An-Nur 62: The believers (mu’min) are truly those who believe (with a believing heart) in Allah and Allah’s Messenger. When they are upon a matter with the Prophet, they do not leave without asking for permission. (Oh Messenger!) Those who ask for your permission are the ones who have truly believed in Allah and Allah’s Messenger. Thus, when they ask for permission for some of their matters, give permission to those who desire. Ask Allah for their forgiveness. Allah is Ghafoor (Most Forgiving) and Raheem (the One Who very generously accepts repentance).

Tafsir
The Companions are those who are devoted to Allah and His Messenger. Since they were aware of the revelations of Allah (swt), they were named Companions. In this regard, the Prophet (PBUH) said in one of his hadiths, "My companions are like the stars in the sky, whichever of them you follow, you will find the truth.
These are the people who, out of their manners and etiquette, when they gather in the presence of the Prophet (pbuh) for any business, do not want to leave the Prophet (pbuh)'s side. They are the people who, even if they have urgent work to do, if they have a free moment in their urgent work, they prefer to spend it with the Prophet (SAW).
The Companions used to wait for a time when the Prophet was not resting so that when they went out they could see him and listen to his conversation. At the same time, with decorum and good manners, they would go to the Prophet (SAW) and sit and listen to his conversation. In this case, they would behave in a way that would attract the Prophet's attention and wait for him to call them. To people so devoted to Allah and His Messenger, Allah (swt) says in His verse: "O Prophet, the believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger with their hearts. They do not leave the Prophet when they are on a common business with him unless they ask his permission). So the people who were devoted to Allah and His Messenger and did not want to leave the Prophet's presence, surely something urgent had come up and they had to ask permission to leave the Prophet's presence.
Allah (swt) praises the Prophet (saw) and the believers, saying: ((O Messenger!) Those who ask your permission are those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger. So, when they ask your permission for some of their affairs, give permission to the one who asks for it. These are the people who have sincerely believed and trusted in Allah. This is because these people believed in Allah and His Messenger wholeheartedly when they made a covenant with Allah, and Allah (swt) has written this belief of these people as their destiny. Therefore, Allah is the One who knows the extent to which people believe in Allah and His Messenger and He is the One who has given them their desires as their destiny. Allah also knows the intentions of all people. In this respect, praising the Companions and the believers and saying, "When they ask you for permission, give permission to the one who asks you for permission," means that the Prophet (PBUH) wants his companions to help him. In this case, it is to strengthen the bonds between the Companions and the Prophet and to leave Islam as an example and example for future generations with respect and love for each other as one body.
Since the Prophet (PBUH) was very mild-tempered and did not offend anyone, the Prophet (PBUH) would certainly give permission to those who would ask permission from the Prophet (PBUH), and Allah (swt), knowing this morality of the Prophet (PBUH), by saying, "Give permission to those who ask you for permission," indicates that it is permissible to give permission to those who ask permission from the Companions. Because they do not ask for permission in vain.
(Ask forgiveness from Allah for them. Allah is forgiving, merciful) O Prophet! Pray for these people who have asked your permission, these believers, and those who are so devoted to Allah and His Messenger. Allah has made the prayers of the Prophet (SAW) acceptable. This is because the Prophet (PBUH) did not ask Allah to give anyone a position that he could not reach unjustly, subject to his ego. He also does not curse anyone. He knows the commands of Allah and how to pray to Allah.
When Allah said, "Pray for these people," He said, "These are the people who are believers. And also the Ashab al-Kiram. They have great status in the sight of Allah. O Prophet! Pray for them. Through the blessing of your supplication, may Allah elevate their stations in His sight and give them more of His bounty. And may Allah forgive their sins. For they are devoted to Allah and His Messenger. Whoever fulfills Allah's commands in order to draw closer to Allah, Allah will draw closer to that person and forgive them their sins.
