Translation

They (their ruins) can be seen by a passer-by from the roads around it.

Tafsir

They are on a road that is in front of the eyes, the Verse points to some meanings. In the first meaning; It states that the people of Lut are on a certain route, on a road that stands in front of the eyes, as an example to the people who will come until the Day of Judgment, so that people can take lessons from them. This town is located on the road between Hejaz and Damascus.

In the second sense, it means that even though people have seen such events, those who do not take lessons from the situation of the people who were in such a deviation, from the actions of the people who perished, and those who follow the paths of those people who perished, their end will not be different from theirs.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Hijr, verse 76. The verse: They are still on a road that lies before the eyes. Yes, where is this road, this road that lies before the eyes? On the old road, going from Tabuk to Medina, after Tabuk, when a certain municipality comes, there, I am a witness to this, I saw it while passing: on both sides of both roads, watermelon- sized, normal small-watermelon-sized, round, round stones, pitch-black round, round stones. These, specially, specially could not have been made, because they are all the same shape, and that land is in a state of (?). For eyes that see, it is easy to explain. Eyes that do not see, however, are in doubts, and those who ask themselves questions upon questions fall into dead ends.

What a beautiful thing faith is. A person with faith, a believing person, both believes the talks on the verses and such miracles of Allah with all their heart.

They are on a road that lies before the eyes. The verse points to several meanings. In the first meaning, it declares that the people of Lot, for the people coming until the Day of Judgment, as a lesson, so that people learn from them, that this place is on a certain route, that it lies on a road before the eyes, and we saw it. Yes, of course the people of that time also passed there. People of old too, those who went on Hajj in the old days, but those who knew nothing of the verses did not see that in that town were the people of Lot, and that these stones were stones of baked clay. This town lies on the road between the Hijaz and Damascus.

In the second meaning, despite people seeing so many events, of such peoples in perversion, from their state, from what the destroyed peoples did, those who take no lessons, on the road the destroyed people took, on that road,

those who are on it, that their end will be no different from theirs, it declares. That is, a town is not just destroyed; rather Allah Almighty, with the calamities He has given, destroys them in this way.
