An-Nur 58: Oh you believers! The ones in your household, under your hands (slaves and jariyah) and the children who have not reached adolescent yet, should ask for permission three times (when entering your bedrooms): before the morning prayer, when you take your clothes off at noon, and after the late evening prayer. These are the three times when you can stay without cover. Aside from these times, there is no sin for you in coming and going from each other’s rooms. This is how Allah explains Revelations to you. Verily, Allah is Aleem (All-knowing) and Hakeem (Ultimatly-Wise).

Tafsir
O you who believe! People who have believed in Allah and the Hereafter and have embraced the religion of Islam! Do not let your concubines or slaves or children of full age who are under your control enter your bedrooms before the Fajr prayer, at noon while they are asleep in kaylule, or after the Isha prayer, unless you give them permission to do so. Because at these times people undress and go to bed, and their private parts may be open. Or he may have been with his wife, which may have created situations that are private for people to see.
To prevent people from seeing their private parts inappropriately, be sure to ask permission from the people whose bedrooms you are going to enter. Before entering, knock on the door and introduce yourself; if there is no sound from inside, repeat the gesture twice more and call out three times; if there is still no sound from inside or if entry is not permitted, move away from the door so as not to disturb people.
The age of puberty is the age of menstruation for girls. For boys, it is considered to be the age of fifteen, but this is the age at which boys come into contact with the dream world, with women, and become ihtilam. This may vary depending on the age of the children.
Apart from these three times, there is nothing wrong with people in a family going in and out of each other's company. This is because apart from these three times, it is a time when people do not sleep undressed, but rather lie down to rest. During these times, members of the same family can come in and out of each other's homes.
It is narrated that this verse was revealed as follows. One noon, the Prophet (PBUH) sent a Companion named Mudlic to summon Hadrat Umar r.a. to his presence. Mudlic entered Hazrat Umar's room without permission. 'Umar was asleep and probably the cover he had put on him had been opened. When Hazrat Umar (r.a.) was awakened, he was upset and wished in his heart that at times like this, it would be forbidden to enter bedrooms without permission. When he arrived in the presence of the Prophet (PBUH), he praised Allah that the above verse had just been revealed.
Islam is very respectful of manners and etiquette. In Islam, morality and manners are the foundation of religion. A person who has no decency and manners, no haya, his worship is not acceptable. The Prophet (PBUH) says (al iman minal haya) that haya is one of faith. In this respect, people whose morals have collapsed have no fear of Allah, and when Allah is mentioned, they feel bored and want to get away from it. If such people say they are Muslims, they have reached the weakest point of faith. If they are outside Islam, they have no testicles.
If a people is subjected to moral degradation, calamities will befall that people. A tribe loses its freedom when three things come together. Moral degradation occurs when the tribe is ruled by incompetent people and bribes enter its official offices.
In one of his hadiths, the Prophet (PBUH) says: "Love of homeland is a part of faith". Those people who believe and have faith in the faith and morals of Islam live in their homelands, protecting their homelands, protecting their morals and virtues, being connected to each other by ties of brotherhood, protecting their honor and dignity, respecting decency and manners. Therefore, when they obey Allah's commands, they live in peace.
What is said in the video
Yâ eyyühellezîne âmenû, it says. O you who believe! Surah An-Nur, verse 58. O you who believe! Your slaves and slave girls under your authority, and those among you who have not yet reached puberty, before the morning prayer, at noon when you undress, and after the night prayer, when they would enter your bedrooms, let them ask your permission three times. A ruling of the Sharia.
Noon here means the midday nap, qaylula.
These are three times when your private parts may be uncovered. Outside these times there is no harm, neither for you nor for them. You may go in and out to one another. Thus Allah explains the verses to you. Allah is All-Knowing, the Owner of judgment and wisdom.
Now, a fatwa is one thing, taqwa is another.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) would wrap himself in his garment and lie down. "O prophet who lies wrapped in his garment," it says, "arise."
