Translation
While they should take lesson from what struck the ones before them, they still don’t believe (in the Qur’an).
Tafsir
Allah (swt) destroyed the people who rebelled against Him and went beyond the limits in immorality and wickedness, giving them a torment in this world and an eternal torment in the Hereafter. The people who come after them settle in their homelands and instead of taking examples from those who perished and turning towards worshipping Allah, they push Allah's limits even more than the people who perished in the past. They do not believe in Allah and the Qur'an. Every soul will pass away from this world by living its own covenant and destiny. Our return is to Allah.
On that Day of Reckoning, the righteous and the unrighteous will be separated by the Judge of Judges, and each soul will receive its reward for what it has done. It is our heart's desire that people will receive the certificate of salvation and enter the land of eternal bliss. However, when the rebellious leave this world, disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, deny the Qur'an and go to the Hereafter, they will be subjected to eternal persecution and suffering. They will receive their reward as criminals in chains, eternal inhabitants of Hell.
What is said in the video
In Surah Al-Hijr to verse 13 we have come. Although from what befell those before them they should learn a lesson, they still do not believe in this Quran. Now, if, according to this verse, we were to give an example here:
I am your Hodja, I am not here, you have not seen me, but you have not seen me, I have set up a system, I have set up a factory, in this factory I employ you.
I employ you in the factory. In this factory, those who violate the factory's basic laws I throw out of the factory.
I have them removed. But you do not see me. The factory has a law. The workers will work. They will leave what they produce there. They will take nothing home. They will not betray the factory there. The factory has laws. Those who go beyond them, I have thrown out. And they see this. Even seeing it, they still follow the path of these people. What is this? The world is a factory, indeed a factory. And the people on it are each a worker.
The world did not come about by itself. Nor were these people created by themselves, nor did they come here by themselves. So this place has a law. What is that law? Allah's law over people. Since those who overstep the bounds of those laws are destroyed, people, even though they see these, still follow the paths of those destroyed people, He says.
Yes. How beautiful it is. How beautiful it is in the verse. We are giving an example like this. Yes. Although from what befell those before them they should learn a lesson, they still do not believe in this, in the Quran, He says.
Allah Almighty, by destroying the people who rebelled against Him and exceeded the bounds in immorality and evil, has both given them a punishment in this world and will leave them subject to an eternal, painful punishment they will meet in the hereafter. The people who come after them settle in their lands, and instead of these destroyed people taking lessons and turning to obedience and worship of Allah, they, putting the peoples destroyed in the past to shame, push Allah's bounds even more than them. They do not believe in Allah and the Quran. Every soul will depart this world, living out its own covenant and destiny.
And our return will be to Allah. On that Day of Reckoning, the Judge of judges will separate the righteous from the wrongdoers, and every soul will receive its reward for what it did. One wishes that people would take into their hands the certificate of salvation, into their hands the certificate of salvation, and attain the abode of eternal bliss. But since those who rebel do not believe in Allah and His Messenger in this world, when, denying the Quran, they go to the hereafter, they are left subject to eternal oppression and suffering. And they receive their decree of recompense as chained, eternal criminals among the people of Hell.
Yes.
