(Oh My Messenger!) Vow by your life! they were confused in their drunkness.
Tafsir
The meaning of Allah swearing by the life of the Prophet (s.a.w.) is that Allah created all these worlds from the light of the Prophet (s.a.w.). In this respect, the Prophet (pbuh) has become (vema erselnake illa rahmetan lil alamin). By swearing on the Prophet (s.a.w.), he swears on all these creations. Since His Essence created all that He has created, Allah swears by His Essence and says, "For the sake of life".
(They were floundering in their intoxication). The feelings of disbelief in Allah in their souls had brought people to such an extent that they had reached the peak of evil in their souls that they became blind, deaf and deaf to the truth around them, deaf to the words of the Truth, blind, deaf and deaf, and their hearts were sealed, and they became lower and more perverse than the animals walking on the earth. These were the people who were blind and deaf at the peak of the evil in their souls and lost themselves in the intoxication of the ego and lust.

Surah Al-Hijr, verse 72. Allah Almighty means the Beloved of the Majestic One, the Seal of the Prophets, our master the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) — He means his life, He swears by his life. The worlds from his light, and humans from his spirit, were created. Our Lord, by giving a part of His spirit, has taken him as a mirror to His essence. By the verse in which He says, "Were it not for you, I would not have created the worlds", he has been honoured.
A prophet — He swears by a prophet. What does He say? My Messenger, by your life, they were wandering blindly in their drunkenness, He says.
What kind of drunkenness is this?
Having become captive to the desires of their nafs, having followed Satan as he deceived them, having overstepped the bounds of Allah, having let a veil be drawn over their eyes so that they cannot see the truth — the drunkenness of such people. The meaning of Allah Almighty swearing by the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is this: Allah Almighty, from the light of the Prophet (peace be upon him), brought all these worlds into being. For this reason the Prophet (peace be upon him) has become ve mâ erselnâke illâ rahmeten li'l-âlemîn. In swearing by the Prophet (peace be upon him), He swears by all these creations of His.

And all these creations of His (?) Allah, swearing by His own essence, says: by your life. They are wandering blindly in their drunkenness. (?) has brought servants, people, to such a state that people, rising to the peak of the evils in their nafs, the truths around them do not see, do not hear the words of the truth; blind, deaf, with sealed hearts, (?) baser and even more astray than the animals that walk on the earth — that is what they have become. So these people, at the peak of the evil in their nafs, since they are in the state of the blind and the deaf, in the drunkenness of (?) and lust, themselves...
