Al-Hijr 90: We send down (punishment) to those dividers (of The Qur’an).

Just as, upon those who divide the Quran into parts, We have sent down the punishment, He says.

Surah Ar-Rum, verse 31, I think.

Do not be among those who split up their religion and became factions. Each sect of them exults in what it has. Today, in the religion of Islam, the Quran we did not divide into parts, but out of the feelings of the nafs we followed people in groups, in factions.

Faction by faction, these people,

I repeat, these people are unaware of the verses, unaware of the hadiths. Who? These people, with very few people excepted, and those are hidden anyway, those are hidden anyway, today the people who call themselves sheikhs, the person people follow as a hodja, the people followed, I'm telling you, know nothing of the verses. They may be hafiz of the Word. They may know its Arabic. But regarding the verses, they sleepwalk without meaning. Unaware of the hadiths, who call narrations hadith, who take various slanders as hadith and say "it is said so here too", the millions following such people, people following those who exploit consciences, could not divide the Quran, so they divided Islam into factions.

If only they had known and then divided into factions. If only they had known. If only they had known the verses, and those factions had been on the straight path that leads them to the Truth, a perfectly straight road.

What are we saying? Just as We have sent down the punishment upon those who divide the Quran into parts. Those who divide the Holy Quran into parts are those who, bound by the Gospel, follow it, that is, Christians; those who follow the Torah, Jews; and those who follow the Psalms. These three books, together with the Quran, were given to the Prophet (peace be upon him) under the name Quran. The Quran. Those who follow the Gospel, the Torah and the Psalms found within the Quran; although all these books are in the Quran, those who do not follow the Quran, being people who believe in these books piece by piece, turn away from the Quran and are the ones who divide the Quran into parts.

Jews, Christians, those who follow the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel. Upon them We have sent down the punishment. "But Hodja, they're living so well." How did this punishment come down? There is no deficiency in the Word of Allah Almighty. Well, explain this to us too, then. How will you explain it? In His verse Allah Almighty says: the hearts of non-Muslims, He says, are restless and scattered. Do you want a greater punishment than this?

The hearts of non-Muslims are restless and scattered. So they are in constant punishment. The real punishment, He says, is in the hereafter; its severity is in the hereafter, He says. Yes.

Allah saying "We sent down punishment on them": because such people do not believe in Allah and the Quran, and again remain outside Islam, because they associate partners with Allah, in these situations, since Allah Almighty gives two or three calamities a year, He declares: We sent down punishment on them. We say these things outwardly. But inwardly, the heart of every polytheist or non-Muslim is constantly scattered and restless. And they are lying disbelievers.

These are verses. I say what Allah says. Lying disbelievers. Before, before this knowledge was given to me, I used to say: is there no one among them who tells the truth? I used to think like that. And I couldn't figure it out. When knowledge started to be given, then truly, all of them are lying disbelievers. How am I to know? Do people who deny Allah, since they deny the truth, not become liars? Lying disbelievers. That's how simple it is. Yes. Lying disbelievers.

Another meaning, apparently: although Allah Almighty says "I am your Lord", since the hearts of people who, in their own imaginations, wait for a Lord they (?) and do not believe in Allah, are sealed, Allah Almighty, about them: their hearts are restless and scattered. So that is what we are saying here. Scattered. He sent down the verse. While living their worldly lives, they are restless until the end of their lives; because they are restless, they are in a punishment. So those who do not believe in the Quran, who divide it into parts, by their own wish have sought Allah's punishment and sent the punishment down upon their hearts.
