Tafsir
O people! After Allah (swt) has proved His Essence in a way that every knowledge and every intellect can understand, He invites people to the religion of Islam in order for them to find salvation. Within this religion, He says to perform the prayer and pay the zakat.
All created people are servants of Allah. By giving from their wealth to those in need, wealthy people are giving Zakat and charity from their wealth, with the light of Allah in their hearts, and in that light, with compassion for Allah's creatures.
Whoever judges by the judgments of Allah, these are the people who will attain salvation. In the Hereafter, they are the heirs to the promised Gardens of Allah (swt). Those who have attained the blessings of Paradise that Allah has promised, these are the people who have attained the mercy of Allah.
Whoever Allah has mercy on, that person is under the mercy of Allah. Allah forgives the sins of such people, which they have committed as human beings, with His attribute of Gaffar, and covers their sins with His attribute of Settar. And these are the ones who have been shown mercy.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Nur, verse fifty-six. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Ve ekîmu's-salâte ve âtu'z-zekâte ve etîu'r-resûle leallekum turhamûn. Perform the prayer, give the zakat, obey the Prophet so that you may receive mercy, it says. How beautifully it puts it. Perform the prayer, give the zakat, obey the Prophet so that you may receive mercy. What is prayer? It is bowing in Allah's presence, it is ruku, it is prostration, it is obedience to Him. What is obedience to the Prophet? It is that by obeying the Prophet we have carried out Allah's commands. Allah's commands. Yes. Obeying the Prophet does not mean worshipping him, far from it.
Because Allah's commands were made known to us through the Prophet, obeying what the Prophet has made known to us is obeying Allah. No prophet says to his people: leave Allah and be servants to me. This is a verse too. Yes.
O people! Allah Almighty, after proving His Being in a way every kind of knowledge and intellect can understand, so that people may find salvation, invites them to the religion of Islam. Within this religion He commands: perform the prayer and give the zakat. All created humans are Allah's servants.
Only humans? Animals too. All created beings are Allah's servants.
Wealthy people, by giving from their wealth to those in need, with the light of Allah in these people's hearts, and within this light showing mercy to Allah's creatures, by giving zakat, give from their wealth in charity. By giving zakat. Whoever is bound by Allah's rulings, those are the people who attain salvation. They are the ones who inherit the gardens of Paradise that Allah Almighty promised in the hereafter. Whoever attains the blessings of Paradise that Allah promised, these are people who have attained Allah Almighty's mercy. Whomever Allah has shown mercy, that person is under Allah's mercy.
The sins such people committed through their human nature Allah Almighty, with His attribute al-Ghaffar, forgives, and with His attribute as-Sattar He covers their sins. These are the ones who have truly been shown mercy. Amen.
