Translation

(Iblees) Satan said; “Oh My Lord! In return for my transgression, I will make (sins) appear attractive and I will surely make all of them transgress.”

Tafsir

When Iblis did not renounce his pride and arrogance, and did not repent to Allah (swt), and when he received from Allah (swt) the term he wished for, he expressed his enmity against mankind, saying to Allah (swt), "I will make their sins appear to them on the earth, and I will surely make most of them misguided.

Iblis was so close to Allah, yet he did not recognize Allah (swt) and did not know that Allah (swt) can do whatever He wills, and he did not overcome his pride and arrogance and consented to hell and its torment, even though his place of punishment for disobeying Allah (swt) was hell. He could not repent for his disobedience to Allah.

Because people do not have enough knowledge to recognize this enemy, and because the temptation that Satan gives to human beings appears to them as fancy and pleasant, people immediately follow Satan. They turn their backs on Allah's commands on people. Then they go astray in the middle of the straight path as sinners. Although Satan's place of return is clear, people blindly or because their sins seem to their souls to be adorned, they aspire to Hell, which is an evil place of return.

What is said in the video

Satan is given a life. With verse 39 of Surah Al-Hijr – a wrongly interpreted verse, a wrongly interpreted verse – I'll show you that too here, sir.

Surah Al-Hijr.

Verse 39. They interpreted it like this. Iblis said: My Lord, in return for Your leading me astray, on earth I will make sins seem fair to them and I will surely lead them all astray, it says. Now, Allah forbid, if this verse is interpreted this way, then Allah directly ends up as having wronged His creatures. Now I'll read it once more. Perhaps you didn't grasp the meaning here. Iblis said: My Lord, in return for Your leading me astray. Did Allah lead Satan astray? Or, when Allah told Adam and, um, the angels and Satan: Prostrate to Adam, the angels prostrated to Adam, and Satan, by not prostrating, opposed Allah – did Allah, did Allah lead Satan astray, or did Satan rebel against Allah?

I mean, there's such an illogical interpretation of the verse here. Attributes are being ascribed to Allah. We warn so much. We've told the relevant places too. They're still asleep. Asleep. As if the earth of the dead had been thrown over them. May Allah reform them too. In the verses, doesn't Allah Almighty say, after the spirit was placed in Adam, to the angels, to Satan (?): prostrate yourselves? The angels prostrate. But Satan opposes Allah Almighty. You created me from fire, him from earth, he says. Earth does not purify fire. Fire purifies earth, he says. It becomes a game of logic and he opposes Allah's command.

In that case, is it Allah who leads him astray? Or is it Satan who goes astray because he opposed Allah's command? And what does it say here? Iblis said: My Lord, in return for Your leading me astray, on earth I will make their sins seem fair to them and I will surely lead them all astray, it says. Whereas what do we say here? Iblis said: My Lord, in return for my going astray, that is, my rebellion. See how beautiful. In return for my going astray, my rebellion, on earth I will make sins seem fair to them and I will surely lead them all astray, he says. All of them. Of course, his saying 'all of them' is Satan's guess.

Yes. And Allah Almighty says: to My servant who knows Me, to My servant, your temptation is foolish. Yes.

We read the verse once more, correctly. Iblis said: My Lord, in return for my going astray, my rebellion, on earth I will make sins seem fair to them, that is, to people. That is, I will make the whims of the nafs look beautiful to them. And I will surely lead them all astray. Today they see it on television. Allah Almighty – you know, although tattoos are forbidden, they get tattoos on their arms. They uncover their (?) and show those ornaments, those tattoos. Sir, outside many of Allah's commands, they (?) naked. They compete with each other. Naked, naked, they compete with each other and, sir, they see themselves as modern, civilized or high society.

In that case, with fame and glory, pride and arrogance, they become Satan's toy and are dragged toward destruction. Allah protect us. Allah protect us. (?) people – if they had known of Allah's oneness, or of the Great Tribunal, that Allah will call us to account – and it does exist – and if those at the head had interpreted the verses well to them, could these people have come to this state? Yes. Of course. Then again, since everyone will live their own destiny, since no one can change anyone else's destiny, everyone will prove to Allah Almighty what kind of person they are in this world. Iblis, without giving up his arrogance and pride, without (?) toward Allah Almighty, in that (?) of pride and arrogance, once he got from Allah Almighty the time he wished, toward people he (?) his hostility.

I too will make their sins look fair to them on earth. And I will surely lead most of them astray – he spoke these words against Allah Almighty.

Iblis, while being so close to Allah – I mean, what does that mean? Being so close to Allah means he had risen as far as being the angels' teacher, and because he held Allah Almighty great, on earth, he says, there is not a hand's breadth of soil where my forehead has not come down in prostration to the Most Merciful. That is, he prostrated to Him. In this respect, because he worshipped so much, he got the name 'miser of worship'. Miser of worship. Eba Mürreh – he got that name. Eba Mürreh. Yes.

Iblis, while so close to Allah, could not recognize Allah Almighty, and that Allah, if He wills, carries out whatever He wills. he could not know. Although by rebelling against Allah his place would be hell, (?), he could not overcome his pride and arrogance, and to hell and the torment of hell he consented. For his disobedience to Allah he did not repent and seek forgiveness. Yes.

We too make mistakes. Sir, Allah Almighty did not create any being without fault anyway. The reason He did not create them faultless – especially for humans: If I had created you faultless, He says, We would destroy you and create in your place servants who commit faults. That is, man will know his helplessness, will know his Lord's greatness, and will apologize to Him, ask for pardon and forgiveness. So we too make mistakes, but in the face of the mistake we make, what do we say right away? We say: O Allah, forgive us. Forgive us. Yes. There too, sir, it was time for the night prayer.

Yes. Like this, the Prophet Jonah's prayer, I recite it a lot. What does the verse say? Jonah, when he was distressed in the sea, on the fish's back or in its belly, says: La ilahe illa ente sübhaneke inni küntü mine'z-zalimin. I have wronged myself, O Allah, forgive me, he says. Yes, by making mistakes we commit sins, and in that case we have wronged ourselves. Toward Allah Almighty: O my Lord, we have known ourselves to be helpless. You, You as Creator are our Lord. We have wronged ourselves. In a period of ignorance, or in a situation beyond our understanding. We have wronged ourselves. When we say forgive us, it fits the purpose for which Allah Almighty created us and He forgives us right away with pardon and forgiveness.

He grants us His mercy. What was the purpose? To know our helplessness, to know our Lord as great, to take refuge in Him and to put our trust in Him. Yes, and since people do not have sufficient knowledge to recognize this enemy or not, and since the temptation Satan gives seems adorned and pleasant to man, people quickly follow after Iblis. They turn their backs on Allah's commands over people. In that case, as sinners, they go astray in the middle of the (?) road. Although Satan's place of return is plainly evident, people, blindly or because sins appear adorned to their nafs, they too seek that hell, what an evil place of return.

May Allah protect us from such a state. May He protect us from such an understanding. Yes.
