Translation

The Straight Path belongs to Allah. There are also twisted paths. If Allah willed, Allah would guide you all to the straight path.

Tafsir

The right path is Allah's. Because Allah is the All-Mindful. He is free from all deficient attributes. He is the Creator and the Knower of His creation. Therefore, the right path is His. Because He is compassionate and merciful to His creatures. He is always showing people the truth. He loves people so much that He wants them to be guided.

There is also a crooked path. When people leave the straight path of Allah, because their intellect is incomplete and the decisions made by their intellect are incomplete, they go astray. People deviate in the middle of the straight path by their actions based on their egoistic feelings. Following the temptation of Satan, they follow the tagut. They are deceived by the ornaments of the world, and they turn aside from the right path to crooked paths.

(If Allah had willed, He would have guided you all to the right path) If Allah, being the Creator, had not left us free in our will, if He had willed us to be a righteous human being as He desired, we would have been no different from the other creatures He created, we would have been programmed to do the same things as them, and we would have been free from reward and sin. However, with the value He has given to human beings, He has willed that human beings should know Him within their own will. By leaving us free in our will, Allah wanted us to know our Lord through our own ability. In this respect, He has given man a beautiful intellect, much more than any of His other creations. He advised us to use the intellect He has given us and to use our intellect with His verse, "Do you never use your intellect?". He tried to teach those who did not know how to use their minds to use their minds with verses and to introduce His Essence by giving them parables and examples.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nahl, verse 9: The right way belongs to Allah, it says.

The right way is the one we recite every day in the five prayers, in every rak'ah: sırat-ı müstakim (?), the way of the friends of our Lord. There is also a crooked way. The one the Accursed shows; that is why the Accursed was given the opportunity. There was one to show the way to what is right, he says. And for the crooked, one to show the way was needed too, he says. That is why Satan was given this permission, he says. Yes. If Allah had willed, He would have guided you all to the right path. Amenna saddakna. So is it saying that, if He willed, Allah could not create all of us Muslim? He can. His knowledge and power suffice for everything.

But He was going to create such a being, that is, this being, from Himself a (?) He would create, and this being, by its own mind and by its own knowledge, would be free not to know its Lord, it would have free choice. It would make its own decision itself.

For example, when we pass from here to the hereafter, when the people of Paradise enter Paradise, the verse says this: We will load something new into you, it says. What is this loading? There it will completely remove feelings of grief, (?) and hatred. Entirely with feelings of brotherhood toward one another, the moral side that Allah Almighty wants it will (?) in us. Look, if a believer, a believer is not safe from his hand, his loins and his tongue, his faith has not reached perfection. In line with this hadith, our hands, loins and tongues will have been made perfect. Yes.

How beautiful, isn't it? No one will be able to think of harming anyone. The thing called adultery will not exist there. Yes. Because you will not be able to think of it. You will see the others as your brothers. God willing, as it says, if this world resembles the hereafter, doesn't it say the believer's brother? For a brother, his brother's life, property and honour are forbidden. That is where these loadings will take place. Yes.

The right way belongs to Allah. There is also a crooked way. If Allah had willed, He would have guided you all to the right path. The right way belongs to Allah. Because Allah is the possessor of all intellect. He is free from all imperfect attributes. He is the one who creates and knows what He has created. In this respect the right way — because He is kind and merciful to His creatures. He constantly shows people what is right. Because He loves people very much, He wills that they attain guidance. There is also a crooked way. When people leave Allah's right path, since their minds are deficient, and since the decisions of their own minds will also be deficient, they turn aside to the crooked way. Carried away by the feelings of the nafs, people, in what they do, in the middle of the straight road, go astray.

Following the (?) that Satan gives, they run after the taghut. Deceived by the adornment of the world, they stray onto crooked paths outside the right way. To them the world is like the flower of the zaqqum tree that blooms in a swamp, so it appears. Yes.

If Allah had willed, He would have guided you all to the right path. Since Allah is the Creator, if He had not left us free in our will, if He had willed us to be a friend, a right person, as He desires, from the other beings He created we would no longer differ. He would program us too, like them, for the deeds we would do, and our matter of reward and sin would disappear. Now: "Do you never use your intellect?" According to that verse.

I want you to use your intellect and think.

Draw a comparison.

According to this verse I have read. Does Allah increase a person's kufr?

Well, does Allah take my will away from me and use His own will over me?

What kind of Quran have they written? Quran: Allah increases a person's kufr. Allah, sir, puts whom He wills into Paradise and whom He wills into Hell, and they ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty. And the Diyanet allows this too. The Diyanet writes the same thing too. They are all copies of one another. The Diyanet writes the same thing too. Well, according to this verse I read and according to the translation here, the translation, do they bear the burden of sin or not?

I have fulfilled my duty in Allah's religion. What happens after this is up to them. People are witnesses to this, and Allah is witness.

And we have also written the correct version. We have written the correct version too. Wrong and right side by side. Look, whichever page you open, red is wrong, green is right.