Whoever loves Allah, Allah loves him. Whoever remembers Allah in a community, Allah remembers him in a better community. He who remembers Allah in himself, Allah remembers him in His Essence and elevates him.
Allah is very forgiving and very merciful. Allah loves His servants very much. Therefore, He forgives those who turn to Him and ask for forgiveness and forgives them, and He rewards them for their sins. Allah forgives those who take refuge in Him, for there is no other refuge but Allah. In this respect, Allah is very forgiving and very merciful to His servants.
What is said in the video
To verse 62 we have come. This is a wrongly explained verse. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. İnnemel mü'minûnellezîne âmenû billâhi ve rasûlihî. Let's see, give me the thing. Where is the mistake? Where is the mistake? Let's take a look here. Yes.
Surah An-Nur, verse 61 itself has already come.
Pardon?
No, verse 62. The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger from the heart. Now I'm reading (?). Let's see, where is the mistake here? This part is correct. When they are with that Prophet on a common matter, they do not leave without asking his permission. My Messenger, those who ask your permission are truly the ones who believe in Allah and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission for some of their affairs, give permission to whomever you wish among them. Ask Allah's forgiveness for them. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful, it says. We have written:
My Messenger, those who ask your permission are truly the ones who believe in Allah and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission for some of their affairs, then of them give permission to the one who asks your permission. To the one who asks your permission. That part is in parentheses. For them, from Allah (?). Yes. What does it say here? So when they ask your permission for some of their affairs, then of them – what does it say here?
Verse 62. So when they ask your permission for some affairs, give permission to whomever you wish among them, it says. Whomever you wish. Now, when it's "whom he wishes", it doesn't work. You gave it to him, you gave it to me, you didn't give permission, he'll say. This would be wrong. Whomever you wish. Whereas what have we written? So when they ask your permission for some affairs, then of them give permission to those who ask your permission. Give permission to those who ask your permission. Ask Allah's forgiveness for them. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. Now, what does it say at the beginning anyway?
Pay attention. Its ending must be like this too. The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger from the heart, it says. From the heart. If he had no business he wouldn't ask anyway. When they are with that Prophet on a common matter, without asking his permission they do not leave. See, without asking permission. My Messenger, those who ask your permission are truly the ones who believe in Allah and His Messenger. How beautifully it says it. So when they ask your permission for some of their affairs, then of them, to those who ask your permission give permission. To those who ask your permission.
What does it say here? Give permission to whomever you wish, it says. Then he also gives permission to one who has no need. Here there is (?).
The noble Companions are people devoted from the heart to Allah and His Messenger.
Since they had come to know the manifestations of Allah Almighty, they received the name Sahaba. Therefore the Prophet (peace be upon him) also, in one of his hadiths: "My Companions are like the stars in the sky. Whichever of them you follow, you will find the truth," he says. Which verse does this correspond to?
It will be – Allah knows best – verse 100 of Surah At-Tawbah. Let's have a look, let's look.
Surah At-Tawbah, Surah At-Tawbah. Let's have a look, let's look. What does verse 100 say?
The first forerunners in entering the religion of Islam among the Muhajirun and the Ansar, and those who followed them in goodness.
How beautiful. Isn't it so? Those who followed them in goodness. Them, you see – Allah is pleased with them. And they are pleased with Allah. There it is: my Companions are like the stars in the sky. Whichever of them you follow, you will find the truth. The verse.
These, in their manners and propriety, when they gathered for some matter in the presence of the Prophet (peace be upon him), were people who did not want to leave the side of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Even with urgent matters, if amid these urgent matters they caught a free moment as long as a breath, they were people who preferred to spend that time with the Prophet (peace be upon him) instead. How do you know? Writings written by living it. By living it, these. The noble Companions, in order to see the Prophet and to listen to his talk at his side, would wait for a time when he was not resting, so that when he came out they would see the Prophet.
