And when the messengers came to the house of Lot.
Tafsir
The angels who had given good news to Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' about a good and wise son, Hadrat Ismail, who would be born to Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' by Allah's command, left Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' and came to Hadrat Lot's house.
These angels are the angels who descended to the earth by Allah's command to fulfill the commandment of Allah. They appear as if they had come to Hadrat Lut (as) a guest in human form.