For example, let's read here now. Let me read one of them here. My Lord's mercy, if you possessed the treasure of my Lord's mercy, you would hold back more and more for fear of it being spent (?). Man is very tight-fisted, it says. Man is very tight-fisted. Now here you would call this normal, wouldn't you? It is so. I mean, it really is so, but if you say it like this, you ascribe it to Allah. How do you ascribe it? Allah could not create a being that is not tight-fisted. Then what does He want from me? Whereas, although this verse's (?) is like this, in terms of meaning, its full meaning, since it has no Turkish meaning, it is: such people are very tight-fisted. That is, we say many people: many people would hold back more and more; such people are very tight-fisted.

Now, (?) are there no generous people? Well, what happened to the generous? Where did they go here? If I say it like the Diyanet, if you say very tight-fisted, if you say man is very tight-fisted, where did the generous go? Where did the righteous servants go?

There is also a wrong verse above. Let me touch on it, I'm closing anyway. Whomever Allah guides, he is the one who finds the right path, it says. Look then. Allah made a distinction among His servants. He made a distinction. Whomever Allah guided found the right path. Well, I am Allah's servant. Why didn't You guide me? You created me.

The correct version here: whoever asks Allah for guidance, whoever knows Allah, uses his will and turns to his Lord, he is the one who finds the right path. Why don't you write it like this, instead of calling it an attribute of Allah? Does Allah fit into your mind? When we say these things, they try to trick me with 40 thousand (?) Arabic words. Your Arabic words, next to Allah's knowledge, amount to nothing. I'm saying it. Hodja, they made this mistake in the rendering of Surah Al-Asr too. How? You know Surah Al-Asr, Hodja, they made this mistake in its translation too. What did they do? It says all people are in loss, it says.

Yes. Yes. It's like this in small places.

Among people: since Allah created me like this, (?), created me (?), He will accept me like this. Most say that anyway. He created me like that, they say, He will accept me like this, they say. They can't say it is (?) in people. For example, it says: judgment belongs to Allah alone, it says. Look, a bird flies with two wings. A bird does not fly with one wing.

Judgment is not Allah's. As long as we live, judgment is ours; with the judgments I make I earn reward and sin. When is judgment Allah's? Look what the verse says. On that day judgment belongs to Allah alone, it says. You remove this "that day", you remove "that day", and judgment belongs to Allah alone — how do you (?) say this? Which day is that day? The Hour will come, we will be resurrected at the gathering, the supreme court will be set up. On that day, eleysallahu bi ahkemi'l-hâkimîn, apart from the judgment of Allah, the judge of judges, no one can give judgment. That day, it says, judgment is Mine alone, it says.

So today the judgment is mine alone. With my judgment, with my will, I will earn reward and sin. If you tie this judgment to Allah's judgment, what does He want from me for my judgment?

That's how half-baked people's knowledge is. That's how they are bound by such superstitions. Yes.

The right way is Allah's, it says. There is also a crooked way. If Allah had willed, He would have guided you all to the right path, it says.

There is also a crooked way. When people leave Allah's right path, since their minds are deficient, and since the decisions of their own minds will also be deficient, they turn aside to the crooked way. Carried away by the feelings of the nafs, people, with what they do, in the middle of the straight road, go astray. With the (?) that Satan gives, they run after the taghut. Deceived by the adornment of the world, they stray onto a crooked path outside the right way. What we call taghut also means Satan. A two-legged human, a bad person, someone in a satanic state is who they follow. If Allah had willed, He would have guided you all to the right path.

Since Allah is the Creator, if He had not left us free in our will, if, as He desires, He had willed us to be a friend, a right person, from the other beings He created we would no longer differ. He would program us too, like them, for the deeds we would do, and our matter of reward and sin would disappear. Like whom? Like whom? Like the angels. He already has such servants. The angels. They have no matter of reward and sin. They are robots. Robot. Angels are robots. Whatever Allah commands, they do that. What command? They cannot go beyond it. Yes.

Is there such a verse? Of course there is. Which verse? He says to Adam, He says to His angels: now name the things. And they say, (?), we know nothing other than what You have made known to us, it says. He says to Adam: name the things. Adam starts naming them. Yes. So whatever He taught them, they know. They cannot go beyond it. Now can you imagine? That man is the noblest of creatures, that by himself he governs himself, that by himself he passes judgment and makes himself subject to reward and sin, how he directs himself with his partial will — you cannot tie this to Allah. Yes. It's understood, isn't it, Halim?

It's understood. However, with the value He gave to man, that His essence be known within man's own will, Allah willed. Leaving us free in our will, He wanted us, with our own ability, to know our Lord. For this reason He gave man a far more beautiful intellect than His other creatures. The intellect He gave: that we use the intellect; with His verse saying, "Because you never use your intellect, I will call you to account", He advised us to use our intellect. And to those who do not know how to use their intellect, He tried to teach with verses how to use it, and by giving them similes and examples, to make His essence known.

Yes.
