, the world of jabarut — He takes it in the world of nearness and closes it with a (?).
Those worlds are closed. Like setting a password on a computer program so no one can open it. From there He sends it to the world of malakut; it takes on the guise of a spiritual soul. There too it gets a (?), one more password. From there to the material world: the spiritual soul, that is, the bodily soul, puts on a body; those places have been closed. It was forgotten. Actually it is in the memory. It is in the memory. But we can't know it. How do you know it's in the memory? What? In Surah Al-Waqi'ah: when the soul reaches the throat, come on, turn it back then, turn it back, I say.
The relatives gather above his head and wait for his soul to leave, it says. Are you nearer to him with your power? Or are We nearer to him with Our power, it says. So when the soul reaches the throat, the door of repentance closes. Those worlds are sent to him, shown to him. That is when: send me back once more. Look how I will obey You — when he says this: even if We sent you back not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again. Why? Because my talk is being recorded right now. It's being recorded. Wherever in the world you take this recording, it will be the same. So since I cannot go beyond whatever my character is, whatever my destiny is, even if I came to the world not once but a thousand more times, I would do the same thing again.
Yes. It's that simple. I am such a person that I will prove myself like this. Yes. What are we saying? Warn them of a day when the punishment will come to them. Because it's a world of record, after all — so that one won't say: You gave good tidings of Your mercy but did not warn of Your punishment — so that one won't say that, it says. Won't say it. Therefore, on the day the wrongdoers say: Our Lord, for a short while give us time, so that we may answer Your call and follow Your prophets — it will be said to them: earlier, did you not swear that there would be no decline for you? For example, the Jews say to us: in hell punishment won't touch us more than 2-3 days, they say.
More than 2-3 days. We, they say, are Allah's children, His close ones, they say. How does Allah Almighty answer them? Do they have any proof in their hands, it says. Then let them wish for death, it says. Let them wish for death — since they are His close ones, let them live in Paradise (?). But even if they had, it says, a thousand years of life, another thousand years, they would want to live, it says. Yes. What a fine answer our Lord gives them.
We'll explain. Let's recall the verse. Warn them of a day when punishment, when punishment will come to them. Therefore, on the day the wrongdoers say: Our Lord, for a short while, us, so we may answer Your call and follow Your prophets — it will be said to them: earlier, did you not swear that there would be no decline for you? Now here it says: for a short while more. When we come to the world, we'll live another lifetime again. Is that a short time, then? This world will live as a world again, I mean. They will come, because they will come era after era. They'll live one more world. It said a short time here.
Allah Almighty's word on this, outwardly (?). But millions of years pass here. If a thousand years here is like one day of the hereafter, of course it will be a short time. Like a few days, like a few months, or it will pass by. Yes. When Allah Almighty, through prophets and books, told people: if they deny Allah and the hereafter, inform them of a day when the punishment will come to them and warn them of this punishment of hell — then those who did not heed the prophets' warnings, who mocked them, when in the hereafter they see they have come near the punishment, say to Allah Almighty: Our Lord, give us some time again, send us back to the world again, look how we will worship You, Your prophets we will follow, they say; it will be said to them: earlier, that there would be no decline for you, did you not swear? That is, if the paradise they speak of exists, it is my right. How is it your right?
Because, he says, I have money, I have property, I have (?), he says. I am strong, he says. If there is paradise, he says, it is my right, he says.
Against Allah, who created money, matter and existence, with his matter he will get himself forgiven by Allah, or paradise will be his right. Whereas when you see that punishment, it says, not one world — even if there were a world full of jewels, it says, you would want to be saved by giving it to Allah as ransom, it says. Ransom. So, since Allah is the Creator, no one, with the wealth Allah created, against Allah Almighty can feel any strength in himself. Or find it. Because all existence is Allah's. Existence — even this body you carry around is, given to you by your Lord, a trust. A trust. What does it say?
I will call you to account for the way you used these trusts I gave you, it says. bodies too are a trust; so even if a person asks for a respite for a short while, by now that respite is over, because what was written is written; your desire and wish has come to you as destiny. With that destiny of yours, with that mind, with that will of yours, you see this hell, right? You've entered it, right? If there you had turned to Allah in your heart, if you had obeyed Allah, it is impossible that Allah would keep you in hell forever. Is there a verse for this? There is. There is. There is a verse. If only they had known Me here, it says.
You will do it, you will do it — if only they had known here.
They distorted this verse too: if only they had known before, they interpreted it; it contradicts all these verses. If only they had known before — that is, people are unaware of Allah Almighty programming these worlds, people are unaware of Allah Almighty's covenant-making, unaware of what they will do, of what the people to come until the Day of Judgement will do; if only they knew. That is what people say anyway: if people do good, they are good people, and when they do evil, Allah makes them bad; if they did good, He turns them to good. They have interpreted the verses all nonsensically. Nonsensically.
Yes.
So if people had truly known Allah — that is, if even when they saw the punishment of hell they had known Allah, and believed in their hearts in Allah's existence, Allah would have removed hell too. But look what they say in hell.
O Malik, tell your Lord so that the punishment on us may become a little lighter. They can't say it to our Lord. Why? They are waiting for the Lord in their imagination. That imagined Lord who created them will come. They will take revenge on Allah. So this world, within this frame — tearing down this frame and recognizing the Lord in his inner world, the Lord who created the worlds, he cannot. That frame has stayed that way. So in this case Allah Almighty says too: they will not see their Lord.
Those unaware of these verses say it indicates that Allah is seen in paradise. The other says: they will be gathered blind and sightless, it says. If they will be gathered blind and sightless, in Surah As-Sajdah, verse 12, it says: we have come, we have seen, doesn't it? Let us go back once more, doesn't it? Give us a respite, doesn't it? People are unaware of the verses themselves. So when it says they will not see their Lord, what does Allah Almighty mean? He means tawhid. Tawhid, la ilahe illallah. That is, they will not see the Lord they (?) in their own imagination. Because there is no such Lord other than the Lord of the worlds.
Yes.
If people had this knowledge, they would not have interpreted this Quran like this.
When Allah, through prophets and books, told such people: if they deny Allah and the hereafter, inform them of a day when the punishment will come to them and warn them of this punishment of hell — then those who did not heed the prophets' warnings, who mocked them, when in the hereafter they see they have come near the punishment, say to Allah Almighty: Our Lord, give us some time again, send us again to the world. Look how we will worship You. We will follow Your prophets, they say. It is said to them: earlier, did you not swear that there would be no decline for you? Yes. While in the life of the world, mocking the prophets — that resurrection is not true and that they would not be called to account in the hereafter, and even if there were a reckoning, we are great people, we are managers, we are employers, we are people of rank — what kind of punishment could there be for us there? Did you not say that?
With this pride and arrogance of yours, opposing Allah, had you said: deny Allah and the Last Day? Allah Almighty tells them: with this desire and wish of yours, with these characters and feelings of yours, if I sent you to the world not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again. Because Allah has left man free in his will. With this will and wish of his, man — his denial, man his denial — never gives up. Yes.
