Translation

At dawn, that terrible blast seized them.

Tafsir

They were a lost tribe in the grip of a disease like homosexuality. They used to leave women and marry homosexuals of their own sex. Allah (swt) sent Hazrat Lut (peace be upon him) to this people as a Prophet to warn those who were practicing these immoral acts that Allah (swt) did not want to see on human beings, and to make them give up these behaviors. However, this perverted people ostracized Hadrat Lot and left him alone. They challenged Allah, in whom they did not believe, and wished for Allah's punishment. Allah (swt) wiped out this transgressing people from the face of the earth. This is the destruction of a nation, first by a terrible sound, then by a noise and the upheaval of their land, then by stones baked in clay being left on them, and then by their erasure from the history of the world. This is the only remembrance and example that a nation can leave behind as an example for the generations that will come after them through their terrible suffering and destruction on earth.

What is said in the video

Being at the peak of the evil within them, like the blind and the deaf, they are people who have lost themselves in the drunkenness of (?) and lust. May Allah protect all of us from being like this, from being among such a people, from being among such people. Yes.

Surah Al-Hijr, verse 73, that is where we have arrived. We are going through a bit quickly. We are on their meanings anyway. As the sun was rising, that terrible sound seized them, says Allah Almighty. As the sun was rising. Everything has its time. Allah Almighty has programmed all these worlds, and according to this program, when the time and hour of everything comes, it surely appears. As the sun was rising, that terrible sound seized them. This people had lost themselves in the grip of an affliction like homosexuality; that is the state they were in.

Leaving women, they would practise homosexuality with their own sex and marry. To those who committed these immoral acts that Allah does not want to see among people, so that they would give them up through warning, Allah Almighty sent Lot (peace be upon him) to this people as a prophet. But this perverse people cast Lot (peace be upon him) out from among them and left him alone. Defying Allah, in whom they did not believe, they called for Allah's punishment. And Allah Almighty wiped this people who had transgressed all bounds from the face of the earth. This is the destruction of a nation: first a terrible sound, then a roar and their land turned upside down, then stones of baked clay dropped on them, and their being erased from world history.

This is how a nation, through a terrible torment and destruction on earth, leaves a memory and lessons as an example to the generations to come; it comes to only this much.
