Allah Said; “Anymore, no doubt, you are amongst those who are given time!”
Tafsir
So Allah gave Iblis the respite he asked for. Because Allah is exempt from all imperfect attributes. He is the One Who gives to every one who asks for what he wants at Kalu Bela. If Allah had not given Iblis the respite he had asked for, one might have wondered. Was it because Allah could not cope with Iblis and prevent his evil deeds that He did not give him the respite he asked for? Allah is the One who is aware of the condition of all His creatures, and all creatures are under Allah's sovereignty. It is because Allah knows what His creatures will do that He has decreed what will be done and what He has written in advance of what will happen. All creation has received from Allah (swt) what it desires in return for the desires of those who desire from Allah (swt), by giving to Him what each one desires. To prove that they cannot humble Allah, Allah (swt) has given them what they asked for.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Hijr: we have come to verse 37. Allah Almighty said: There is no doubt now, you are among those granted respite, He says. Yes.
You are among those granted respite.
As we read a moment ago: Yet Satan had no influence over them at all. Only so that those who believe in the hereafter and those who remain in doubt might be separated from each other was Satan given the opportunity he asked for. Your Lord is truly the Knower of all things. Yes.
Yes.
And don't forget this part: Surah Saba, verse 23. They ask: is there a rank of intercession? Intercession is not written in the Quran, they say. They say: there is a rank of intercession.
Pay attention to Surah Saba, verse 23. In Allah's presence, the intercession of anyone other than those He Himself permits is of no avail.
So is there intercession? There is. What does it say? Let's look again. In Allah's presence, that is, at the Great Judgement, those whom He Himself permits — who are these He permits? Righteous people. Those to whom He gives the right of intercession for seven up to seventy people. What else? How will we recognise them? Those of whom He says in His verse that neither sorrow nor stain touches their faces — those people.
The intercession of anyone other than them avails nothing. Then, when fear is removed from their hearts, they say: What did your Lord say? They say: He said the truth. He is the Most High, the Great, it says. Yes: those who understand the verses, who, for material gain or else for the position they hold, conceal the verses.
Second: those who present themselves as high, present themselves in a certain position, yet have no knowledge of the verses — pitiful people. Third: those who, out of love of self and fame, have turned their backs on worldly and otherworldly matters, turned their backs on the otherworldly and, amid worldly affairs, have themselves stamped with Islam and, in the guise of Islam, however it occurs to them, interpret the verses. These, the last I mentioned — their (?) is fire. That is, the hypocrite groups. The hypocrites.
Yes. Allah Almighty said — Surah Al-Hijr, the 37th verse. Allah Almighty said: there is no doubt now. You are among those granted respite, He says. So everything was planned beforehand; it is carrying out those plans and projects. These worlds, with a plan and project, until the Day of Judgement will carry on that decree. Allah Almighty also gave Iblis the respite he asked for. For Allah is free of deficient attributes. He is the One who gives everyone who asks what he asks for. Had Allah not given Iblis the respite he asked for, a question like this could have come to mind: Was it that Allah, unable to cope with Iblis, could not prevent the evils he would do, and therefore did not give Iblis the respite he asked for?
Would it come to mind? It would.
So, against man's will mastering itself, the temptation Iblis would give him is stronger, so that, to protect His servants, Allah did not give Iblis this opportunity — one could have said. Yet man's will is very strong. For He gave a part of His essence. He called him capable. (?) Capable. Because capability lies in the spirit. In this respect the will, that in man, the will in that spirit, in the driving of created beings, is above their power. But who follows Satan? Those who go after him by their own will follow him. By their own will. Otherwise Satan has no authority at all over man. Let's say it with the verse again. Yes.
Yet Satan has no influence over them, it says. Over whom? Over people. By Allah, Iblis proved his assumption about them right. Except for the believers, all followed him. Who are the believers? Righteous people.
Righteous people.
21st verse.
Yes.
Here, uh, Ve mâ kâne lehû aleyhim min sultânin illâ li na'leme men yu'minu bi'l-âhirati mimmen. Those who believe in the hereafter, those who don't. Except the believers. Except the believers who believe in the hereafter, it says. All went after him. Who were the believers? The believers. Why has the nafs at peace come up? O soul at peace, your Lord pleased with you, you pleased with your Lord, enter among My servants, enter My Paradise — they are the people to whom He says this. The believer is a person who has become aware of the manifestations. For him there is no turning back.
In this case Allah Almighty, in His verse, says: when We reveal to a prophet, Iblis, it says, sets out to tempt him at all costs. They explain this verse wrongly. Now I'll say the wrongly explained form. I'll say the wrongly explained form. We cancel the temptation Satan gives, and firmly place Our verses in his heart, it says. This is the wrongly explained form. Now I'll say the correct one. We, with strength, strongly, to his heart reveal Our verses, and the temptation Satan would give strikes those verses and is cancelled. Striking the verses, it is cancelled in the face of those verses. That is, again, in response to the revelation, the prophet's — for revelation comes to the prophet — in response to the revelation, the temptation Satan would give, when it strikes the verse Allah Almighty has given — to My servant who knows Me, Satan's temptation (?) (?) — according to the verse, it is cancelled.
Satan's temptation is cancelled. Yes. Otherwise, Allah does not cancel Satan's temptation. He will do what he will do. For He has given him respite. But He reveals His revelation strongly to His servant, and Satan's temptation is cancelled for him (?). Yes. If the verses are known, how beautifully they open each other up. The verses. No one (?) Allah Almighty (?). Yes. May Allah give us all health and well-being. Again, all together, we will continue our lessons. Allah Almighty also gave Iblis the respite he asked for. For Allah is free of deficient attributes. He is the One who gives everyone who asks what he asks for.
He gives everyone who asks what he asks for — I need to open this part up. In the realm of the hereafter, at that address, Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, when He said: I am your Lord — there He is the One who gives man his wish and desire, his aim, as his destiny. I want to (?) this part, but in a broad sense you could also say to this: in the outward world what I want does not happen; that is, when we say He gives everyone who asks what he asks for, we need to add something here. But here we said it would get lost in between. We said we would explain it when opening it up. Sir, what are we saying now? For Allah is free of deficient attributes.
He is the One who gives everyone who asks what he asks for.
It would be better if we corrected this part. everyone who asks what he asks for — one of them within his destiny, the address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm — it would need to be opened up widely; the pages get mixed up. The pages get mixed up. If we reduce the font size, maybe it works; we'd need to work on this part. Let it stay like this. If Allah had given Iblis the respite he asked for, a question like this could have come to mind. That is, had He not given Iblis the respite he asked for — He did give it — had He not given it, a question like this could have come to mind: Was it that Allah, unable to cope with Iblis, could not prevent the evils he would do, and therefore Iblis was not given the respite he asked for?
Allah is that Allah who looks upon the state of all He has created, and all created beings are within Allah's rule. Since Allah knows what His creatures will do, all that He wrote beforehand — what will be done and what will happen — He has taken under His rule. Anyway, these too are slowly opening up here. By His giving everyone who asks what he asks for, in answer to the wishes of those who wish from Allah, all created beings have received their requests from Allah Almighty. As proof that they cannot render Allah helpless, to those who asked of Allah Almighty He has given their requests. Yes.
