Vow to that; We have created mankind, We have created mankind from dry clay, from figurated, dark mud (that We formed).

Tafsir

When Allah (swt) intended to send people to the realm of property to be witnesses against their own souls in a realm where His Essence is invisible, He shaped a dry mud and black clay that He took from the earth and created a body clothe in the likeness of our soul. And by putting the soul of our father Adam into this body clothe, He provided the physical appearance of Adam 'alaihis-salâm' in the form of a body clothe. Then the causes were created and man was sent to the realm of property.

What is said in the video

Yes, we have come to Surah Al-Hijr, verse 26.

Certainly, We created man from a baked, dry clay, from black mud that We shaped, we say. We created him from black mud. Yes. We created man from a baked, dry clay that We shaped, from black mud.

In that case, the trust given to man: if man, inside that trust, in this body we call a trust, himself sees himself like this, he has drifted away from his origin and lives unaware of his origin. What is his origin? His spirit. His origin is his spirit. Spirit, nafs and life are one. Bodies are something else. So death concerns the bodies. Not the spirits.

"Hodja, a man dies and is gone, so how does he stay alive?" "Every soul will taste death, and your return is to Me," it says. So when man dies, the nafs tastes death. The nafs. The spirit does not die. Spirits are immortal. Because they are a part from their Lord. Mind you, I am not one of wahdat al-wujud. Don't misunderstand.

We are created beings, but we are a part from our Lord. We humans have been created honoured above the worlds. The purpose, the purpose of being created honoured above the worlds is because of a part of Himself that our Lord has given to people. In this respect, so that Allah Almighty's Being might be seen in people, He created people as a part of His Being and as a mirror.

Yes.

Süleyman Çelebi, too, says it that way. "I made your being a mirror to My Being," he says. About the Prophet (peace be upon him). If He took the being of the Prophet (peace be upon him) as a mirror, if He says "I created you to see My Being in your being", and if we, from the Prophet's (peace be upon him) spirit, have been created, then we people are each a mirror of His Being. We are partial mirrors. So we are beings created honoured above the worlds. We are created beings.

The First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, the One who remains, who subsists by His own Being, is Allah. We are those who subsist by Allah's Being. Yes. We are not wahdat al-wujud. Understand wahdat al-wujud properly. Yes. Wahdat al-wujud means saying: I too am a Lord. It means saying I am immortal, it means going to compare oneself with Him. Yes. I suppose this point is understood.

Certainly, from a baked, dry clay, from black mud We shaped, We created man. So if man sees his whole body as himself, if from his spirit, his own origin, he stays far away, he has done himself a wrong.

When Allah Almighty, to the first world of people, in a world where His Being is not seen, willed to send people to bear witness against their own selves, taking from the earth a black clay, a black mud, He shaped it and, as the likeness of our spirit, created it as a body (?).

Into this

body garment He put the spirit of our father Adam and, in the form of a body garment, gave Adam (peace be upon him) his outward appearance. Then, with the causes created, man was sent to the material world.

Here an incident of Abraham (peace be upon him) was coming to my mind. To Allah Almighty he says: "How will You bring people back to life?" "Catch two birds from such-and-such mountain and such-and-such mountain," He says. "Tear their heads right off, pound them in a mortar," He says. "Then say kum bi-iznillah," He says, "say kum bi-iznillah," He says, "and you will see them go back to where they came from," He says. "Why," He says, "do you want this? So that your heart may be at ease?" He says. He says: "My Lord, You know my heart too. My heart is already at ease," he says. "I asked so as to see how it happens," he says.

Yes. He catches two birds, pounds them in a mortar. And the birds go back to the same places. So with us too, when our bodies separate from our spirit, when our spirit goes to the barzakh and our bodies to the graves, again in the realm of the hereafter Allah Almighty brings our bodies to life, and "when you, with a driver, come into My presence," He says. What is this driver? When you come before Me with bodies: "We give you life twice and cause you to die twice," according to the verse. He will make our bodies witnesses against us, and saying "You are being returned to the One who first created," the bodies will die there a second time.

But poor people unaware of these verses put people, with their bodies, into paradise and hell. It makes one want to laugh.

And these think they are scholars. And then he stands up against you, saying "I am a man of knowledge." "This man, sir," he says, "did not put our bodies into paradise," he says. And on entering paradise, at the gate of paradise, he brings a pool into being. He brings a lake into being. After washing there, he came out spotless. Amazing, really. Amazing. Yes. Since they know nothing of themselves, and

there is such a nice proverb. "Where there are no sheep," it says, "the goat is Abdurrahman Çelebi."

My late (?) used to say to me, I was very naughty (?). I was a rascal. "Son," he would say, "you've found a village without dogs and you walk around without a stick," he would say. These people too, now that there is no scholar facing them, have found a village without dogs and walk around without a stick. Talk and talk. A different voice from every head.

But Allah does not call anyone to account for something He has not made known. Look, what did I tell you before? Those who listen to me know. "I will make you heard by the seven nations," he said. Did you say it? Is it being made heard? It is. It is being made heard by the seven nations. I don't say empty words. By the grace of Allah. I'm human, of course. Of course we speak, but I don't easily say empty words. Yes.
