Against those who mock (you), We are sufficient for you.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) addressed the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) and said: "We are sufficient for you. Surely Allah is the absolute power and will be the absolute victor. Even if the human and jinn groups gather together, they cannot overpower Allah. Those who are with Allah are the absolute victors, for Allah holds all of His creation under His sovereignty.
We are sufficient for you against those who mock; the meaning of "We" here is that these worlds were created by His Essence and come to life only with Allah. If Allah had said "I am" and separated the worlds from His Essence, the worlds would not have come to life and all would have fallen apart. This emphasizes that there is no God but Allah.
Allah does not need anyone. He alone has absolute power over all the worlds. But for the believing people who know Allah as their Creator and who are devoted to Allah and His Messenger, Allah assures them that He is behind them, giving them security, creating a unity, saying, "We are sufficient for you".
What is said in the video
scholar it says, (?), this is salvation, says the verse. Against those who mock you, We suffice you, it says. What does Surah Al-Hijr, verse 95, say? Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. O My Beloved, even if all the worlds, it says, were on one side and turned their backs on you, say: Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth and of the great Throne, suffices me, it says. This is at the same time my lesson; I say it constantly. So what people say does not concern me. Everyone is the mirror of the person facing him, he does the duty of a mirror. Whatever he says, he sees himself in me. So people insulted, sir, said this and that, disparaged you: are you with Allah?
Allah suffices me.
Even if all people were on one side and disparaged you, Allah, Lord of the worlds, of the great Throne, suffices me. Yes. Allah Almighty, to the Beloved of the Supreme, (?) Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), addressing him: We suffice you. Of course, since Allah is absolute power, He will be absolutely victorious. Even if the hosts of men and jinn gathered, they could not overpower Allah. Since Allah holds all He created under His rule, those with Allah are absolutely victorious. So, against those who mock, We suffice you. Our 'We' here, the meaning of 'We' is that these worlds, created by His essence, find life only with Allah, that is what it means. We suffice you.
That is, when He says 'We', it is as if, sir, there were creators besides Allah or as if there were gods along with Allah, and it meant them. Some say: Allah Almighty says the word 'We'. What does this mean, they ask. This 'We' means this.
The One who created all these worlds, from atom to globe, Allah Almighty, by His attribute Hayy, gives life to all that He created. If He withdrew His gaze from them for a moment, the whole universe would fall into chaos. So by saying 'We' He proves that He is the Lord of all these worlds and does not separate the worlds from Himself. If even a single atom were separate from Allah, it would suffer torment and moan and groan. So 'We' means Allah who gives life to the worlds, means the Lord of all the worlds.
The counterpart of the attribute Hayy.
So, against those who mock, We suffice you. The meaning of 'We' here is that these worlds, created by His essence, find life only with Allah; that is what it means. Had Allah said 'I' and separated the worlds from His essence, the worlds would not find life, everything would fall into chaos. From this, too, it emphasizes that there is no god but Allah. Allah needs no one. He alone has absolute power over all the worlds. But to those who know Allah as Creator, to Allah and the Prophet wholeheartedly, to the believing people wholeheartedly devoted to Allah and the Prophet, Allah, making known that He is behind them, gives them security; this creating unity, He says: We suffice you.
We suffice you. What a beautiful unity with the believers. Not only the Prophet: for those who are with Allah, Allah suffices. Yes.