And at the same time, so that with manners and propriety they could go in to the Prophet (peace be upon him), sit with him and listen to his talk. In this situation, behaving in ways that would draw the attention of the Prophet (peace be upon him), they would wait for him to call them. To people so devoted to Allah and His Prophet, Allah Almighty says in His verse: O Prophet, the believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger from the heart. When they are with that Prophet on a common matter, without asking his permission they do not leave. So people who are devoted from the heart to Allah and His Messenger and do not want to leave the Prophet's side – these people surely had a very urgent matter come up, so that, to leave the Prophet (peace be upon him), they were obliged to ask permission.
Allah Almighty, praising the state of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the believers, says: My Messenger, those who ask your permission are truly the ones who have believed in Allah and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission for some of their affairs, then of them give permission to those who ask your permission. These people are people who have believed in Allah from the heart and have faith. Because when people made the covenant with Allah Almighty, during their covenant with Allah and His Prophet they believed from the heart, and Allah Almighty wrote this belief of these people for them as their destiny.
Therefore Allah is the One who knows to what degree and how people believe in Allah and the Prophet, His Prophet, and who gives them their wishes as their destiny. Allah knows the intentions of all people. Therefore, praising the noble Companions and the believers, His saying "when they ask your permission, give permission to the one who asks your permission" means He wants the Prophet (peace be upon him) to help his Companions. This is so that, strengthening the bonds between the noble Companions and the Prophet, like one body, with respect and love for one another, they leave Islam to coming generations as an example and a lesson.
And since the Prophet (peace be upon him) was very gentle and had a character that hurt no one, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would surely give permission to those who would ask him for permission, and Allah Almighty, who knows this character of the Prophet (peace be upon him), by saying "give permission to the one who asks your permission", indicates that to every one of the noble Companions who asks permission, permission be given, be granted. Because they do not ask for permission in vain. Ask Allah's forgiveness for them. Allah is Forgiving. Merciful. O Prophet! These people who ask your permission, these believers, those so devoted to Allah and His Messenger – you too pray for them.
Allah has made the supplications of the Prophet (peace be upon him) accepted. Because the Prophet (peace be upon him), following his nafs, does not unjustly ask Allah for anyone a rank they cannot reach. Nor does he curse anyone. He knows Allah's commands and how to pray to Allah very well.
He knows that the noble Companions will go to the hereafter (?). In this situation the Prophet does not say for these Companions of his: My Allah, make each of them a qutb. What then? My Allah, make them high in their ranks. Make their stations high. Yes. Grant them to benefit from my intercession while in this world, he says. Yes. And he says (?). He asks Allah's forgiveness for them. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. O Prophet! These people who ask your permission, these believers, those so devoted to Allah and His Messenger – you too pray for them. Allah has made the supplications of the Prophet (peace be upon him) accepted.
Because the Prophet (peace be upon him), following his nafs, does not unjustly for anyone a rank they cannot reach ask of Allah. Nor does he curse anyone. He knows Allah's commands and how to pray to Allah very well. When Allah says "you too pray for these people", these people are believers. And moreover they are the noble Companions. These have great ranks in Allah's sight. O Prophet, pray for them. Through the blessing of your prayer, may Allah too exalt their ranks in His sight and give them from His grace, generosity and bounty. And may Allah forgive their sins. because they are devoted from the heart to Allah and His Messenger.
Whoever carries out Allah's commands to draw near to Allah, Allah Almighty too draws nearer to that person, and forgives them their sins. Whoever loves Allah, Allah loves him too. Whoever remembers Allah in a gathering, Allah too remembers that person in a gathering better than it. And whoever remembers Allah within himself, Allah remembers him in His own Self and raises him. Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful. Allah loves His servants very much. Therefore, just as He forgives one who turns to Him asking pardon and forgiveness, the sins they have committed He also changes into good deeds.
Since there is no other door to take refuge in than Allah, those who take refuge in Allah, Allah forgives. Therefore Allah is very forgiving toward His servants, very merciful.
