We revealed to him (Lot) this revelation from Us: “when they enter the morning, they will cease (to exist).”
Tafsir
In order to calm the heart of Hadrat Lot, Allah (swt) revealed to the heart of Lot (swt) that they would surely be cut off in the morning.
Those who mocked the Prophets, who challenged Allah by disbelieving in Him, who said, "Where is your Allah, if there is one, then bring us the punishment," who pushed the limits of Allah's judgment or exceeded them, these are the people who have suffered loss in this world and in the Hereafter, and who have pity on themselves.
Allah (swt) tells people about the unseen by narrating the past events in His verses, in order to inform them that He is the Before and the After, the Revealed and the Unseen, and that there is no other Deity besides Him. If there had been another Deity along with Him, that Deity would have sent His messengers to people to inform them of His decrees. Since there is no such thing, since the beginning of the humanity in the realm of property, since the beginning of our father Adam, the one and only God has always declared His sovereignty and proved His existence on human beings more strongly than the apparent appearance.
So, what kind of a mind denies Allah or harbors doubts and suspicions in its heart in the face of so many incidents, events, destructions, blessings, merciful provision, despite the obvious knowledge of Allah? Those who turn their backs on Allah, in the thrall of the ego and Satan, despite the fact that every rational person knows the existence of Allah, will surely be questioned about their ungrateful deeds and will be repaid in full for their ungrateful acts.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Hijr, verse 66. We gave him, Lot, this decree of Ours: as they enter the morning, their last remnant will surely have been cut off. Surely. So that Prophet Lot's heart would find more calm, Allah Almighty too, to Prophet Lot's heart, by revelation: as they enter the morning, their last remnant will surely have been cut off. He revealed this decree. Allah Almighty also makes it known. In addition, so that his heart would be at ease.
In this case, those who mock the prophets, who challenge Allah by not believing, those who say, where is your Allah, if He exists, come on, bring us the punishment, those who strain the limits of the religious law Allah has set, or overstep these limits, these are the peoples who suffer loss in this world and the Hereafter, who wrong themselves. Allah Almighty, through His verses, telling people of past events and speaking of the unseen is so that He makes known that His Being is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, and that there is no other god besides Him. If there had been another god with Him, that god too would have sent his messengers to people to make his rulings known.
Since there is no such thing, in the material realm, since our father Adam, the beginning of the human world, it has always been that one Allah who made His rule known and has, even more strongly than by outward appearance, over people proven His existence.
If there had been another god besides the one Allah, Allah Almighty would take His own creatures, the other would take his own creatures, and the world would fall into corruption, it says. So in the face of so many events, happenings, destructions, (?), sustenance given in mercy, although Allah is openly known, what kind of mind is it that denies Allah, or with doubts in its heart harbors suspicions about Allah? So those who, although every person of reason fully knows Allah's existence, as captives of the nafs and Satan turn their backs on Allah, for these ungrateful deeds will surely be questioned about what they did, and the recompense will be given to them in full.
Yes.
