Allah’s order has come. Now do not rush in desiring it. Allah is far and exalted above the things they are associating as partners (with Allah).
Tafsir
Allah's command has come. The meaning of this verse is that Allah (swt) is declaring that He sent the Holy Qur'an with the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who was the Prophet of Hatemen, after the Gospel He sent with Jesus (pbuh). Allah's command has come. That is to say, He sent His commandment with a Book whose Shari'ah rulings will enlighten and enlighten people's life and path, win the Hereafter, and remove all their troubles.
Now do not desire death. Before the advent of Islam, when people wished for death in an unbearable life, such as immorality, fraud, injustice, burying their children alive, etc., Allah sent His command with truth and gave life to people. In this respect, the Prophet (PBUH) said, "Do not desire death. Staying in the world for a moment is better than lying in the earth for a thousand years). In this respect, if people who hold tightly to Allah's commandments say Allah once in the world, their sins will fall away like the leaves of hazel. Since it is in accordance with the purpose of Allah's creation, they will attain high ranks in the sight of Allah. That is why Allah (swt) says, 'Do not hasten in seeking death.
Allah is far from the partners of the pagans. Because Allah is the One Who created the universe out of nothing and created what the pagans worshipped. There is no equal or similar to Him in creation. He is the absolute ruler of His property. There is no god other than Him. Allah is free from the partners that the polytheists associate with Allah. He is the Most High. We cannot comprehend the greatness of God.
What is said in the video
We have come to the first verse of Surah An-Nahl. Surah An-Nahl. Allah's command has come. So do not be in a hurry to ask for it. Allah is far above and exalted beyond the partners they ascribe. Allah's command has come. In this verse, Allah Almighty's intent: after the Gospel He sent with Jesus (peace be upon him), He declares that to the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), He sent the Quran.
In the Gospel He does not say 'Allah's command has come.'
Why does He not say it? That too is Allah's word. But with the Quran, Allah's command has come.
If He had said it in the Gospel, the Torah and the Psalms, it would mean You still had more commands. 'Why did You not tell us?' they would have said. Right? But when He says Allah's command has come, the Torah, Psalms and Gospel are gathered in the Quran, and no further command will come; whatever wet or dry there is, is in the Quran; it is preserved with Us in a Book, the Preserved Tablet. According to the verse saying that nothing is added to it or taken from it afterwards, surely Allah's command has come in the Quran. And it is complete.
That He sent the Quran with Muhammad (peace be upon him), He declares. Allah's command has come. That is, the sacred rulings — with a Book through which people find life, their path is lit, they win the hereafter and all their troubles are removed, He sent His command. He sent His command.
People do not judge by Allah's command.
So they follow the desires of the nafs.
Plus they join in Satan's temptation. The world looks attractive to them, and toward the swamp of the world, toward that attraction, they are pulled. They see the swamp as an attraction. And then, because they turn their backs on Allah's verses, they get into a tight spot. Right? Distress. Today, about non-Muslims, Allah Almighty has sent down a verse. What does He say? Their hearts are restless and scattered, He says. Why does He say so? Because they turned their backs on the verses. Although human reason is deficient and shows a need for a Creator, a need for a leader, a person sees his own reason as above the Creator, turns his back on the Creator and if he goes by his own reason, they will surely reach a dead end.
When a person reaches a dead end, if he turns to Allah's verses or to scholars who know the verses for counsel, it will be remedied. So Allah Almighty, in the Quran, with sacred rulings, has sent His verses to hold a light before people.
In Surah An-Nur, look what Allah Almighty says in His verse: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim in the verse it continues. What does He say? We place Our light in the hearts of those who love Us. That light is like a lamp lit with olive oil, He says. It would nearly (?), that is, shine even if no fire touched it. On it, He says, falls the shadow neither of the east nor of the west. That is, the sun rises in the east; He calls this outward knowledge. The sun sets in the west; this He calls false knowledge. That is, there is no such thing as false knowledge, but He says false — superstitions. Those in whose hearts We place Our light, He says, those We place it in — neither the shadow of the east, that is, outward knowledge, affects them nor the false, He says.
So what does this mean? They, in Our knowledge, in Our inspiration — 've'r-râsihûn', as He calls them, people kneaded with Allah's knowledge — that their hearts are a source, a light, that each is someone who explains Allah's verses to people as guidance — that is what He makes known here. Yes. In Surah An-Nur.
