An-Nahl 5: Allah has also created animals. There are (things) to warm you and many benefits from them. And some of them, you eat.

Translation

Allah has also created animals. There are (things) to warm you and many benefits from them. And some of them, you eat.

Tafsir

There is not a speck in the universe that Allah has not created. By saying that Allah created the animals, too, he is telling people about Allah's blessings on human beings and declaring these verses in order to inform people of the glory of Allah and to inform every intelligent person of the glory of Allah and the fulfillment of his gratitude to Him through faith in Allah as his Lord.

When he says that they have warmth for you, that is, protection, he means that animals are used for warmth and protection, including fur animals and other animal skins, the clothes that people wear, leather jackets and coats, and the leather underneath shoes.

When he says that there are also many benefits; obtaining milk from cattle and small cattle, eating their meat, as well as trade, and benefiting from game animals, Allah wants to show His endless blessings on human beings.

If we go in depth, there is even deeper. Yes, that's enough. Surah An-Nahl, verse 5. He also created the animals. In them there are warming things for you and many benefits. And some of them you eat, it says. Didn't we eat this evening? With their lives, their meat, their skins, their milk, their whole bodies, they serve people. They carry our loads.

There is not an atom in the universe that Allah did not create. If an atom in the universe Allah had created — if an atom, by Allah, had not been created, then surely a second god would have created it. In that case, Allah Almighty says this verse. Had there been another god besides Allah, what it created — it too would take what it created, and everything would sink into corruption. Yes. So whatever is created, from the atom to the globe, is what Allah Almighty created, and Allah Almighty has set His sign on what He created. With what? With this verse. The heavens and the earth and what is between them have known the remembrance of your Lord.

With that verse. By making all His creation remember His Being, Allah Almighty has signified that there is no god besides Allah. Just as a factory produces a product and takes out its patent. That patent belongs to that factory. No one else can produce it. So if Allah Almighty, in this universe He created, makes every atom remember His Being, He has signified that there is no god besides Allah, and the heavens and the earth — every soul shall taste death. The inheritance of the heavens and the earth and what is between them will again remain to Allah. He created it, and it will be His again. Yes.

There is not an atom in the universe that Allah did not create. Allah also created the animals. By saying this, telling people of Allah's blessings upon them, to every person of reason Allah's (?), faith in Allah who is the Lord, and the giving of thanks to Him — to make this known, He sets forth these verses to people.

In them there are warming things for you, that is, when it says there is protection: fur animals and other animal skins, the garments people wear on themselves, leather jackets and coats.

From the leather soles under shoes to the leather on top, by making use of animals people benefit from keeping warm and protected. And there are many other benefits. When it says that — getting milk from cattle and from sheep and goats, eating their meat, also doing trade, by making use of animals as well, Allah Almighty wanted to show His never-ending blessings upon people. Yes.
