Allah created the human from a drop of fluid. But behold, that person becomes openly an enemy of Allah!
Tafsir
Allah created man from a drop of water. In this water, the human cells, which are magnified a thousand times under a microscope, grow in the womb in the darkness of the fertilization bed. Then, when the time comes, it comes into the world as a baby in need of care. Then, when it grows up, forgetting how it was created and where it came from, it becomes a rebel against its Lord in its helplessness. On the fortieth day, the soul enters the fetus in the womb as a spirit, fulfilling the covenant it made in kalu bela. He becomes more interested in the body and forgets his Lord. He becomes an open enemy to Allah. He makes Allah witness what kind of a person he is in the worldly realm, where Allah is unseen and veiled, by having Allah write his covenant as fate.
What is said in the video
We are reading the fourth verse of Surah An-Nahl. He created man from a drop of water. But then you see that man, toward his Lord, an open adversary has suddenly become. Eve lem yera'l-insânu ennâ halaknâhu min nutfetin Fe izâ huve hasîmün mübîn. We created man from a drop of lowly water, but he suddenly turned into an open rebel, it says. Yes, Allah created man from a drop of lowly water, He created him, that is, he forms from the human cells in the womb. A cell that is seen only when magnified a thousand times under a microscope, into which Allah places all the organs, the glory of Allah's Knowledge and Power that it magnified (?). In this created water, magnified a thousand times under a microscope, the visible human cells, in the mother's womb, (?), in darknesses, grow while being nourished.
We made them grow within three darknesses, it says. Three darknesses. The womb. The water around the womb. And (?). Three darknesses, in the water, (?). Then, when the time comes, he comes into the world as a baby in need of care. Then, when he grows up, forgetting how he was created in body and where he came from, in his helplessness he suddenly turns into a rebel against his Lord. These are meaningful words. Let me read that part once more. Then, when he grows up, forgetting how he was created in body and where he came from.
Yunus Emre says something here. One who does not know where he comes from and where he goes is an animal. Yes. Our creation back in the realm of Lahut, our covenant with Allah Almighty while we were souls, then His raising us to the barzakh, every soul whose time has come entering the mother's womb on the fortieth day, coming into the world, and in the world proving what kind of person it is. Then the same journey will continue back again. Yes.
Then, when the time comes, he comes into the world as a baby in need of care. Then, when he grows up, forgetting how he was created in body and where he came from, in his helplessness he suddenly turns into a rebel against his Lord. The covenant he gave at Qalu Bala — as a soul, on the fortieth day, into the embryo in the mother's womb he enters. Increasing his attachment to the body, he forgets his Lord. In the worldly realm, a realm in which Allah Almighty is hidden and veiled, what kind of person he is, he makes Allah witness.
Yes.
Here, when we say the covenant he gave at Qalu Bala, as a soul he enters the embryo in the mother's womb on the fortieth day, in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 172, in that verse: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, We with the children of Adam, those who would emerge from their offspring, made a covenant. We said, "We are your Lord." (?) Then each person's own wish, desire and will became his destiny. With that destiny, people were raised to the barzakh. In the realm of barzakh, the soul whose time has come — girl or boy, to which person, for which person it will be a better test — since our Lord knows this, He gives it to that person.
Now, the verse "Only Allah knows what is in the wombs" — they have explained it like this. The wombs, only Allah knows what is in the wombs. That is, whether it is a girl or a boy, they say. Well, today that is known.
Only Allah knows those who will come to the wombs, who will enter them. Will He give her a girl, or will He give a boy? That is, from the realm of barzakh, a girl (?), or a boy (?)? A boy (?)? The knowledge of this is with Allah. No one can know this. So when it is said "Only Allah knows what is in the wombs," that means only Allah knows those who will come to the wombs. Otherwise, when we say Allah knows what is in the wombs — today whether it is a girl or a boy in the womb is known. Isn't it? Yes.
Shall we open it up further? Let's move on. Let's move on. If we open it up a bit more, it goes deep.