So if you judge by the verses, you will find the truth. Well, Hodja, your reason is deficient too. Whom do you consult? By Allah, I consult Allah. I consult my Lord. I also ask people, as a means. First, to people: there is such and such a situation. What do you say? What do you do? Consultation, consultation. In consultation there is life. As you talk, as you talk, Allah sends His inspiration to your heart. Then you find the truth. Or you lie down to sleep for istikhara. You debate with your Lord. He guides you in the light of the verses. The verses tell your heart their meanings through inspiration.
Yes.
Now, do not wish for death. Before the religion of Islam came — immorality, fraud, injustice, burying their children alive in the ground — as people, in such an unbearable life, wished for death, Allah sent His command with truth and gave people life. Life. Through His justice. By making people brothers. Through prostrating to the One Allah. Because He did not create people from error (?), by people losing their errors in one another. By removing backbiting from (?). By removing gossip from among people. False speech, slander, evils like alcohol, like gambling, evils like usury — by eliminating them He offered people life.
Life. Yes.
For this reason the Prophet (peace be upon him): do not wish for death. Staying one moment in this world is better than lying a thousand years under the ground, he says. In a hadith.
Why is it better than lying a thousand years under the ground? Allah Almighty created man so that His Essence would be known. If you say 'Allah, Allah' even once in the world, since you accord with the purpose for which Allah created you, you are better than the unknown ones under the ground.
That is why Allah Almighty says: do not hasten in wishing for death, do not hasten in wishing for death — so He commands. Do not hasten in wishing for death.
Allah Almighty is far above and exalted beyond the partners the idolaters ascribe.
No comparison can even be made. Allah Almighty, compared with the partners the idolaters have ascribed — the words with our tongues to describe the states of our Lord we cannot find either. Because one is the Creator, the other worships what He created, worships what He created. On the Day of Resurrection the created ones will come forth too, those idols will come forth too. 'Did you say to them: I am your god?' They will be given speech. 'God forbid, we were unaware of ourselves.' 'We have no knowledge of what they did to us,' they will say. and they will vanish.
Then: 'Send us back once more. See how we will worship You,' when they say this — even if We sent you back not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again. Why? That is destiny. (?) He will come to the world again. That world will close again. He will do the same thing again. So, according to the verse 'Who is truer to his word than Allah?', the verse 'If only they knew Me' — this too they distorted: 'If only they had known Me beforehand', putting 'beforehand' in there. Here they ascribed attributes to Allah. When it says 'If only they had known Me beforehand', it means in the world, in the world Allah Almighty does not know what they will do, and 'if only they had known Me beforehand.' That is, if only they had known while in the world.
That is what it means. Whereas in the address 'Elestü bi-Rabbiküm' We from the offspring of the children of Adam, those who would come forth. And they shamelessly say 'from their loins', it says. After bringing them out — whether in the world, in the mother's womb or in the hereafter, it is unclear, they say — the making of the covenant. Look then. He takes Allah so lightly that he makes even the child in the mother's womb enter a covenant. And instead of the good man putting this here — Allah Almighty, since a child without the involvement of reason does no good deeds or sins, how can (?) the child in the mother's womb make a covenant?
(?) Did you see Allah? So you made a covenant.
So people unaware of the Quran have clung to certain positions, and in those positions, as scholars, on the religion, or in ascribing attributes to Allah, have turned their backs — such people. What will you expect from them? What would you expect from them? (?) Look what state they have come to. They keep silent, where they are silent. There is no telling people.
If they explained, perhaps they would lose their positions. Those who sell (?) in exchange. Yes.
Yes. Allah Almighty is far above and exalted beyond the partners the idolaters ascribe. Because Allah is the One who created the universe from nothing and who also created what the idolaters worship.
In terms of creation, there is no equal or likeness to Him, that is, to Allah. In terms of creation. He is the absolute ruler of His dominion. There is no god but Him. Allah is free from the partners the polytheists ascribe to Allah. He is very exalted, exalted. We cannot comprehend Allah's exaltedness with our reason. Why can we not comprehend it? (?) (?) does He create? How does He make it? If we only knew those, then we would understand His exaltedness. We do not even know creation, how He creates. With a limited mind we perceive that Allah is great. He is the great Creator. We have submitted to Him.
Because there is no god but Him. And He is our Owner. Yes.
