We have sent the seeding wind and We have sent down water from the sky and supported your need with it. You would not have been able to store it (if We didn’t do these).
Tafsir
Winds cause the fertilization of the flowers of vegetables and fruits. When the winds blow, the seeds in the trees fly through the air and enter the fertilization bed of the flowers of the fruits and vegetables, causing the trees to bear fruit. Since Allah created the universe with His knowledge, He explains to people how fruits are fertilized, what the winds do, that He did not create anything in vain, and in every case He proves to people that His Essence exists.
Sending down water from the sky and providing water for the people. Allah (swt) created everything from water. He explains that He created water from the sky with knowledge, and we all know that water is a volatile substance. If we leave some water in an open container, after a few days we see that it has diminished or the container has dried up. If the rivers or seas on earth had not evaporated and returned to the earth in the form of rain, how would these people have found this water? Allah, who created all this with knowledge, invites people to contemplate and reflect, and informs them that there is no other God but Himself, and that Allah is omniscient and omnipotent.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Hijr, verse 22, Surah Al-Hijr, verse 22: We sent the winds as fertilizers. What beautiful knowledge. Fertilizing. In spring, flowers bloom. With their seeds, the winds... As the winds blow, those flowers fly and the fruits are fertilized. Also in spring, bees or flies or birds land on these flowers and, taking honey, carry the seeds here and there, from one side to the other, and so bring about their fertilization. And We sent down water from the sky and met your need for water with it. Had We not done this, you could not have stored enough of that water, He says. Indeed, where would you store it from?
Would you store it from the seas today? I drank desalinated sea water; it sat in my stomach like a stone. In Arabia. It is impossible to drink, I mean. Barely. It is water only good for laundry or washing yourself and the like, water you would drink only in hardship. Otherwise, were it not for that water our Lord sent down from the sky, we truly would not find water. Why wouldn't we find it? Look, from the evaporation of the seas, into the air, rising as clouds, oxygen, let's say, oxygen and hydrogen combine in the cold layer and pure water forms. Pure water. Drinking water forms. However much you water your vineyard and garden, as much as Allah Almighty does by sending it down as rain and watering the garden, you cannot benefit your vegetables or fruit.
You cannot do as much as that water. Take a look at those who water their gardens, and then, when it rains, when it rains, at how the plants burst forth. Yes. In this case, these waters flow through streams either to the seas or to underground rivers, and from there, filtering through again, from the mountain tops as springs, again at certain places in the world they flow as rivers. And it meets people's need for water. To meet the water needs of the creatures He created too, Allah Almighty, in the world, in the most beautiful way, with His knowledge, as far as the places where water can reach people or His creatures, has delivered His water.
Had We not done this, you could not have stored enough of that water, He says. Enough water. He does not say 'you would be left without water' (?). The winds bring about the fertilization of the flowers that vegetables and fruits have opened. As the winds blow, the seeds on the trees fly through the air and, of fruits and vegetables, enter the ovary of the opened flowers, so that the trees bear fruit. Since Allah created the universe with knowledge, by explaining to people how fruits are fertilized, what the winds do, that He created nothing in vain, in every case He proves to people that His Being exists.
Pay attention to every verse: with every verse Allah Almighty affirms His Being, makes His Being known, makes known that apart from Him there is no creator and god, in every verse, mind you. Then in every verse He guides us with knowledge. His sending down water from the sky is to meet people's need for water. Allah Almighty created everything from water. He explains that He created the descent of water from the sky with knowledge.
We all know that water is a volatile substance. If we leave water in an open container, a few days later it has gone down or the container has dried out, as we see. So if the rivers or seas on earth did not evaporate and return to the world as rain, how would these people find this water? Allah, who created these with knowledge, inviting people to reflection and thought, makes known that there is no other god besides Him and that Allah is all-knowing and has power over all things. Yes.
Allah Almighty, as Creator, on condition of not (?) His creatures, is the guarantor of the provision of everything He created.