But let's open it up, shall we? Let's learn it a bit better. Isn't that so? Yes. Now, when He takes the soul whose time has come from the barzakh, Allah Almighty, in the so-called realm of nearness, what we call the sultani soul, sir, clothes the soul in a kısme. That kısme is this. You install a program on a computer. You don't want anyone but you to see that program. You give it a password. No one can open it. In the same way, there you forget that realm, that your Lord, from the realm of barzakh, took you — you forget it. You forget. From there He sends you to the realm of malakut. This is called the ruhani soul.
There too, a kısme, that is, another lock, makes you forget. Then He sends man into the world. That is, into the mother's womb. Here some scholars call it the animal soul. Some call it the bodily soul. I don't call it the animal soul. They call it the animal soul like this. All created things are creatures. It is Allah who creates the creature in proportion to His will. In this case, since He gave man a partial soul from His own Being, although in terms of creation they speak of it as animal, man is created honored above the worlds; in the verse it says, We created man honored above the worlds.
We call this the bodily soul. The bodily soul. Yes. And the realm of the hereafter, where he came from, is made forgotten to it. Actually this is in the memory. It is in a person's, in every person's memory. How do you know, Hodja? In Surah Al-Waqi'ah, when the soul reaches the throat, Go on, bring it back then, it says. All the relatives gather around him and wait for the soul to leave. Are you closer to him with your (?), or are We? He says, Send me back once more, see how I will worship You; We say, if We sent you back not once but several more times, you would do the same thing again, it says.
Because that realm will again be made forgotten. Again, since our characters won't change as long as they are in us, we will play the same game. That is, we had our script written there; as actors in the world we play the script we had written. Yes. That's why every person proves here what kind of person he is and moves on to the hereafter that way. Then what was the need? Since Allah already knew it there, why did He send us here? Allah Almighty is free from all deficient attributes. No one will be able to say to Him, My Lord, had this been so, I would have done such for You.
And what does Allah Almighty say in verse 47 of Surah Al-Qasas? Had We destroyed you before the Remembrance, you would surely have said this, it says.
Had You sent us a prophet, a book, we would have followed Your verses, you would say, it says. Give me my phone, let me see. Look there. Let me read you the verses from there. Yes.
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134, and Surah Al-Qasas, verse 47. Let's read Surah Al-Qasas: when, because of what they themselves have done, a calamity befalls them, Our Lord, if only You had sent us a prophet so that we would follow Your verses and be among the believers — if they were not going to say that, We would not have sent you; if they did not say, If only You had sent us a messenger. If... And in Surah Ta-Ha too: well, We, before this, before the Quran — so what was there before the Quran? There was Allah. When you say before the Quran, Allah together with His own Being. And when it says before the Quran, Allah willed, He created man.
Where? In the realm of Lahut, in the realm of souls. He made a covenant with us. Had We destroyed them with a punishment before the Quran, that is, without sending them the Quran, in the realm of Lahut as We created them, when We made the covenant with them — We know whether they are rebellious or (?). But had We destroyed them as rebels, they would surely have said this: O Lord, if only You had sent us a messenger, so that (?) (?) and followed Your verses before. Why would they say that? Allah Almighty gave man a part of His soul. Apart from man, no being in the universe has a soul. But people who don't know themselves give cats, dogs, animals, creatures, plants, nature a soul.
Because man has a soul, Allah Almighty says, We have honored you above the worlds. And since Allah Almighty is in man, He has made man the addressee of His Being. In this case man, man is created very honored. Ve lekad halakna'l-insâne fî ahseni takvîm. I created man in the most beautiful form, He says. And in the most beautiful form, it is Mine, He says. Now, in this case, while man was there, in the realm of Lahut: You are for hell, and you are for paradise. This is the covenant you gave — had He said that: My God, how was I to know that You are my God? You created (?). Had You sent me to an unseen realm, a prophet there, or had You sent me a book, I would have worshipped You there — so that they cannot say that.
Allah, free from deficient attributes, created these realms and placed us, whom He brought, in an unseen realm. By an unseen realm we mean a realm in which His Being is not seen. Now, step into the arena. You will again play out your same nature. Whatever covenant you made, whatever script, whatever destiny you had written, surely when the time comes you will make it emerge in your wish and desire. And Allah Almighty creates causes according to the wishes and desires of all people, and people earn reward and sin by their deeds according to these causes. Now it's better understood, isn't it? Yes.
If you go in depth, there is even deeper. Yes, that's enough.