This is taqwa. But in the fatwa, how beautifully Allah Almighty sets a Sharia ruling here. What does it say? Those among you who have not yet reached puberty: before the morning prayer a person undresses and lies down, right? He may sleep naked. Even if his private parts are covered, he is naked. Or he is being intimate with his wife. Well, when you undress before the prayer, when you undress at noon, and after the night prayer – how beautifully it says it – when they would enter your bedrooms, let them ask your permission three times. Instruct your children. Let them not barge in suddenly, thinking "it's my father, my mother".
Let them not be seen in an improper state. How beautifully it says it.
These are three times when your private parts may be uncovered, it says. Before the morning prayer, at noon, and after the night prayer. Three times. Outside these times there is no harm, neither for you nor for them. You may go in and out. You may go in and out to one another. Thus Allah explains the verses to you. Allah is All-Knowing, the Owner of judgment and wisdom.
O you who believe! You people who believe in Allah and the hereafter and have been honoured with the religion of Islam, the slave girls or slaves under your authority and children who have not come of age, before the morning prayer, at noon while you take the midday nap, or after the night prayer, when they want to enter your bedrooms, unless they have your permission, let them not come in. Because at these times, when people (?) first lie down, their private parts may be uncovered. Or, being together with their spouse, situations that must not be seen by people may have arisen. So that their private parts are not seen by people in an improper way, always ask permission from those whose bedrooms you are going to enter.
Before going in, knock on the door and make yourself known. If no sound comes from inside, repeat this twice more and call out three times. If still no sound comes from inside, or if you are not allowed to enter, move away from the door so as not to disturb people. For girls, puberty is the age at which (?) occurs. For boys, although it is put at age 15, it is the time when boys, in the world of dreams, through contact with women, have a wet dream. And this age can vary according to the children's condition. Outside these three times, there is no harm in people within the family going in and out to one another.
Because outside these three times, people's sleep is not done undressed but rather is a time they take to rest a little. At these times, those of the same family may go in and out to one another.
The way these verses were revealed is narrated as follows. One noon the Prophet (peace be upon him) sends a Companion named Mudlij to Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him).
Mudlij enters Hazrat Umar's room without knocking. And Hazrat Umar is lying stark naked. Seeing him, he is ashamed and quickly covers himself.
Then he says inwardly: My Allah, if only You would send down a verse so that houses and rooms are not entered suddenly like this. Upon this, they say, this verse was revealed. Yes. Mudlij entered Hazrat Umar's room without permission. Whereas Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was sleeping. And probably the cover he had over him had come open. When Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was woken, he was annoyed and wished from his heart: if only at such times entering bedrooms without permission were forbidden. When he came into the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and learned that the above verse had just been revealed, he praised Allah.
So Islam pays great regard to manners and propriety. In Islam, morality and modesty form the foundation of the religion. The worship of a person without manners, propriety and modesty is not accepted either. The Prophet (peace be upon him): el iman minel hayâ. "Modesty is part of faith," he says. Therefore, just as people who have fallen into moral decay have no fear of Allah, they also feel uneasy in places where Allah is remembered and want to get away from there. Such people, if (?) Islam, have come to the weakest point of faith. And if they are outside Islam, they have no modesty anyway.
If a people is exposed to moral decay, that people never lacks calamities. A people loses its freedom when three things come together. What are they? First, its moral decay. Its being exposed to moral decay. The people being governed by incompetent people – the Republic of Turkey, until Tayyip came, remaining in the hands of incompetent people. Even if some competent people came, they too could do nothing against the power of foreign circles.
Now our state is in the hands of competent people. We had already fallen into decay. What is it? Well, a people loses its freedom when three things come together. Its being exposed to moral decay, the people being governed by incompetent people, and bribery entering the official offices of this people; that is how it comes about. The Prophet (peace be upon him) says in a hadith that love of the homeland is part of faith. These people, who believe and have faith with the faith and morality of Islam, in their own homeland, standing up for their homeland, within morality and virtue, bound to one another by ties of brotherhood, preserving their honour and dignity, observing manners and propriety, carry on their lives.
Therefore, when they observe Allah's commands, they live in peace. Yes.
