Proclaim openly that which you were ordered and turn away from those who associate partners.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) addressed the Prophet (s.a.w.), saying: "Say clearly what you have been commanded. That is, tell My Verses to the people openly. Do not be afraid of anyone. I am with you. In this regard, many traps were prepared for the Prophet (PBUH) and those who prepared these traps fell into their own traps. Therefore, O Habibim! Tell people what you have been commanded, that is, Allah's Sharia laws, in a beautiful language that they can understand.
And if the people whom you have called to guidance turn away from you and worship others besides Allah and associate partners with Allah, then turn away from them. Do not be with them and do not grieve over what they say against you. On the Day of Reckoning, We will seize them by the collars and throw them to the place they deserve.
What is said in the video
Yes.
Proclaim openly what you are commanded and turn away from those who associate partners, it says. Yes.
Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him), says: what you are commanded, proclaim it openly. Now, according to this verse, I too say: I am the qutb of the age, raised by my Lord Himself. I am the very one called the missing imam. They are searching for him as the missing imam. If I am wrong in this statement of mine, then in what I tell you of the verses (?) I tell superstitions. Is that so? When I explain the verses, I say fabricated words that contradict one another. Is that true too? When I open up the verses, do I really give rulings in a way that ascribes attributes to Allah, or in a way that suits the minds of superstitions?
Is that right? But beyond that, sifting the verses, you see, in the verses there is nothing wrong. Sifting their translations, we sift them without bringing any harm to Allah. Today we wrote hadith. We are sifting the hadiths. You were a scholar too. Why couldn't you sift them? So if I say I am the qutb of the age, if I say I am the one called the missing imam, and Allah Almighty, in Surah Ibrahim, in verse 4, says: We sent every prophet with the language of his own people, their very own language, and if He has sent me to you too, with a duty, in your very own language, do you see anything strange in that?
See the strangeness like this: if there is any deviance in what I tell, then see the strangeness. If there is no deviance and I speak the truth, do not persist in falsehood. If I am the deviant one and you speak the truth, you are obliged to convey the truth to me and you bear the responsibility. Is there any word more genuine than this?
Yes. Why are you silent?
I have taken on all the hodjas, the people called sheikhs too. Sometimes they talk utter deviance.
Reciting the Quran with a beautiful voice is one thing.
Knowing Arabic is another. Knowledge of the Quran is something else.
I see no brave soul who can give meaning to the Quran. Hodja, what do you consider yourself?
If it weren't for this verse, I would say so. Not to praise myself, though. When We raise a scholar, We raise a scholar above him, and a scholar above him, it says. If it weren't for this verse, I would say yes: I am the highest scholar on earth. But according to Allah Almighty's verse I cannot say this. Perhaps there is one higher than me too. How would I know him? By the language he speaks.
Just as John understood Jesus: oh, oh, oh, someone who speaks like you has appeared, he says. My namesake has come, praise be to Allah, he says. Yes.
Pay attention to my language. Does it resemble the language of the people passing themselves off as scholars on the market? Does it? I am asking you. The words in which any of you told those superstitions, and in which a person with his faith does not believe those superstitions and remains in doubt, does it resemble those, my speech? It stamps a seal on the heart of each of you. A seal. It stamps a seal of confirmation. Because Allah gave man such a mind that when that mind sees the truth, it knows what is right. When it sees the truth it knows what is right and takes what is right. If it weren't for his nafs, if he weren't prejudiced, yes.
What you are commanded, proclaim openly and turn away from those who associate partners, it says, and I too proclaim openly what I am commanded; this is not some whim coming to my nafs, I am telling Allah's verses, but people, those among them who look for faults where there are none, see him as (?), or as praising himself, or as caught in feelings of the nafs, God forbid; anyway, such a duty is not given to a person carried away by such feelings, it is not given. Yes, how many years have you been with me? Nearly 40, Hodja. In nearly 40 years, have you seen any change? Yes. Have you seen any mistake? Have you seen me come to you having studied and explain things?
Have you?
Neither did you (?) in any book. Nor did you study anything. So you are a witness, then. Yes. You will look for a wisdom here. Where did this knowledge come from? There is a wisdom in this, of course. Well, if I tell you my situation, if I invite you to the truth, if I want you to be governed by the truths, if from falsehood and superstitions, from the conscience exploiters, if I want to save you from those exploiters of conscience, am I doing wrong?
Yes. Allah Almighty says in the verse: My Beloved, you cannot make the deaf hear. And the dead you can never make hear.
We fulfil our duty in the sight of Allah. In the sight of Allah. As much as my Lord has made known to me, I tell you without hiding anything. Nothing. If I had hidden it, I would be a miser of knowledge; he is only fit for burning, it says. Fit for burning. If I had done my acts of worship without knowledge, (?), if I did the worship myself and told you the knowledge, this too is only fit for burning, it says. So the one who is like the sun is the one who both tells and is bound by what he tells, it says. Yes.
Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him): what you are commanded, proclaim openly. And we do proclaim it openly anyway. That is, explain the verses and the people openly. Fear no one.
The same feelings when opening the verses. I am writing the feelings here. The feelings. I am with you, He says. For this reason, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) many traps were prepared. Those who prepared these traps, into their own traps they themselves fell. For this reason, O My Beloved, what you are commanded, that is, Allah's legal rulings, explain to people beautifully and in a language they will understand. If the people you call to guidance turn away from you, worship others besides Allah, and continue to associate partners with Allah, then turn away from them. Do not be with them, and do not mind what they say against you and grieve.
Didn't they say things to me too on the internet? What things they said! But now there's not a sound from any of them.
I never forget one of them. He came out, saying all sorts of things. From there someone, I don't know who, answers him. Brother, he says, be a little patient, we were like you once, he says. Yes, we used to oppose too, he says. So the person does see the truth. He joined us. After that the incidents stopped anyway. Yes.
If the people you call to guidance turn away from you, worship others besides Allah and continue to associate partners with Allah, then turn away from them. Do not be with them, and do not mind what they say against you and grieve. On the Day of Reckoning We will seize them, grab them by their forelocks and throw them where they deserve, it says.
So one must be patient. While speaking the truth, of course, those who give their covenant half-heartedly or those who appear Muslim but give their covenant in a way that envies non-Muslims or those who, in ignorance, are ruled by superstitions and approve of falsehood will of course stand up against you. Here one must be very patient. We rely on the verse anyway. The prophets, it says, would approach them from the right of their heart, from the left, from the front and behind, it says. Do you know what this means? In whatever way an attack came at him, he would never leave them and would convey the message.
Despite their attacking me so much, I too never left and I conveyed it. The verses (?). Yes.
